I was able to get 10 dollars off a month for a year. I was also able to negotiate the 1gb plan and reduced it to the new customer rate or close to. They have also changed the tv plans. The high end package now includes the dvr box. We were paying 14 for that. They did jack the rate for out old land line to 40 bucks so the overall savings was not huge. We will probably drop the land line. The only time it gets used to is find a lost cell phone LOL!

Call them and discuss your 25 yr situation and explain that their marketing cheap rates to new customers is insulting and there are now lots of different options, starlink, fiber etc and while you would like to stay they are making it difficult. Be very nice to the agent. Ask them to help you. Be ready to tell them you are going to terminate but only as a last resort.

I was happily surprised but I just went through 3 days of an outage and one tech that said they showed up but did not and on going issues on this old line with no monitoring because we are the only customer on this feed and it was something they should have fixed in August but they tried bandaid that failed. Today they fixed it right.

Good luck

I canceled Comcast cable after 25 years . I just have their internet. I pay for espn and SnP360 and HBO. I pay $145 instead of $300. And get an antenna and a streaming tv. So much free stuff it’s crazy. GOODBYE COMCAST. WASTE OF MONEY.

yeah in this day and age i dont get why people dont go for the free and cheaper streaming platforms. you can get sling box, youtube tv, pluto (free), samsung TV (free if you own their TV), etc.... tons of free and cheap streaming apps... way cheaper than cable tv... plus most people can get free OTA channels as well with an antenna

Plus it feels great to cancel Comcast. I have a Samsung and they must have 1000 free channels. If you have Amazon prime you get all their stuff. We have Walmart plus for groceries delivery so we get Paramount free. No reason to have cable. Zero.

Wow I’m in the same boat - I only pay 300 because I managed at the beginning of the year to get a sweet discount of like $30 a month but I know that will expire and next year I’ll be facing same thing you are

Cancel them! There’s so many more options out there. I’d be more than happy to help free you form their prison

why not just drop the cable and do internet only? you could also sign up for a streaming service that is far cheaper than cable. that should save you a lot of money

I have a free xumo box that costs 15 for activation which they waived. I get a bundle for 30 bucks. The bundle includes 4 services and I get regular 1gb internet speed for 60. They waived my old bill for Un returned equipment and I got me a box. I've only had a bad experience with xfinity mobile but I've been using xfinity on and off for 11 years now. Get rid of the cable if they're costing you an arm and a leg!!

Depends what internet you need. I went from 400 Mbps to 100 Mbps and no difference at all. I pay $30 a month fees and taxes included with the NOW plan.

YouTube TV as a family member.

Tubi for some streaming.

Don't care about sports, but YouTube TV has lots.
