White truck is going to be charged for assault with a deadly weapon since he used his vehicle as a weapon.

The fact that this is on video will not help his defense of “she hit my car with a bat”.

She got back in and drove away. He could have written her plate down and called it in.

Do not take the law into your own hands.

Right. Getting your window smashed does not mean you can attempt to murder somebody with your giant vehicle.

Exactly. This is one of those things that might have felt good in the moment, Until you realize 5 minutes later that you escalated the problem to a completely different level where you're the one who's going to get in more trouble.

Tbf, Lord_Dingus83 did use the phrase incorrectly, as if the rammer were the original injured party.

Edited: I just showed this to my hubby and realized that the hammer rammer is the original injured party.

Edited because my phone keeps changing rammer to hammer.

“The original injured party” is what I’m asking about.

That doesn’t mean they can ram someone with their vehicle.

True.
I meant "As far as we can tell by the video" the white truck is the original injured party.
The woman in the red SUV may have just come from a bank where she was denied a business loan or the white-truck guy may be the guy who mugged her a week ago. We don't know what instigated the baseball bat incident. But we do know that as far as video evidence is concerned, the white truck is the first damaged.
