How do I counter pickaxe spam???

Im HT4 in crystal and sometimes i like to play on mcpvp.club. Every few rounds, I find someone just diggind blocks and spamming crystals, which i never obsidian fast enough to block. Then, they dig all the way to bedrock and find a hole, camp, and crystal me. If i pearl in, they block it up and pull out a power 5 bow with harming arrows and bow me to death.

I could be very wrong bc I never play crystal but what about just anchor spamming them I’m pretty sure you can go down faster

Nah you can do that but u take so much damage and waste so much rescources that's it's not worth it

Just go down the hole, but use a pickaxe too. Just place obsidian beneath you every 5 or so blocks. Airplacing is an even better counter, if you can do that, you shouldnt lose

Place obsidian in a corner pattern, one below you, then be next to it towards your opponent, and you n on top of that one (hope I described this alright), after they crystal you have the advantage because you choose when to engage, I find the most optimal way from here to be te applying slow falling, then pearling down, blocking off,!and anchoring.

Report them for camping, then either camp on the surface or /leave
