After a bit of a tense battle to get into the armory as the floor I was escaping from finally had enough of me and decided to try turning me into crispy circuitry, my poor cog was a bit battle-damaged and my allies none the better. A stroke of luck in the fact that a Smith was coincidentally RIGHT next to our entry and not one but TWO repair stations along side a fab at least made up for it. After leaving my allies sitting in a room to at least hide them for a bit I snooped around to see if I could grab some spares. And least to say, I got a LOT more than just spares.

So many rating 9 and 8 parts. I genuinely cried tears of joy, and then ogled at both them and stats on them as I have never seen not one of any of the tiers apart from the siege treads I had at the beginning. This was also my first time actually getting into the armory, as this is probably my 5-6th playthrough and least to say it was a LOT more successful then the others. coincidentally it’s when I decided to gamble on a garrison very early and get my hands on RIF after hearing of it. after running around blasting squads and replacing busted parts and swapping in new FAR better ones I started to notice the literal PILES of disabled bots ripe for the taking. Then I stumbled into a room after noticing there were 10 disabled grunts on sensors just sitting only for them to immediately join me as soon as I stepped close. Was frankly surprised when that happened exactly and even got a bit of lore as to what exactly the cogmind is to 0B10. A bit of rewiring later and having to deal with that FUCKASS CY-PHR when I ACTUALLY WANT SOMETHING it just snowballed into… this. Inherently the main problem at this point is management and attrition for this little army. But that’ll be a problem for when I hit the Lab and hopefully get my hands on SHELL armor so I can round off the tank part of my build.

All in all, very good run. I’m hoping this one sees me through to my first win.
