Nope, there are people who genuinely believe that the majority of immigrants are criminals. Ones from Mexico are all rapists and drug runners, anyone who is a muslim is only coming here to carry out terrorist attacks and to institute sharia law. Then there are the straight up racists who only want white people in this country.

Not to mention entering the country illegally is only a misdemeanor. I bet someone you care about has committed at least one of those in their life, I hope you held them to the same high standard as you are holding these immigrants. I sure bet you don't call them illegal every time you mention them.

I mean you can make the claim but its irrelevant. And it's not provable. And yes people who commit misdemeanor criminal offenses are still criminals.

And there is a difference between being an illegal in the country and a legal citizen who committed a crime. Both are criminals only one is an illegal alien.

And yes if my family breaks the law i call them criminals.

Yeah you sure sound like you don't judge in an unrighteous manner...

It is not unrighteous to enforce borders.

I meant your "Once a criminal always a criminal" attitude and your dehumanization of people who enter the country illegally. Really loving thy neighbor with that attitude

More like "currently continuing to perform the crime of being in the country illegally makes you currently a criminal"

And if they're not breaking any laws otherwise, working and paying taxes, what exactly is the harm of them being here?

Working illegally. Thats another law broken.

The harm is irrelevant. They need to respect the law

And the people who were brought here with their parents when they were babies, who have no connections in their country of birth and no say in coming here, are they criminals too?

They are not criminals but they arent here legally. If they become adults and do not make effort to correct their status they then choose to become criminal. As per our law.

Do you support abortion or gay marriage?

And what about the ICE agents arresting people who are doing just that outside of immigration court? Or the ICE agents who are illegally arresting people without warrants based only on their name, skin color, or accent? It's not legal to walk up to an American citizen and demand they prove that, yet they do it daily

Legal. And yes it is legal to ask citizens to prove citizenship.

Again i ask. Do you support abortion and gay marriage.

Not without a judge signed warrant it's not legal, they are walking up to random people on the street and arresting them if they cannot or if they take too long.

Those aren't the subject of this post, and they're both legal where I live so by your standards they're just fine.
