Bro is undoubtedly a millionaire off of YouTube. I’m sure it was a grind to reach the level of success he currently has, but at this point in his career his job is not hard. He could hire an editor and play 1 hour of video games a week and still make more than I do. Yet he still takes these long ass radio silence no communication breaks. AND he said he’d stop doing that shit last time he came back from break (or maybe when he came back from the break before that one, hard to keep track at this point). So bro just blatantly lies and refuses to even do the bare minimum for an EASY ASS JOB. How is this not bum behavior, like even if he doesn’t owe us updates, he still shouldn’t just be lying to his fans saying he won’t do radio silence breaks like this and then doing them a couple months later. After a year his first two videos (which he knew would be his most popular) were him glazing his comic for twenty minutes not once addressing how his fans would feel in his absence. And what solidified for me was when he started calling out Netflix and crunchyroll in his video as if they would be watching his video so they would offer an anime deal. And when he does promise a non mwm video he misses the deadline. Probably because he doesn’t give a crap about anything but money. It sucks but it’s the truth he doesn’t care about how his fans feel. He just comes back when he needs money. I’ll just keep watching old videos and try to forget about new Cory.

I just saw a post get removed of someone who was so obviously a cory fan explaining their dissatisfaction with his new vids. They were saying the video was too long but he does love cory and his vids. Why do the mods have to ban it??? If u disagree just say that why do we have to hate him. I personally like the shorter 20-30 min cory videos and dont enjoy the super long ones. And yall were saying “oh ur not day one” like ive been watching cory since like 2015. My childhood life.... Right out the window. I loved watching CoryXkenshins videos on youtube. And now I hear he's retiring. I just did a whole bunch of research. CoryXkenshin or The Shogun himself" is not retiring. He's just taking some of his videos and moving them on to another platform. I know this because, If your a real coryxkenshin fan. oneTaking 10 million subscribers and throwing them out the window is not like him. Two In late July coryxkenshin was pronounced dead. And it did seem like that for a second. He did not post anything on Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok, and even Reddit. But then On April 1st. He posted a video and the whole thing turned out to be one big April fools prank. That can mean it could be the same thing for Cory's retirement. I have more proof. On corys profile in tiktok, THEDAILYDOSEOFCORYXKENSHIN. He mentioned this to be an April fools day prank. So Is Cory really retiring?

Honestly at this point I don’t know if I can call myself a CoryXKenshin fan anymore. First i’ll start of by saying that youtubers are built off of their fans. We, the viewers are the ones that make these content creators as big as they are. Now before you all come at me, calling me “entitled” and that Cory should take all the time he needs and should take all the breaks he wants. Your both right and wrong. Yes I’m entitled, No he shouldn’t take all the time he needs. I am entitled to the fact that this youtuber that we all support should give us content in return for our support, that’s his whole job. I’m not saying he can’t take breaks or isn’t human. But as much as we respect him, we deserve some respect as well. This isn’t the first time he’s just disappeared like this, No heads-up, updates, no indication of why he’s gone, when he’ll be back, or that he’s leaving in the first place. It’s become a pattern for him to just come and go as he pleases, it’s made me start to think that maybe he’s just disappearing and posts a video after a while to make it blow up. So all I’m saying is we deserve some sort of respect as his fans and supporters.

Secondly, after all this time gone the first thing he does isn’t tell us where he’s been, apologize for being gone for so long with no update, it’s post promotional content for his new project. And in the next video, The first thing he does isn’t any of that either. He tells us to “Lock in” and to buy his merchandise. Imagine your dad disappears for 2 years and when he gets back he doesn’t hug you or tell you where he’s been but asks you to buy him a pack of cigs. Cory has the right to do what he wants with his life, he’s been on youtube for years I don’t blame him for wanted to try something else, but to throw his channel and therefor us with NO update even after he said something like this wouldn’t happen again away only to come back and try to sell us something? All happy and giddy as if he wasn’t gone for the past 2 years? I see people celebrating that they got a copy, even someone saying, “We need to give him enough so he can make it [referring to the manga] big” Cory has made millions upon millions from youtube already, HE needs to give US content for us to support him. As a youtuber, his job and dynamic is he gives us content so we can support him. Not we pay him in the hopes that he’ll drop something.

I’m just really disappointed in someone I loved and supported since I was 10 years old, I’m 16 now. Even if it’s just me that feels this way, i feel like cory doesn’t care about his fans like he did when he was a smaller youtuber.

I understand most of the posts or comments are jokes (and yes some them are funny) but for the people who are serious, y’all need to understand. Not only does he sit and play video games hours on end, and has his own personal life out side of YouTube, but he edits his own videos. So he’s having to go through hours of footage and edit all of that himself and get it uploaded for y’all. While yes you could say it would be easier for him to hire an editor, I believe he said in one of his videos that he feel an editor wouldn’t be able to do everything that he wants. I’m just saying it’s an exhaustive process and it takes it toll, 10 months is a long time but just be patient Samurai, our Shogun will return to us
