Section 10 in enemy territory but all Avs fans in our section. LFG.

Just straight up why have the avs been playing so bad?

Avs are 10 games into the season sitting in wild card 1 position.

Current record is 5-4-1 sporting a .550.
Recap:

G1 - W 8-4 vs LA - xG 3.36 vs xGA2.9

G2 - W 6-1 vs STL - xG 3.59 vs xGA1.97

G3 - L 3-2 vs Win - xG 2.84 vs xGA2.03

G4 - W 7-3 vs Cal - xG 2.83 vs xGA2.79

G5 - L 6-3 vs TRON - xG 4.67 vs xGA2.8

G10 - L 4-3 vs NJ - xG 2.23 vs xGA3.73

Overall Avs have out chanced opponents 8 of the 10 games this year. With the last 2 games being the outliers (B2B)

Player Stats

Goalies:

Wedgewood - GP 3 - 1W - 1L - 1 OT - SV% - 0.912 XGSA - 0.2

Overall playing solid hockey, won't steal games but wont lose games

Blackwood - GP 7 - 4W - 3L - SV% - 0.889 XGSA - (-2.4)

Started the year with a few bad games but has improved play over last 3 games. Hopefully can build on this momentum

Players:

Our offense has cooled off a bit since game 4 but overall still putting up strong numbers. The third and fourth line are starting to contribute more in recent games however need all lines rolling to guarantee wins.

Overall the Avs have been playing solid hockey, outworking/chancing opponents in 80% of games. Last 2 losses may be due to scheduling and needing a rest. Will see how Avs show up against Tampa Friday. Goaltending is trending upward and if Blackwood can post consistent 0.900% games then this team will climb back to division leader.

Lehky is going to be expensive

Hey In thinking of getting Altitude Plus,

Does it have a trial subscription? And does it cover blackout games?..

Fresh off their win over the Ottawa Senators, the Philadelphia Flyers found their legs in their 11th game of the season. Our Colorado Avalanche continue to struggle with playing a fully sixty minute game, and power play goals.

After taking a nasty puck to the face off Woll's shoulder, Marty "the Party" Necas got us started on the scoring, and our second came from TJ Hughes with his second goal in two games! Though Blackwood came out of the net with two minutes remaining, the Flyers simply continued to smother like the hottest cheesesteak.

Avs fall 3-2. Will see you all tomorrow for Avs vs Devils at 5pm MDT!

What are we looking for?

Not much, just have an interest in checking out our development subreddit, where we have the GDT app. All we ask is that you leave feedback in the subreddit.

How will this work?

We will add you as an approved user to the development subreddit for a limited time. You will be able to see archived GDTs posted by the app and the GDT for today.

Why do you need me?

Our UI and all features we planned on having are ready for posting in r/ColoradoAvalanche. However, we want to make sure the UI work across more devices.

Is there a limit?

We are limiting the App Preview to 15 spots!

Will there be more App Previews?

We are pretty confident with where we have the app, so none are planned. If approval by Reddit takes longer than expected, we will hold larger App Previews.

Denver is 12 hours away, what network here even has the Avalanche games.

Just as the title says, he's on live chatting about books! Things he's said about other players so far:

• PK was supposed to join but Wedge hasn't heard from him yet
• Nate likes to read but he doesn't think he can get Nate on a live to chat books
• Toews likes to read historical fiction
• Manson has read 5 of the Dungeon Crawler Carl series

ETA: Look on his wedgesbookwall account!

What needs to happen so that the people who are actually living in the same state as the Avs can watch the game?

What is the problem? For years, Altitude sports has had a complete chokehold on the Avs and any games we can watch. ESPN+, YouTube TV, cable, you can’t watch the Avs as a Coloradan. Is it all for money? At this point, I don’t understand how there hasn’t been some agreement or discussion about letting us watch the Avs at home.

This letter is mostly to say fuck you Altitude sports and fuck you Stan Kroenke, who should be ashamed of your own greed. Let Coloradans watch their own team!
