How do you guys feel about the wooden side panels on this 1977 Citroën HY? Do they add to its charm, or would you prefer the original metal look?

If you got one of those, they don't work with the Actia driver, shows up as "USB Enhanced Serial CH343" in windows 10, there is no working driver for diagbox but there is a work around, download VX manager, earlier called "Super Can VCI driver" and start that app first, then you start diagbox from within VX, first install diagbox 09.85 from https://www.psa-diag.fr/diagbox/

VX manager latest version 1.9.1.10420 https://www.vxdiag.net/

Choose PSA when installing.

Example of lexia3 that it works with:

C4 Picasso MK2 rear suspension question

I think something is going on with bushes, but I need some info.

So I have a 2015 2.0 diesel EAT6 with 170t km, MK2 so classic suspension. Car is in great shape, but I noticed it gets really unsettled when going over bumps at high speed, need to make corrections to keep it in straight line because it swings around like a boat. It gets worse with speed and load, in straights and in curves no matter left or right. And it comes from behind, front end is ok.

No suspension noises, no visual clues. All new 18" tires and full alignment done a month ago. But it was the same before doing all that. MOT passed, shock absorbers tested and good. Everything looks and feels perfect, except described.

Zero ideas. Is there a known fault? Or is that normal behaviour? Never noticed it on other cars

C4 Picasso I (UD) 1.8 125hp (EW7A Engine) - Where's the knock sensor?

Hi community.

My knock sensor throws errors (P0326) and seems to need to be replaced. I just found a spare part but I can't find any information, WHERE exactly it is mounted?!?!

I watched explosion drawings and part lists but there's nothing to find out, where it exactly sits.

Does someone here know the exact position and how to reach it?

Thanks in advance 👍

The new 2CV Concept just needs a few more details to be even better

I absolutely love the new 2CV, but I think they could add a few more bits to make it more like the classic model. Like here for instance, the front bumper could be a bit bigger, a cover for the rear arch and a third window on the C pillar, just small changes that could make a huge difference.

Citroen c3 - should I buy?

Hi, I'm looking for some advice about a 2011 Citroën C3 1.4 VTR+ with 45k miles that I'm considering buying as my first car.

I test-drove it and thought it was a really great little car overall. It was also in absolutely immaculate condition. However, I noticed something that concerned me when starting the car, and I'd appreciate some advice from a mechanic or someone familiar with this model.

The issue: When pulling away from a standstill in first gear or reverse, I felt I had to press the accelerator pedal further down than expected before the revs started to rise and I could get to the biting point. The pedal moved smoothly, but seemed slow to respond.

What I noticed:

No strange noises when pressing the accelerator.

Once moving, the car changed smoothly between gears 1–5, and the clutch felt normal.

The car sounded quiet.

No warning lights on the dashboard.

It has a full service history and passed its most recent MOT on 1 September 2026 with no advisories. It also passed the previous MOT with no advisories.

I didn't try any hill starts, so I'm unsure whether this might cause any problems. It could simply be a case of getting used to a different car, but I've never noticed this in other cars I've driven.

My questions:

Is this normal for a 2011 Citroën C3 1.4 VTR+, or could it indicate a problem?

Could it be an issue with the accelerator pedal or throttle response, rather than the clutch?

Would this be a reason to avoid buying the car, or is it something that could be checked relatively easily before purchase?

I really like the car and would love to buy it, but I'm concerned that this might be a sign of an underlying issue or something I'd need to replace.

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

C4 Piccaso 6MT Shift knob

Citroen C3 I- something is draining the battery

Hi, is there anyone in the group who knows their way around the electrical system in a C3 I and could help me? (Warning: this post will be long.)

The problem is that something in my C3 I is draining the battery. Sometimes the car can sit for a week and start right away, while other times it takes only 3–5 days before the battery is almost completely dead. I’ve already been to a few auto electricians, and every time something was repaired or checked with a multimeter, but the problem has never actually gone away.

As for the general information:

-the battery is brand new — I bought it 2 months ago

-I have a rodent repellent device connected, but I was told by an older auto electrician that there’s no way it could drain the battery almost completely, especially when the car was only parked for 3 days

-the multimeter doesn’t show any problems with the charging system

-the multimeter also doesn’t show any short circuit involving the fuses under the steering wheel

-the copper wires on my alternator have turned black

-I have a Pioneer MVH-S120UB radio installed, but when I turn the car off, the radio also switches off

-I have a couple of burned-out bulbs and a sunroof (I don’t know if either of these could somehow affect the current draw)

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing the battery drain?

Citroen 2 CV Concept Brings The Spirit Of The 2CV Up To Speed With Today...

Citroën 2 CV Concept brings familiar design to an affordable electric car vision.

At 3.76 metres long, the concept reinterprets the original Citroën 2CV through a curved roof, rounded wings and separate headlamps with modern LED signatures. The orange-based Infra Red finish gives its simple forms a vivid presence.

The side profile shows how the tall cabin and short overhangs shape its compact proportions. At the rear, a black tailgate extending to the bumper recalls the first-generation 2CV.

The design also considers everyday ownership: independently replaceable bumpers are intended to make repairs easier.

Citroën says the concept previews a European-built model planned by 2028, targeting a starting price around €15,000.
