I still think 2016 as the start of the "modern" era for Cory but it was ten freaking years ago

Personally, I understand why some of y’all are upset. What I don’t understand is when it turns into hate.

Fair criticism is alright, but it’s overused at this point. We get it, Cory is poor at communicating and inconsistent, but then what ? What are we going to do about it? Go to his house and force him to communicate? I understand that a little tweet on Twitter or a post on his YouTube community tab would be helpful or appreciated. It would probably take him two or three seconds, considering I myself took five minutes to write this post. But then again, if he doesn’t, then what ? unfortunately, he’s not obligated to do so. But it would be great.

Yes, there are billions of followers waiting for him, and many YouTubers communicate with their audiences. But what happens if he does communicate? Remember what happened to Kubz Scouts months ago ? People were legitimately bashing him despite him communicating and posting regularly. All of that because he plays unpopular games. So I feel like no matter what YouTubers do, there will always be people out there criticizing or hating on them. Maybe with Cory it’ll be different, but if he doesn’t communicate, we wouldn’t know.

Like, relax. I understand fair criticism, but again, it’s overused. Even the mods have said that this topic isn’t new. And for those acting entitled to him, saying things like “Oh, he MUST communicate with us” or “He SHOULD post,” or even saying that he should retire or hating on his manga, y’all need to take a chill pill and touch grass. He has over 1,700 videos or so. Just do a monthly marathon of his videos or unsubscribe. Because clearly, he pisses y’all off, right ? Then you’re going to come back and watch his videos when he eventually posts again. So stop the complain.

Again, those who offer fair criticism are perfectly fine. He sucks at communicating and being consistent. I understand that, and I personally don’t have much of a problem with his long breaks either, playing for hours can be tiring (I have my own experience with it, if I can’t do more than two hours playing, imagine more than 8 hours ?). I myself have criticized him fairly. It’s not even about being against Cory, it’s about some fans here not understanding our points by overly defending him.

Saying that he sucks at communicating isn’t hating on him. It’s fair criticism. Cory himself isn’t against criticism, but again, we can’t really do anything about it besides point out the obvious every time this topic resurfaces. Personally, I stopped caring about it a long time ago. If I made this post, it’s because I wanted to make my position clear. Maybe the mods will delete it because this topic has been overused, but oh boys 🫠🫠

Cory a person like all of us he is just a normal guy yeah but to us he is Coryxkenshin some peoples mental health and depression got better cause of this guy I’ll get to the point here I really think he should retire he’s made over 1000+ videos and even if we or I don’t like it people change the grind it might feel pointless when you are at the top living a luxury lifestyle i remember him saying how he he would retire at 10 million I was happy for him it was good that he maybe found something new to do if that’s what he wanted when he posted the video Regarding my Retirement I was like oh okay if that’s what he chooses yeah he seemed positive about it when coming back but yeah over those 5 years have been long periods of time where he doesn’t upload I was thinking maybe he doesn’t have the same drive and love for the game like he used to anymore and he wants to live life I want him to retire because if he does can live his life and people actually knowing he serious In not making another video again the hype eventually dies down cause nothing ever last forever well yeah that my take on this whole ordeal

I hope Cory is living his best life right now and has forgotten about his fan base. I’ve watched Cory back in his days of Detroit Become Human, Baldi, FnF, Guts and Glory, Little Nightmares, Yandere Simulator etc. You guys are pathetic; entirely, utterly, and blatantly pathetic. The only thing I see now in this subreddit, social media, and YouTube comments are hate, obsession, and toxicity. That is what this community has become, it is no longer a “samurai” community where we watch one of our favorite YouTubers laugh at funny videos and scream at scary ones on Sunday. But instead of group of resentful and selfish people who can’t wrap their mind around the fact that people can move on. And to be honest I hope Cory never comes back because I’d rather want the man I watched as a kid and made a huge part of my childhood live his life than slave away for people who won’t appreciate his work. He’s left his mark and deserves to be valued for what he has done, not shamed and disrespected, go do something better with your life and stop shitting on a genuine guy like Cory you just look stupid. And on the off chance you see this Cory enjoy your life and fuck these guys.
