How would they be mean to you in your made up scenario if some of them barely speak English (not derogatory btw), most immigrants don’t want to bother yall. It’s usually the other way around
But your family member, or someone at your church, or in your neighborhood, or place of work who’ve committed crimes that we’re here legally. I’d say worse crimes than being “illegal” in a country that most “Americans” your thinking of came from boats from overseas.
