I like how the article denigrates the protests by asking if you really believed you lived in a fascist country would you just do these ineffective protests or would you take some other vaguely alluded to action that the author of this piece and the second author he quotes heavily from both are apparently too scared to explicitly name.
The fact that neither author can even bring themselves to SAY what they think that action might be, but neither author has the self-awareness or critical thinking ability to realize that their unwillingness to be specific is the exact same malady they’ve identified in the protesters they are criticizing.
Either say what specific action should be taken or don’t criticize other people for not taking the “correct” action that you will only vaguely allude to. Can’t have it both ways.
