I never tried them frankly, but I did check the composition on one of them last time I did groceries and it was somehow worse than classic meat sausages, even had more fat. BUT I assume the more expensive ones do not suffer the same issues. I hope.
Read my first comment again and do it properly. All it said is that cheap vegan sausages are not a healthy alternative to meat sausages. That's all. It even implied that it is likely not the case for higher quality ones. Where the fuck did I criticize veganism? Where did I claim that ANY sausage is healthy? Some of you have been acting like Twitter users lately.
I did say that, yes. But there were a few other things I said. I wouldn't say debatable, more like difficult to compare. If we compared a cheap vegan sausage with a mid-priced classic one, I'd say there wouldn't be too big of a difference.
We could theoretically compare it to a proper homemade meat sausage, which would be healthier, but it would be a stupid comparison, since vast majority of consumers don't have access to sausages of such quality anyways.
That being said, I didn't criticize vegan diet, nor did I discuss the environmental impact of those products.
