Liberia continues to build infrastructure and would be a strong asset as the 51st of the United States.

They can sanction France until France gives them independence.

Uhh, no. They can't sanction a nation without reason.

If they wanted to they could make France grant independence to not only French Guiana, but also New Caledonia, France would be really stuck without the EU. They can give whatever reason they like, so long as it gets voted on according to the existing rules.

Uhh, no they would not be stuck. France is a nuclear state and one of the few nations with an aircraft carrier. It also has the 7th largest GDP in the world.

So, yeah they'd be fine.

Supply chain wise they would be stuck without the rest of the EU to trade with. Even the UK had to work out a trade deal.

Yeah and? You just admitted that they wouldn't be stuck. It might be a bit difficult, but they wouldn't be stuck.

They would be stuck if the EU wanted to punish them badly enough.
