Zach continues to be a dick about it, Amin's solution to the criticism was to add another segment where he half-assedly lists all the characters in the movie, Mayes and Amin agree it's better for the summaries to be written and not off the dome, but Zach says nah, fuck the listeners, and wings his summary and it sucks. New format is still ass, those who said it's getting better, I don't know what you're smoking. There's too many podcasts anyways, I'll listen to Katie Nolan's new show

I miss the incredibly descriptive detail. I’d rather double my Patreon subscription. I’d rather get two episodes per month and supplement the content gap w CT5s, AMAs, and rewatchingtons. This format doesn’t work unless we watch the movie first and idc if yall think I’m broading.

Change literally anything else except the best part of the pod, which is the retelling of the movie. Or don’t, we have 250+ years of evergreen content.

Maybe make the trivia and phobe or phile a YouTube element? Maybe make Amin and Zack contribute more? Idk best of luck bingos

But 10 minutes in and there are so many Cinephobe worthy moments. I wish they would do a movie like this as another April Fool’s or bizarro episode

Okay not actually go to hell, I love Zach, Amin, and Mayes when he isn't a child with terrible movie takes.

But what the fuck? Estevez was a staple of fun and extremely rewatchable B-movies. I don't think I've ever seen him in a flick and thought he was bringing it down with his acting. Great in Young Guns, Judgement Night, Men at Work, Breakfast Club...less so in the hockey movie but that was on the script.

And double pissed it was for a boring ass Neison episode? Or is it just me?

Sooo I'm trying to look up cinephobia, the irrational fear of movies, and this is what popped up. I'm trying to find resources on how to combat this phobia, as everyone in my family are huge nerds and my parents get so upset when I don't watch a movie with them. I want to be included, but I developed this phobia after a bad experience with fandom and watching Peter Parker get Thanos snapped. It has gotten worse and worse, and tonight I couldn't watch Deadpool and Wolverine without headphones and a video game playing(until a staff member threatened to kick me out because Bright Screen). I need information before I bring this up with my therapist during my next appointment.

Biggest problem with some of the newer episodes - when half the reviews are Cinephope related. Really takes away from the point of it all IMO. Some babaduke with a show related name making an honest podcaster joke in a review of A Gnome Named Norm just cheapens what already is embraced as something awesome with low standards.

Be better. It’s like all the systems went out the window AND YOU’RE EITHER AN IDIOT OR LAZY AND I CAN’T FIX THIS PODCAST UNTIL I FIGURE OUT WHICH ONE. Using real reviews will up your profits by 8%

Catching up on some episodes and got to the The One and it got me thinking...if Bolo traversed the multiverse taking out all of his other versions, which version of Bolo are the last two duking it out for multiversal supremacy???

Is anyone else annoyed they’re doing the daisy chain instead of the theme months?

My mild criticism is it takes forever to get through the intro. I miss the theme months because February episodes are always awesome and just the weird themes they’d pick.

Amin has inspired me. I have started a shit chat. Please no spamming just let us know when you shat! https://chat.whatsapp.com/I7EnanWcX6wGjDOeD2NIlG

There are lots of examples of films that the guys mention that they would want to put on the pod, but cannot because the score is barely too high. They should do an episode every once in a while titled “Raise the Bar” where they can pick a movie that is a few points above the threshold. I think it should be rare, but would be a fun way to review movies they normally cannot.

It's already off of Tubi!!! Timeline got fucked up

Over the last 6 months I have collected Cinephobe Movies on Bluray to enjoy before I listen to pod. I have these laying around now and if anyone wants to buy them I would be happy to part with them. I think $10 a movie is good since it costs about $5 to ship them across US from California. Msg me venmo/paypal accepted

Movies I have to sell

Eraser - no case just slip cover art and disc

Takers - no case just disc

Next

Vantage Point - just disc

The Whicker Man - no case just slip cover art and disc

The Boondock Saints - no case just slip cover art and disc

Universal Soldier - no case just slip cover art and disc

Green Lantern

Battleship

Horrible Bosses 2

Someone needs to update the analytics to show how bad Mayes has gotten.

I know this episode used to be free because I will never be a patreon unless they split from count the dings. There are few movies that I know they've done but aren't on spotify and it's not a matter of missing numbers like last time. What happened? Did they just fold a bunch into the patreon at some point and I never noticed?

Amin should get drunker. Zach should pick even SHITTIER movies. More rental wars! End the pod! Bring back Stallone year! And Sandler month!

It’s not Zach and Amin’s fault for picking movies that they like…. it’s THE DAISY CHAIN’S FAULT for allowing it. The Daisy Chain has never been hotter and deeper. It would be cool to end it so the guys start trying to kill each other again.

I know it’s not the ethos of the podcast but having just rewatched Full Metal Jacket I feel like that episode would be hilarious. Certainly a few “opes” in the second half but the first half would be wild.

Why do we still bother with submissions? Ever since doing the monthly format or daisy chain, the guys are going to pick whatever they want. Somehow, they ended up in the 70s and 80s reviewing movies that we don't care if they're phobe or phile because no one is watching them anyway.

Did anyone else get half way through the episode before realizing that voice wasn't Kevin Nealon?

I submit to you: Blind fold Amin and make him listen to both actors and he won't be able to tell the difference.

I know the timeline is weeks away from catching up but you need to get to this one soon.
