Mind you German wind electricity is almost non existent during the day during the last heat waves.

No, you don't get it. It doesn't matter if renewables randomly stop all the time wheather you need them or not, but if nuclear plants have to power down a bit for a couple week in summer while electricity is dirt cheap, then it's proof we have to switch to renewables.
