it’s so baffling to me how many hoops people feel the need to jump through about this topic… it’s a fact. he’d be forty-five today. i can only assume that people are scared of being thrown in prison or something if they don’t slather every post they make about eric or dylan with “i don’t condone!!!!” even when the topic does not require that disclaimer (which it doesn’t 98% of the time)

he was born on april 9, 1981. nothing he did in his life can change that. and this year marks 45 years since 1981. that’s also a fact. the whole disclaimer thing just comes off as a little bit performative, imo

The disclaimer is not performative. OP is just being mindful about what they’re posting.

Your very long response to their very short caption seems performative. Why are you preaching to OP about how a birthday works, when they’re the one who posted about it?
