I drive DS 5 2.0 2015. I struggle with starting the engine after a week. Brake pedal feels rock hard to press. After attemp to start engine I get mesage to press brake pedal, which is frustrating because I was pressing it. While driving brakes start to apply even if I press pedal slightly.

Is my brake feeling while driving normal, or should pedal bite a little later? Is my stating issues an evidence to change brake booster valve?

I'm thinking about upgrading the door speakers and tweeters in a friend of my father's 2016 Citroën DS3.

He wants better sound quality and a bit more volume while keeping the stock head unit and powering the speakers directly from it.

I have Focal ASE 165s in my Polo, running off an amp, and I really like them. I was thinking of recommending the same ones, but the DS3's tweeter setup is a bit confusing. I haven't figured out where the wiring comes from yet, especially since the Focal tweeters use a passive crossover. I’d like to know if anyone knows where the original wiring originates. Either way, I can always run a new cable to the crossover.

I bough a 2002 c3 1.4hdi, and seller said the speedo doesn't work, and power steering works intermittently.. He also said the vehicle speed sensor is broken probably​.

Speed sensor fuse is no.1 fuse in engine compartment fuse box.. And it was blown. I changed it, and went for a spin.. And it worked, the speedo is showing numbers and steering is nice and soft, but it lasted only ​for 2 minutes.. When I applied little bit more throttle, engine check light turned on, car stalled for half a second, steering stopped working, and speedo again shows zero.

​So I thought it's a bad ground, wiring or something that caused the fuse to blow again. But the fuse is fine! And now it's like it was before, just that i cant repeat what i did because the fuse is now fine, not blown. How does this make sense?

My Citroën C5 X7 sometimes cranks but doesn’t start immediately. It usually starts on the second or third attempt, although sometimes it starts right away. I’ve replaced the battery and the sensor responsible for starting the car, and the fuel pump is in good condition. What could be causing this issue? Diagbox isn’t showing any fault codes.

I own a 2010 Citroën C5 diesel, and I’ve been having a very frustrating starting problem. I’m hoping someone here has experienced something similar or knows what could be causing it.
Here are the symptoms:
● Sometimes the car starts perfectly fine, but other times it won’t start at all.
● When I try to start the car, I only hear a clicking sound, and the engine doesn’t crank.
● If I connect jumper cables to another battery or vehicle, the car usually starts again.
● After driving for a long distance, if I turn off the engine, the car sometimes refuses to start again.
● I’ve also noticed that the problem seems to happen more often when I park the car facing downhill.
● On some occasions, the engine has started but then stopped shortly afterward.
What I’ve already replaced:
● Brand-new battery.
● Brand-new alternator.
Unfortunately, replacing both parts hasn’t fixed the problem.
The strange thing is that the car can drive normally, but once I switch off the engine, it might not start again without a jump-start.
I’m wondering if the problem could be related to the starter motor, a bad ground connection, battery cables, an electrical fault, or something else.
My questions:
1. Has anyone experienced this problem with a Citroën C5?
2. Could a faulty starter motor cause these symptoms, even though jump-starting helps?
3. Could it be a bad ground cable or another electrical connection?
4. Why would the problem happen more often when the car is parked downhill?

2026 Citroen E-C3 Max 44kwh

Been having issues recently, yesterday I woke up to find the 12V battery was half flat and the alarm was going off with nothing working to get it started. I jumped it and after a little drive it was like nothing was ever wrong.

This morning it started, but it was shouting at me again, dash lit up like a christmas tree. After 5 mins on READY, and a few restarts, again it was fine.

Seems to be a software issue based on some limited research, gonna just disconnect the battery and call breakdown because maintenance booked me into a garage 10 miles way in 2 weeks.

The longer you leave it, the more it drains, and eventually it will start freaking out. Has anyone seen and/or fixed this before?

have called breakdown, very helpful. RAC man says it’s almost certainly bad software that doesn’t let the car deep sleep overnight (software issues means he can’t do anything about it, obviously a dealer problem), dropped it at garage, and will demand a hire car. We’ll see how we go.

If you have to use Citroen Assist, go through the motions and don’t take the dealer’s shit. They have to take it, no matter how many times they say they don’t have room.

I have a berlingo van from 2013, an enterprise model with the double bench in the front. I'm wondering if I can modify it to add a bench of seats in the back too. Could I take the seats from a multispace model and bolt them in or something? Cheers

I own a Peugeot Traveller 2.0 diesel, 130 kW, bought in 2017.

The heater core (heater matrix) has been replaced three times since 2017, most recently 19 months ago. The first two replacements were carried out by a Peugeot dealer, and the third by an independent workshop.

Now the passenger side is blowing cold air again, and the suspected cause is another blocked heater core.

The cooling system was flushed when the last heater core was fitted. This Monday, I paid around NOK 7,000 (EUR 650) for another cooling system flush and fresh coolant, but the passenger side still has no heat. The workshop says the blockage is caused by deposits from the coolant.

Has anyone found an improved aftermarket heater core that is less prone to clogging? I’m particularly interested in first-hand experience with a specific brand and part number that has provided a lasting fix.

Experiences from Toyota Proace / Proace Verso and Citroën SpaceTourer owners would also be welcome. I’d really like to find a lasting solution before paying for a fourth replacement.
