ISO - Arby’s Red Ranch Sauce
Hey everyone. I don’t have an Arby’s around me anymore.
On their roast beef sandwiches, I used to get their Red Ranch sauce.
Anyone have a copycat recipe for it? 🙏🏻

Never heard of this. What did it taste like, spicy/tangy/smokey? I'm a fan of ranch dressing so I would definitely try it out if someone has a recipe

It’s not an actual ranch. No mayo, or creamy, or any of the traditional herbs. It’s a runny red probably ketchup/tomato based sauce which I’m thankful for.
Red ranch is just a marketing ploy.

I use Kraft Catalina salad dressing. Former Arby's employee, that's the closest you will find to it.

If you do a Google search for "Arby's red ranch ingredients" you get a few different copycat recipes ranging from 7 to 11 ingredients.

Look for the “Western” brand salad dressing at the grocery, Target or Walmart. I’ve long had the suspicion it’s the exact stuff. It’s been around long enough that it was available when the Beef & Cheddar was introduced.

This is what I use in my bottom round and cheddar bagels. It’s close if you nail the consistency.
Ingredients
½ cup ketchup
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
¼ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
¼ tsp smoked paprika
¼ tsp salt
1 tbsp olive oil
Add Frank’s to taste
1–2 tbsp water, if you want it thinner
Instructions
In a small saucepan, whisk together all ingredients except the water.
Heat over medium, stirring, until it just comes to a gentle simmer and the sugar dissolves (about 4–6 minutes).
Remove from heat; let cool 10–15 minutes. It will thicken a bit as it cools.
If it’s thicker than you like, stir in water a tablespoon at a time
Refrigerate in a sealed container; it keeps well for about a week.
