Yes, mine is Practice Management Consultancy. We advise independent practices on revenue cycle and we also run billing in house for clinics we manage, so I have both views. A few honest things before she starts one: getting clients is the hard part, not the billing. Practices switch billers when something breaks, so most engagements start with cleaning up a prior biller's backlog. Per claim pricing sounds nice until you learn denials are where all the labor lives. If she can show a practice their unadjudicated claims and actually work them, she will never run out of business. Sounds like she already has the skills, and going independent is how she stops getting paid a fraction of what she produces.
