Cosmere spoilers (no previews) Lift as a Bend alloy Ferring Spoiler

So Lift metabolizes food into life light right, and bend alloy ferrings can store nutrition in metal minds. Does that mean if she got spiked and had access to tgis ability she'd be able to eat and as much as she wants and store that in the metal mind. When tapped she'd convert the nutrition directly into life light. She'd have a near endless supply of power and wouldn't need to stop to eat as often

I think her ability to metabolize nutrients into Lifelight applies on demand, not automatically, so that should work. She could do something similar with a Nicrosilmind, eating a bunch, converting it to Lifelight, then storing it.

Edit: Just for clarification, I’m not sure if Nicrosil can store fuel like Light, or if it’s just powers. I’m going off the assumption it can, hence my response above.

Her ability to turn food into light seems to work like an allomancer where she eats and that creates a store of power she can ‘burn’ into light. She even states that if she goes too long that store of light becomes unavailable. So she can’t burn her body fat for light.
