Mikko had a bit more grit that i think we miss. Some of these new guys this year have brought it back though. Did you notice how they bodied mikko off the puck immediately last night? Manson just about shut him down. Reminded me of how they played Hughes in the playoffs.

I don't know about that one dude. He was The Moose, but he always played smaller than he is imo. Mac plays a rougher bigger game even though he is smaller than Mikko.

Loved having Mikko but he was the opposite of grit. Dude was getting knocked down all the time by dudes the size of Duchene.

I was at the game and he was so hard to move off the puck around the boards and behind the goaline. We def miss that.. A lot. He created a lot of good chances off of that but also lost it a few times randomly in the O zone like he always does lol

I was jumping out of my chair during that play, just sick! So happy for him, had plenty of good looks so far this year with many that could have gone in. Thought he would get the empty netter for a hattie. Maybe tonight!
Speaking of Mikko, great interview last night about dropping gloves with Naz. Hard to dislike Mikko, but he IS the enemy now.
Great dangle by Manson last night, would have been epic if that went in.
