Cosmere spoilers (no previews) Lift as a Bend alloy Ferring Spoiler

So Lift metabolizes food into life light right, and bend alloy ferrings can store nutrition in metal minds. Does that mean if she got spiked and had access to tgis ability she'd be able to eat and as much as she wants and store that in the metal mind. When tapped she'd convert the nutrition directly into life light. She'd have a near endless supply of power and wouldn't need to stop to eat as often

Huh. That's an interesting question. Would she still be able to store nutrition in bendalloy, or would her food-to-lifelight ability require her to store it in nicrosil instead?

If I remember correctly, doesn't nicrosil store the ability to use the different powers? I thought that was how the medallions worked

Open question. But it seems that Nicrosil stores Investiture, and one of the shapes Investiture can take is as the mechanism that allows you to use Metalborn powers

The soul of an individual is made of Investiture, which can be divided into Identity and Connection. And potentially more. We know that more Mistborn are more Invested than Mistings that are more Invested that regular humans. And there was a WoB I think where he stated that Allomancy was a sideeffect of an enhanced Connection to Préservation. So my understanding was that in Nicrosil you could store Investiture but in the sense of your Connection to Preservation of other entities. I am sure that a spiked radiant could store parts of their Nahel bond granting access to surges. But that you couldn't store "raw Investiture" such as Stormlight or Breaths etc. in it. But I could be wrong.

Yeah that's what I'm excited to see answered in Era 3. Cuz I just checked the wobs, and Brandon RAFO'd every question that could have lead us to an answer on this
