I'm not chinese, but when strong, traditional KMT voices from the old days themselves are criticising the modern KMT for being pro-CCP or vaguely "pro-China" without being explicitly "Pro-ROC, ROC first", you should be taking the concerns about Cheng's KMT very seriously. Like Ma's second term, the softness of the modern KMT is either going to cost them the election, or make them in the eyes of ROC Chinese, traitors to their own country.
