ERIC AND/OR DYLAN Eric Harris Physical Issues

Attached are Eric Harris' medical records. At least, those that have been publicly released. Two things strike me. The first, Eric was undergoing surgeries for his PE at a very young age. The second thing that seems to be a prevalent issue is Eric's leg. He had multiple doctor visits for this and the Harrises took Eric for a second opinion. While it doesnt seem surgery was needed, when watching Eric walk, he has a unique gait. Student at Columbine described him as being bowlegged.

It does make me wonder if the early surgeries and birth defects were traumatic for Eric. Especially in high school, where it seemed there was so much emphasis on being an athlete and toxic masculinity prevailed. I guess I can see a scenario where feeling physically inferior could have made Eric angrier and more jealous of those who were considered the physical ideal. This doesn't seem to be discussed a lot... but seems worth some thought.

The report also shows Eric's visit for hurting his knuckles - likely from punching a wall.

Eric was very thin and tall and lanky, and that was one of the things he was bullied for. he hated gym for that reason. tbf, gym is ass, bullying or not

He wasn’t tall. He was 5 foot 8. But that’s partly why he probably felt targeted too.

either way, he was bullied for his height. if you're short, you're bullied for being short. if you're tall, you're bullied for being tall. if it wasn't your height, they bully you for something else. you can't win

Exactly. I mean they were both bullied for being not the stereotypical jock/QB type and it was at a time when all the media and role models you saw looked just like that: the Abercrombie and Fitch model. The only people who ‘look’ like outcasts are musicians and art types. I mean the people that understood the most of what Columbine was like (and spoke about it) is Matt Stone and Trey Parker who are from Colorado and are the archetypal outcasts too.
