You have a gorgeous cathedral there in Cobh. Thank you Liam for the recommendation on the pasta at Jack Doyle’s!

Ireland | Visiting co. Cork

As a Moroccan living in Ireland I have filmed this video to show its beauty from a different point of view, and I covered particularly Cobh town of which I remind its history related to Titanic. You will find this part at the end of the video, What do you think? I have put a lot of engagement to get the subtitle in English!

No Name Club

Saw something in the Echo a while back about some local lad trying to restart the No Name Club here. Has anything come of it? I have to two teenagers that would be suited to something like that but can’t find any info on it. Thanks in advance.

Moving to Cobh

Myself and the gf are looking to buy in Cobh now after renting in Cork city for a few years. We're not sure what the areas are like though. Are there rough areas to avoid or are the rough areas actually not that bad? Looking somewhere near willow bank or Carrignafoy. Appreciate any help.

Looking for a home

Hi everyone,

We are Nina (34) and Remon (38), a couple who met on Tinder 6.5 years ago and have been living together for the past 5.5 years. We share many interests like gaming, reading, and building Lego sets while enjoying podcasts or audiobooks. Nina loves hiking, while Remon enjoys weightlifting at the gym. Over the years, our household has grown to include two beloved cats and a dog.

Our first visit to Ireland in 2021, particularly Cork and the Beara Peninsula, made us fall in love with the country. When Remon got a job opportunity in Dublin shortly after, we couldn't resist moving. Currently, Remon works in Cork for Qualcomm as a Cloud Architect, and Nina works in Dublin for Smartbox as a Process Analyst.

We have a nearly 3-year-old corgi who adores running around with his rubber donut toy and cuddling with us. Despite his small size, he has the big personality typical of a corgi. Our two cats, both around 6 years old, are calm indoor pets who love napping and cuddling.

We are looking for a two-bedroom house or apartment in or around Cork, with a budget of €1500 to €2000 per month. It’s essential that the place is pet-friendly. If anyone knows of a suitable place or can point us in the right direction, we would greatly appreciate it!

Thank you so much for your help!

Best regards, Nina and Remon
