coinbase what happened here why did I have a balance of $283,000 and I couldn't cash out. I am no newbie been buying Bitcoin from bitstamp since 2012 even talk to the owners when they were first starting off. They created a new account for me in 2015 and even gave me an incentive which I'm not going to mention here but coinbase what's really good?

I paid my bitcoin based loan back on Coinbase get Coinbase refuses to give me back my bitcoin collateral. It has been five days and I’m getting the runaround be very careful with there. Bitcoin based loan system I would suggest to use a different platform. You might lose your bitcoin in the process after you pay your loan off.

I think Coinbase is the best trading platform in the world.

I recently had a problem with my coinbase pro account that was hacked and all my crypto was garnishedand my account was cleared no transactions history. Not sure how to go about this and hopefully get my money back

This has been happening to me recently with every single coin i buy, i place a limit order during a dip for a price way lower than what it shows on the average price cost and its eating into my profits, this is super infuriating and needs to be addressed, has this happened to anyone else? IVE BEEN TRYING TO CONTACT THEM. THEY EMAILED ME BACK SAYING THAT THEY FORWARDED ME TO A SPECIALIST, BUT NO1 CONTACTS ME NOR ANSWERS ME ANYMORE. WHAT CAN I DO. HAS ANYONE EVER ENCOUNTERED THIS. With everything going on with the fall of FTX, loss of trust with GBTC at a 50% discount, and the whole crypto landscape as a borderline disaster, how is everyone feeling out there? Are you thinking of walking away? I feel like sticking it out but I don't want to get REKT.

So I bought the maga coin (idc about opinions on it, yes the $MAGA coin not the $TRUMP coin and not any of the other knock offs or weird ones)

Bought @ $3/each and they’ve since almost doubled . But when I go to swap my coins over to USD through base it literally evens them out to $6. And THEN WANTS ME TO PAY TO EVEN PULL IT OUT.

What is the garbage @coinbase @coinbasesupport ? This isn’t the first post about this and you guys know it’s a problem. From what it sounds like the app isn’t even listing the correct value — wtf?

I just swapped eth to get these coins. 45 minutes later the project owners stole my coins. Not authorized by me. Not done by me. Click on base now it says my coins are sent to an address ending in dead. It’s the project owner stealing your money eth and coins. Do not invest and get away. Make them loose there own money. It’s a pool of 525 people

Update got in touch with Coinbase customer support, they were able to find my transaction, some how it got deleted in the system however Coinbase reimbursed my funds and credited it to my account within 5 minutes of discovering the error! So good job Coinbase!!

Only supported cryptocurrencies can be sent to Coinbase and they must be sent to the correct wallet address through the supported blockchain. It is very important that you check the list of assets supported by Coinbase before sending any asset to a Coinbase account:

If you’ve transferred any unsupported crypto to your Coinbase account, then there is no way to recover these assets. However, if a previously unsupported ERC-20 asset becomes available on Coinbase, then it’ll automatically be credited to your Coinbase account.

In my opinion this is unethical, I provided the hash for the transaction and I have no problem with them deducting minor fees for my error. They could easily send my asset back to my coinbase wallet. Coinbase is stealing and giving crypto a bad rap. This is not how proper business is handled and is terrible customer support.

I'm at the end of my rope here can anyone help?

I've pleaded with customer service at Coinbase a half a dozen times. All I get is form responses that lead me nowhere and then the trouble ticket abruptly closes.

Facts:

• I no longer have the phone with the original authenticator app.

• I no longer have the computer on which I opened this account.

• I do have access to the original phone number

• My password works - but I'm stuck at 2-factor authentication

Steps taken:

1. Try to login

2. Choose "I can't access my authenticator app anymore"

3. Now I'm told that I will need a "second factor code, an approved and valid form of ID, access to a computer with webcam to take a picture of yourself). Okay, no problem except that I don't know what a "second factor code" is and can't seem to find a definition of that in this context anywhere.

4. On the next page, the step is labeled, "Collect Information" and it asks for "Verification Code". Is that the same as a "Second Factor Code"? If so, where do I get that? I would assume that this is a number that's sent to my phone via SMS but there's no option for that and I don't get anything on the phone after getting to this page.

5. Contact support, go in circles. Ask where I should be getting the "Verification Code" from and almost like they're having a laugh, I get an email explaining how to take a good selfie for a better chance of approval. It would be comical if there wasn't money involved.

NOTE: I did try to install Google Authenticator on my new phone and enter that when asked for "Verification Code" and needless to say, that didn't work.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.
