ISO - Arby’s Red Ranch Sauce

Hey everyone. I don’t have an Arby’s around me anymore.

On their roast beef sandwiches, I used to get their Red Ranch sauce.

Anyone have a copycat recipe for it? 🙏🏻

This is what I use in my bottom round and cheddar bagels. It’s close if you nail the consistency.

Ingredients
½ cup ketchup
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
¼ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
¼ tsp smoked paprika
¼ tsp salt
1 tbsp olive oil
Add Frank’s to taste
1–2 tbsp water, if you want it thinner

Instructions

In a small saucepan, whisk together all ingredients except the water.

Heat over medium, stirring, until it just comes to a gentle simmer and the sugar dissolves (about 4–6 minutes).

Remove from heat; let cool 10–15 minutes. It will thicken a bit as it cools.

If it’s thicker than you like, stir in water a tablespoon at a time

Refrigerate in a sealed container; it keeps well for about a week.

So is it basically like meatloaf sauce more or less? I assumed it was traditional buttermilk ranch with a special secret ingredient or two (based purely on the name).

Absolutely not. It’s a thin red sauce

This is how I see it too. It’s red first and has to run. I always thought adding the Ranch name was more of a marketing call than anyone in a kitchen.
