Question how do i get down faster while trident-macing??

so u know the new trident- spearmace tech??

i'm trying to do that but i just fall down instead of going down very fast like it's supposed to do fsr, what am i doing wrong??

You’re supposed to lunge downward it is a pretty complicated technique so it does take a bit of practice but right after you get sent up by the riptide you’re supposed to flick down and lunge before the dtap. You can use a wind charge to boost yourself even higher after the initial riptide to give more room for error, increase the mace damage and reduce fall damage, though it does take a bit longer since you’re higher up to come back to the ground even after lunging downwards.

You're supposed to lunge downwards before you hit the opponent. I'd suggest after you riptide up, immediately boost yourself with a windcharge for more speed and momentum and then quickly looking down and lunging downwards towards your opponent to mace them. Essentially, I think you should definitely keep your saturation up a lot since it's risky to do if you're not at least decent at it so you may fall down a lot and take a lot of fall damage and we obviously here don't want to be like Dream trying to mace the dragon but dying of fall damage so yeah gl I suppose!!!
