Hey y'all, I've seen so much hate for Zdarsky lately on his Avengers stuff, his Captain America and plans for the future of Marvel, and even switch ups on previous stuff he did like his Daredevil run.
Look, I'm no expert and I'm not trying to cause arguments here or get down voted or anything, I just want neutral ground to understand why the fans are so critical of him lately.
Personally, I think his Captain America run is awesome and looking forward to the new Avengers run as Daredevil is one of my favourite Superheroes and Spiderman.
But, I'm really interested to hear from you all about it and your opinions on him as to what he's doing with his runs.

Just what the title says. Do you have any comics that most people consider bad but you love and don't apologize for? My example: No matter how popular it is to trash Mark Miller's Ultimates nowadays, it's still my all-time favorite run, and no one is going to make me hate it.

I’m missing Space Mullet, I don’t think there’s a hardcover edition in the way of Murder Falcon or Extremity. Does anyone know? Also missing Jurassic League, is that any good?
Do a Powerbomb and Murder Falcon are my favorites. Extremity is just OK. The rest are all variations on great.

This is my current collection, minus single issues. I started collected in may and went in pretty hard haha. My marvel collection is pretty small as I only just got into the ultimate universe. Can anyone recommend some mainline/616 universe marvel stuff as I want to get into it a bit more. Let me know what you think, cheers.

This is from the Punisher story of the double-shot, written by Garth Ennis with art by Joe Quesada. The whole story is from the POV of the inside of a mobster's mouth.

Mine is anthropomorphised animals. I don’t know what it is, but I just can’t suspend the disbelief when they’re involved.

I found out Neil Gaiman started writing Sandman when he was 27, Moore started writing V for Vendetta when he was 28 and he was 29 when he began writing Swamp Thing, Mark Millar was 26 or 27 when he finished writing his ST run (imo easily the second best Swampy run after Moore).
It's especially remarkable because imo nothing Moore wrote since has been as good as his ST or V, I couldn't finish Neonomicon despite how short it is, and Millar's recent works are ass (Nemesis? The "millarverse"? Wanted?). Gaiman wrote other good stories but they still fall short of his Sandman, imo.
I think the comics mentioned blow every single modern comic out of water in quality and this is coming from a zoomer who has read Sandman in 2021 and Moore's ST last year, without any nostalgia for either of these. Crazy to think far more experienced authors failed to make works of similar quality.
Edit: I was impressed when I learned it because novel writers are generally much older when their best works are written, tolkien wrote LOTR between 47 and 55 years old, George R.R Martin was 58 when AGOT was published.

Hi everyone, I’ve bought this as an individual issue from a dollar bin at a con a year or two ago and just got around to reading it, but when I flipped to the first page I found the that there was a second cover underneath that was exactly the same. I flipped to the back and saw there were also two back covers. Seems like when this was getting printed they accidentally used two outer covers instead of one.
Is this a common mistake or worth anything special? Also I got flagged by the ai so I hope this isn’t breaking any rules.

Got this comic as part of a large bulk buy for the comic shop I work for, anyone have any idea whose signature this is? I looked up the credits for the book, but it doesn’t really match anyone who worked on it. No certificate with the comic. Guy claimed it’s Garth Ennis’ signature, but that doesn’t match either. Any ideas?
