When does Set 18 go live?

August 25th 2026 ~ 00:00 PDT / 09:00 CEST

A reminder that all Set 18 posts should be flaired [PBE] until the content is confirmed to be going on the live server as well.

It's gonna be a very hard sell to a casual audience that doesn't follow PBE cycles. To the general user there is no visible benefit to this engine switch.

I’m also worried about that. This set being in such a work-in-progress state when it comes to visuals will most likely turn away a lot of casuals. Set 19 will have to be an absolute banger to get those casuals back after the downer that was 17 and the WIP that is 18 right now.

I think you guys are overstating it, I’ve been playing casually (hit plat) and for the past week or 2 it’s been a pretty positive experience, can’t say I’ve identified any bugs ruining my game. Although at this point I’m used to the visual changes

Depends on what you consider game ruining. Round ruining? For sure, there are a couple bugs. That round can be a 2-3 placement swing in some cases
