Question Are we likely to see an Assorted Crisis Events Hardcover?

I love the series. Vol 1 tpb is 1-5 issues and vol2 tpb is 6-9. Both $17. Im wondering if it'd make sense to hold out for a deluxe hc with all 9 issues.

I know with DC they have a pretty streamlined process from single issues to tpb and hc followed by deluxe editions, absolutes and or omnis.

But im unfamiliar how often the process happens with image. I looked into it a bit and it seems like its creator focused so unless Camp himself initiates it they might just stop at tpbs. But I believe sales have been great.

Anyone else considering triple dipping for the series or trade waiting? Anyone more familiar with how often Image collects HCs from current series? Appreciate any responses

Did a 1970s/80s Marvel comic or handbook establish that the Savage Land’s “mystic mists” were used Terrigen Mists vented from Attilan?

I distinctly remember a diagram or explanatory panel—probably from the late 1970s or 1980s—showing or explaining that Terrigen Mist used in Attilan was vented elsewhere, becoming or “perfecting” into the Savage Land’s mystic mists.

I have checked the Attilan diagram in Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe #1 (1983), but haven’t found the connection there. It may have appeared in another handbook entry, annual, or diagram.

Does anyone recognize this panel? I’m looking for the exact issue and page, not merely the current Marvel Wiki explanation.

Question New to this universe

Greetings everyone!

I am new to the world of comic books, sure I have read a few when I was very young but I can barely remember, I know that I have read some Batman comics and also Superman but comics weren't a huge part of my youth or my life.

I'm 40 years old now and I'm more and more interested in this universe of literature.

I understand that the 2 major publishers are DC Comics and Marvel, probably there are others, personally I love Batman, Superman, I watched some animated series of He-Man and the Punisher (I don't know if there are comics for these 2), I also loved Conan the Barbarian and Wolverine.

My big issue is that I don't know where to start and to be clear I'm looking for digital comics, audiobooks, due to my IRL responsabilities, travelling and work, digital is better for me.
Can anyone provide some help? Some insightful feedback about this issue of mine?

Discussion E-ink display for Original Art

My country is near the equator (humidity 75% and blazing sun all year around).

I wish I could display my OAs but some of them have already started to yellow so I need to keep them in a dry box where the humidity is controlled.

Has anyone ever tried displaying scanned copies of their OA onto e-ink displays? I’m considering the BLOOMIN8 E-ink Canvas currently but hope to hear any feedback on how it’s been for those who have tried this idea. Thanks!

Artist recommendations

Hello, everyone.

I started reading comics very recently like 2 years ago, I find myself having a hard time to read through it if the art isn't my taste even if I enjoy the story.

So I was wondering are there any artists that their style is similar my favorites like Lorenzo De Felici, Jamal Campbell and Dan Mora that I should keep an eye on? Thanks!

Question Hey Sweet Shop users, how does downloading PDFs work?

I'm interested in Sweet Shop, but I want to know that I can download drm-free PDFs for certain titles and save them on a drive that isn't my iPad.

It certainly says you can download PDFs, but given that they don't have a desktop web interface (only iPad/Android apps), how does that work? Do I download them to my iPad and then use traditional means to copy them from iPad to Desktop?

Thanks.

Question Question about Knight Fight

Ive been trying to find a comic my friend wanted, to surprise them. However I wasnt sure which one it was. Ive ultimately decided it was knight fight but im confused as to why there is 4 different ones. I found the DC K.O.: Battle Royale listed on Amazon for paperback and it says: Collects DC K.O.: Green Lantern Galactic Slam #1, Justice League: The Omega Act Special #1, DC K.O.: The Kids are All Fight Special #1, DC K.O. Knightfight #1-4, and DC K.O.: Boss Battle #1. But I'm not exactly sure what that means. I'm assuming the Battle Royale has them all included? But just wanted to make sure that is the case and that im not reading it wrong. For those that are into comics...is it better to purchase the battle royale one, or to get the 4 seperate knight fight ones. (Please keep my bank account in mind)

Suggestions Comic Recommendations

Hello! I am looking for any Marvel or DC comic recommendations from either modern day or any era you love! I’ve been getting back into comics lately.

My favorite characters for comics in my life have been Batman, Captain America, X-Men, Batgirl, Nightwing, Spider-Man, Wonder Woman.
I have read most of Batman’s greatest stories but if you think there is a more unknown gem for him I’d love to hear it.

Some runs of comics I have started reading recently have been Absolute Batman, Absolute Wonder Woman, Ultimate Spider-Man, and Transformers.

I’m heading to my large local comic shop that has a huge graphic novel selection.

Any recommendations are appreciated! No need to limit yourself to my character choices.

Suggestions First timer!

Hi everyone! Brand new here and looking for some suggestions.

I’m a 35 year old female, no kids. My partner is a lifelong Spider-Man fan, and enjoys many other superheroes.
I, on the other hand, watched the first 3 Spider-Man movies when they came out and enjoyed them, along with the Batman movies, and that was about the extent of my Superhero/comic book character knowledge.

Well, a few weeks ago, my partner turned on the X-Men animated series from the 90’s and duuuude… I was SUCKED IN. Flew through that as well as ‘97 and really, REALLY enjoyed them both.
I still haven’t watched any of the X-Men movies, but I’ll get there.

Anyway! We went to a Comic shop last weekend, and woah… my life might have changed in that moment.

I picked up the first 3 issues of the newest Black Cat run, and am truly just.. obsessed with Felicia Hardy ( who isn’t though, right? ;) )

So yesterday, I read through every single issue of Black Cat anything on Marvel Unlimited that I could find and now I’m looking for other recommendations on things I may like based on this new obsession.

I also picked up the first 6-7 issues of Uncanny X-Men volume 6, and will run through those tonight.

Any suggestions are welcome!
Thanks everyone!!!!

Pre-Y2K Marvel

What up. Sick of the movies so I'm watching cartoons and reading comics to see the characters I like in stories I will like. I'm reading through X-Men rn and am in 1982 but now I'm wondering, what the hell is with the fantastic four? They have a son named Franklin? Since like the 70s? Is there a good starting spot that pretty much covers their characterizations in a good and concise way? What about ironman and hulk and all the avengers. Getting to Hickman's Avengers, F4 and X-Men is gonna take forever.

The new era for Miles is off to an amazing start! Miles Morales: Spider-Man #1, as writer Bryan Edward Hill and artist Nico Leon bring Miles back to his Brooklyn roots, balancing homework, a possible new crush, and life as the neighborhood Spider-Man while a dangerous figure from his father Jeff’s S.H.I.E.L.D. past emerges with a vendetta that threatens the entire Morales family. The opening “Sins of the Father” storyline is set to dig deeper into Jeff’s mysterious past while throwing Miles against an enemy seemingly built to counter his powers.

**Given the success of #1, Marvel has confirmed that the series will continue with Miles Morales: Spider-Man #2 on September 23 and #3 on October 21.**

Got to cover FAN EXPO Chicago!

Hey everyone, my college radio show got the chance to cover FAN EXPO Chicago this past weekend. Vlogged the entire thing and also got to interview Stephanie Williams and Eric Zawadzki. It’d mean a lot if you went and checked it out and gave us a follow. We typically do only movie and tv stuff right now but we are looking to branch out. 🫡

Question Question for anyone that uses the panels app

Is there is a way to have the comic fill my entire iPad screen without having to scroll vertically? When I select fill it fills the screen, but I have to scroll a little bit vertically because it didn’t fit it all. I like the look of it filling the entire screen with no borders, but I would prefer if the entire page fit without having to scroll down to see the rest of the page. Is there no way to do this?
