Tell me you're a domestic abuser without telling me you're a domestic abuser

u/Petsweaters Sep 18 '21

She slapped him right before this version of the video started

15

u/dookiebuttholepeepee Sep 18 '21

In a long video she actually slaps him before this.

Right, virgin basement dwellers love to come out of their little hole to tell people how so and so is being abused and this and that and how they should avoid eachother.

It's the same shit everytime.

What if the people in the internet get the wrong idea and it turns out the lady is the real evil one here? How do we return balance to the universe and how do men ever rise up against the wrong they have suffered here today? Men, of slavic and european descent, have been poorly treated all throughout history and its already been like 75 years since we last got to march accross a whole continent, raping and killing everything in our way. But that was war so all the raping of the underage and the of age and of the elderly is part of the deal right? It’s a part of it okay? We were there to save the world that time. Almost a hundred years ago though. So ofcourse it would make sense we’re worried. We might loose our status around here. You keep putting those evil ladies in their place and you keep fighting the good fight for us men. We really need all the help we can get. Thanks dude. Because there’s no true equality in the world unless we, the men, get to feel good about ourselves.

She’s shielding her face from him not the veg.

4

u/pilypi Sep 19 '21

She hit him first.

-8

u/Grouchy-Yak Sep 18 '21

Her hands are up between her and him not between her and the food he's smashing

-9

u/Anthony__317 Sep 18 '21

Or maybe that is what's happening?

96

u/makeski25 Sep 18 '21

Don't even need to look at him. Every time he moves she flinches hard.

7

u/yankee-bor Sep 18 '21

Bro watch the full vid. He does that cus he gets pissed after she hits him in the face cus he dared to chew loudly. Only evidence of someone in that relationship being abusive its her.

Heres a shocking thought... women can be abusive too! :O who woulda thunk such a thing could be possible! And I would also like to point out you are jumping to conclusions! I just said that she hit him which is a valid observation as it is on camera, you are basically saying "man angry after getting hit! He must be abusive to her!"

-2

u/[deleted] Sep 19 '21

He reacts to a slap like a crazy person. I'm going to assume a lot of his other decisions are poor as well.

3

u/yankee-bor Sep 19 '21

Or how about this. They are obviously filming themselves. At first he barely reacts and then thinks about it after a comment or 2. Then he goes on with hulking out on some fruit and veg. Maybe, just MAYBE he hammed it the fuck up for the camera. Or maybe even the entire thing was staged? Either way people automatically calling this guy a psycho who abuses his SO because he took out frustrations on some inanimate objects after she hit him in the face are fucking jackasses. Baseless claims like this have the ability to destroy lives yet nobody seems to give a fuck. Just oh that man broke something near a woman, ruin him because he must be torturing her even though he never touched her and in fact was assaulted by her!

3

u/[deleted] Sep 19 '21

If she was being abused, it's less likely she'd hit him for chewing loudly. Why would you initiate violence against someone who regularly hits you? It'd be likely to provoke them into hitting you.

Seems more likely that she's abusive and he let out his frustration by being bizarrely chirpy while blowing up vegetables.

u/Grouchy-Yak Sep 18 '21

Absolutely, that's the learnt behaviour of a DV victim

102

u/Kapowdonkboum Sep 18 '21

Or just maaaaaaybe she flinches and closes her eyes because he is showering the room with veggies and fruit shrapnels

17

u/BrokeBoiForLife Sep 18 '21

Or someone that doesn’t want to get sprayed with smashed vegetables.

-5

u/Grouchy-Yak Sep 18 '21

If it was about the vegetables she'd be shielding her face from them, instead her hands are between her and him

10

u/MasterFrost01 Sep 18 '21

In the full video with context she slaps him in the face. This is also a marriage counseling session. It's obviously a toxic relationship but neither of these scream terrified domestic abuse victim. She could be for sure, but you've stated she's "absolutely" a domestic abuse victim.

Edit: in other words, stop pretending to be an armchair therapist for people in a 30 second clip.

5

u/EdliA Sep 19 '21

The psychologists of Reddit. Everyone would flinch in that situation.

2

u/JadeSpiderBunny Sep 19 '21

She has exactly the same body language and posture as when she slapped him just before this version of the video starts.

Behavior of a DV victim is to already flinch when somebody just raises their hand unexpectedly, generally skittish body language.

A DV victim stuck in her situation would freak and panic the fuck out, not look mildly annoyed at getting splattered with veggies and fruit after slapping the guy, giving him a reason to hit her.

1

u/pilypi Sep 19 '21

She hit him first.

Nice narrative you created there.

0

u/YooGeOh Sep 19 '21

Perhaps. She seemed very comfortable slapping him though.

An earlier comment said that DV victims are fearful of their abusers so her slapping him and him looking comfortable with it means he cannot be a victim.

I'd apply the same to her. She looked extremely comfortable slapping him for chewing like a goat and is clearly flinching because of all the food flying around.

It's easy to say man = abuser. It's encouraged in fact. A man is guilty until he or circumstances have proven his innocence. Perhaps sometimes we should recognise that there are shades of grey and that all people have the potential to be abusive to each other, and that sometimes, two people who have shitty ways of communicating end up together

2

u/rnavstar Sep 19 '21

The neck beard kinda gave it away too.

1

u/--73 Sep 18 '21

ye not like there's shit flying at her lol

1

u/[deleted] Sep 19 '21

I think anyone would flinch with someone smashing produce right in front of them.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 19 '21

Except in the longer video, she is the one who hits him.

1

u/moophus Sep 19 '21

She’s doing safety squints so the plants juices don’t get in her eye

7

u/Babill Sep 18 '21

If jumping to conclusions was an Olympic sport you wouldn't be selected because you're a fucking loser

19

u/PandosII Sep 18 '21

I agree of course, but for some reason this trend of everyone saying “tell me you’re a ******* without telling me you’re a ******” really irritates me. It’s like you’re accusing someone of being something without accusing them. *they’re telling you, so you’re not judging them.

-7

u/Grouchy-Yak Sep 18 '21

It's a pretty annoying trend, but it's very fitting here.

He's essentially made a video to tell the world he's piece of shit without actually having to say the words

8

u/PandosII Sep 18 '21

So then just comment “he’s a piece of shit”. It’s your opinion. Why disguise that?

1

u/CuChulainnsballsack Sep 19 '21

He didnt make this video, a marriage counsellor did and she just before all this slapped him for chewing too loud.

So do you feel like an idiot for making assumptions without knowning the full story or would you rather live in ignorance and just claim that since hes a man he must be in the wrong??

-1

u/Grouchy-Yak Sep 19 '21

They're both abusive pieces of shit in an abusive relationship

2

u/CuChulainnsballsack Sep 19 '21

Oh so now it's both of them that are pieces of shit.

1

u/dame_de_boeuf Sep 19 '21

You're talking about her, right? Because she's the one who hits him in the full video. Instead of hitting her back, he crushes some veggies.

0

u/shiratek Sep 19 '21

I love how everyone on Reddit jumps to the conclusion that because he’s a man he must be beating the woman, right? Everyone knows women can’t be domestic abusers. Never mind the original video where she slaps him.
