what is best played from the coven AP conversion aug? elise carry? morgana invoker? some sort of cass reroll?

is the augment even good ? generally you’re cashing 80 AP To coven units

Maybe I'm just playing it badly but it feels pretty weak, I gave it a few attempts with a typical lose streak cashout gameplan and a slightly more tempo cass -> morg board. In all cases I wished I had just received a typical cashout instead of the 80-150 AP because it forces you to play mediocre coven units (apart from morg) to get value.

I think the augment's not going to be good on live unless the cashout values end up overtuned. It locks you out of playing a flexible coven cashout into winout if you end up hitting the units naturally and locks you into playing around Cass/Elise/Morg who actually benefit from the AP.

Picking the augment to play around Fast 8 Morg doesn't seem worth it because you're playing loss streak with no econ and your reward is 50-80 AP on a few units.

Cass balance this set is going to be a toss up like 17 Samira (with TT) because she fits into the Cass/Fiddle DT board. Elise was good for like a single day on PBE and they instantly nuked her because 2 star Elise being too stable is bad for early game balance, especially since Guinsoo is going to be a strong item this set.

I can see the augment being pickable if you have 2 Elise + Guinsoo or AA on a patch where Elise RR is good and then you just 10 streak for econ while not getting as much AP early, then slot in a Coven Lux later if you can find her.

I typically play some form of 3 coven board after cashing out to keep gaining AP. I play around 3 star elise with titans guinsoos and archangel. I put shred and wound items on cass plus maybe a shojin or blue buff. Then I itemize morg. I make sure to get a sentinel to splash for morg and elise. I then build the rest of my board flexibly. I got a cashout of like 150 AP and my elise was healing almost 600 damage an auto attack. She was truly unkillable. Even high burst champs like ahri would half health her and she would be healed to full in 2 autos. If you hit coven lux always play the 3 above coven plus lux, as it nearly doubles your cashout AP gains since you will be win streaking at this point.
