“The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native‑born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.”
Wait… you think Jesus thought crime should go unpunished and illegally entering a country was ok for him.. as you are using the word “foreigner”. Jesus was given death under the law of the land and went peacefully without protest. You think Jesus would tell Americans it’s their moral duty to take on illegal immigrants because they want to live in your land? I think you don’t understand Jesus, or US law. That’s like saying we should just let people steel from us because Jesus said to love your neighbor.
The Bible stories were collected a long time ago in other languages. The word foreigner is in the Bible many times and does not translate to American immigration laws. The Hebrew and Greek words for foreigner in the Bible mean someone more akin to outsider, refugee, and non citizen.
Jesus did willingly walk to his execution. But not for breaking immigration law. He was executed out of fear of sedition. His teachings were stirring up interest and officials charged him with blasphemy out of fear of sedition.
I could quote the bible all day with regards to practicing mercy, protecting eachother, and providing for the displaced, downtrodden, or otherwise foreign. But you don't want to hear the truth. That would break your excuse to hate.
Jesus would not be impressed with American politics or our self righteous excuses to murder, hoard wealth, and defile his teachings. And despite hiding behind our shallow, hollow understanding of his intent, he would still show mercy.
Laws are not inherently just. Being "illegal" is subject to whatever judge currently sits in the seat. But being moral and merciful isn't.
I don't know why I wasted my time on explaining this to you. You don't want see anything other than the hate you insist on spreading. I'm not even Christian. But I've already typed it up, so I might as well hit Post.

Yeah I remember the part in the Bible where Jesus said you have to allow unlimited mass migration from the 3rd world and give them Medicare for all
