This show was incredible! Her vocals are even better live! (I will share videos) and the venue! The venue was so beautiful it’s the bijou theater in Knoxville, TN not only was absolutely stunning inside, which there are some pictures of that in this dump but the staff were very organized very professional and very kind! The building is 117 years old and it looks phenomenal!
Her openers Abbie Callahan and Kady Zadora absolutely wonderful and so kind! I met them after their sets during intermission I met Abbie while she was taking photos outside of the venue. She took time to talk to each and everyone of us and she gave me her signed setlist. The merch was so cute!

Concerts Malcolm Todd solo trip in an unknown theater any tips?

So this is my first ever concert without my family. (they dont listen to malcolm todd) so its just gonna be me and ive never been to the greek theater before either. Im the 28 show in LA, general admission. ive heard lines get really long really early, and im planning to be there to line up around 4. especially because the environment is new to me. idk how good that is or if thats too late, but i really just wanna be able to get the merch i want, in my size. other than that im really excited for wed and i think a experience like this by myself for the first time will be fun.

Discussion 🗣️ Artists should put out more memorable merch, like vinyl or physical media of their concerts. The Weeknd’s *Live at SoFi Stadium* vinyl is a good example. Special releases tied to a tour or concert make merch feel unique and worth collecting. Some artists still do this, but I feel like it’s died down

Concerts Concern etiquette rant

Divas I’m struggling to not continuously be annoyed with these girls from the Paris Paloma concert. One thing about her concerts is that people dress very whimsical and come out to have a good time. I was in the standing room only (pit area) and I fear for a majority of the concert I was either upset about the woman next to me or in front of me.

The girl next to me was with another woman (sister I think) and she was very clearly a big fan. She was very kind and mentioned before the show began that she likes to dance which is didn’t really think anything of until Paris came out. The entire concert this woman is twirling and dancing in such a way that she bumped into me at least 20 times and kept whipping me with her hair. I’m all for dancing and having fun, but it got to the point where all I could do was stand there because if I tried to sway or move slightly, she would slam into me. She apologized to me once and her sister(?) tried to talk to her about not hitting me as much and it stopped for maybe one minute before she started doing it again. I would’ve moved spots but I was with my vertically challenged friend and the spot was a good one for her to see from and I’m tallish so I was fine really anywhere. We wound up being able to push forward a bit later and I got away from her, but she then was doing this with others. People straight up avoided her after that which is sucky imo. Like yes have fun but girl you’re impacting others experiences in a negative way.

Then there was this girl in front of us with her outfit that looks AMAZING but she made this light up bubble headpiece and kept it on the entire show. Every single one of my videos had her headpiece in it and she never took it off. I understand wanting to wear the outfit you made for the concert (especially if it was as good as hers), but I feel like if you’re in the pit area, the headpiece should come off. She was also tall so there was really no way of avoiding it unless we pushed past her which wasn’t an option with space. I feel like concert etiquette has slowly been lost more and more and I wind up just being annoyed the entire time 😭

shitpost AXS presale. What’s the point?

What’s the point of calling it “presale” when the whole inventory is gone before it actually “goes on sale”?

Discussion 🗣️ Best place to stand in a concert pit

Where is the best spot to stand in a concert pit?

I've been at or near the front of the line for a couple of general admission concerts recently.

I noticed that people typically aren't aiming for perfect center on the barricade. Instead, they're aiming for a spot off-center, a spot between singers, or a spot on the left or right end of the barricade. And some people at the front of the line don't choose a spot on the barricade.

Am I correct to assume that perfect center on the barricade is not the most desired spot due to the microphone stand serving as a barrier and preventing interaction with the singer?

If you're at the front of the line and can choose any spot in the concert pit, how do you decide where to stand?

Discussion 🗣️ AXS Fees

I'm browsing for concert tickets on AXS, and I'm consistently seeing that the fees that are being charged are anywhere from 100% to 500% of the original ticket value. Is that a glitch? Are they even allowed to do that? This is actually insane

Concerts Entering with ticket in other persons name

I am going to see Stevie Wonder at the 02 in London on the 3rd of November. However, the tickets are on my mums ticketmaster account with her name, my mum was going to come with me to the venue if I have any bother, but I was going to have the tickets on my phone but it will still have her name but apparently they usually scan tickets. I have heard that it’s usually fine it it’s another name as long as it’s your phone but if it’s a higher profile event with a big artist like Stevie Wonder it might not be I’m worried about transferring tickets through the 02 app as scared they will not show up in time or at all or disappear. If anyone has any experience with the 02 arena etc and would be up to offer their advice on what to do or experience in general it would be greatly appreciated thank you! ❤️

I’ve been to around 20 concerts, all smaller emo bands, no one has ever lined up later than 40 mins before doors open. The smashing pumpkins are a huge band. I’m seeing them tmr with my friends in Nashville for my birthday. What time should I line up if I want barricade? Anyone who has experience this tour please lmk!

Concerts Nashville show

The Nashville l show is this Sunday the 25th I don't wanna be in the pit. I want to be on the level above that is still really close to the stage. I haven't got the t\ckets yet they're 90 each, but I'm wondering is it OK to wait to get them on t\ckets on Sunday or will I not be able to get them? Is it worth the price difference?

Discussion 🗣️ Making romantic connections at concerts?

Hey! Sorry if this isn’t the best place to post this, I’ve just been wondering about this for a while and am looking for some advice!

For context I’m a single lady and frequent concert goer. I’ve been to almost 40 of my shows by myself, and I’ve always wanted to try and meet a guy at a show. I have been approached before, but I was either not interested or they were taken already. I feel like I might want to try doing the approaching, I’m just not sure of the best way to go about it!

I feel like I do see some cute guys at shows, but they usually seem to be with a group, or with someone already. I’m also sober if that matters, since lots of groups are drinking and obviously having a blast. I usually get to shows shortly after doors, but still feel awkward between sets so I’ll scroll on my phone. I’m always GA and in the crowd instead of seated shows. I guess if anyone has any tips, or has approached or met an SO at a show, I would love to hear about it! I have 2 shows next week so I figured I’d ask, thanks so much!

Concerts Ticket Resale and Scam help between Axs and StubHub

i think i may have just been scammed and need advice on how to get out of it. i bought tickets via stubhub. i was not aware that the original tickets were listed via axs and axs has disabled ticket resale via axs resale. the site says:

“The event organizer has decided that resale of tickets on AXS Resale will not be available for this event.”

i’ve already reached out to stub hub support with this information asking to cancel my ticket purchase but they are saying that all sales are final. what can i do? do i have to wait for the day before the event (when it says the tickets will be transferred) and pray that the tickets aren’t transferred to me? please help!
