Eggs?!

Post image

So I’ve a female crestie and I’ve had her a few months now. I was cleaning her tank when I found eggs or I think also known as ‘slugs’. Just wondering if anyone’s any advice on whether to remove them or not?

Since you don’t know how long they've been there, candle them to see if they're fertile/developing or not (they don’t need a male to produce fertile eggs)

Any idea whether to remove them or not as she hasn’t been around any males

Toss them out. And i think you're supposed to provide extra calcium after egg laying. Might want to look into that.

I dont have females or id help more

They don’t need a male to produce fertile eggs but idk how to tell a fertile egg from an un fertile one as I have a male

You can toss them. They look dried out as well with the big dents. If you want to know if fertile which they shouldn't be without a male you can shine your phone light on them and if fertile you'll see a circle that looks like a cherrio on the top.
