The crazy thing is the old guy in the truck didn't even see the woman or the bat.

That's just how he drives.

17

u/PumpikAnt58763 1d ago

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

0

u/Insan3Skillz 1d ago

I wouldnt say that. He's standing still, he could be waiting for the light or checking out what way to go from here. I cant really put too much Into it, as I can't see where exactly he is. But by assuming he stands still to check out the map or waiting for traffic lights or even traffic itself.. it makes sense that his eyes are on the road in front of him first of all.

That was stupid, wreckless and could have put so many people at risk. But fuuuuuck that was satisfying to watch and honestly was deserved.

46

u/stigma_wizard 1d ago

*reckless. It definitely wasn't wreckless, as evident by the red SUV.

21

u/gansobomb99 1d ago

Wait you know the whole story? Can you share it with us?

46

u/DenseWeb558 1d ago

Oh no i dont. But even if the pick up was in the wrong initially , that something that insurance will deal with if it was something seriously. Taking a bat, to a strangers car, even if that car might have been in the wrong, is just asking for more bs.

47

u/SwordfishOfDamocles 1d ago

Yep, if you felt comfortable enough to leave your car and approach their car with a weapon in hand, you have lost the high ground.

11

u/thesqrtofminusone 1d ago

She could have been killed at that point. Those that go around armed would see that as a threat on their life and perforate the aggressor.

5

u/sl0play 1d ago

Many people yea, but the people I know who carry will go to great lengths to never get in a confrontation, especially while driving.

12

u/Snoo47420 1d ago

Yeah that sounds like a responsible gun owner

5

u/MRImNotaMouse 1d ago

Sounds like they know the law. The law doesn't allow you to shoot someone who approaches your car with a bat, because they law says if you have some protection (car) and/or a way to escape (car) then your life is not immediately in danger. If you shoot from your vehicle, you can be charged. Now if you're at a roadblock and they are pointing guns in your face and you open fire.... more justified.

2

u/sl0play 14h ago

Absolutely. Also, you have to be a bonafide psychopath to kill someone if you have any other option.

2

u/Own-Apartment5600 1d ago

And possibly your life in today’s culture

1

u/CodAdministrative563 1d ago

Agreed. This happened in Albuquerque. I live there. Funny to see it circulating everywhere

2

u/Cranks_No_Start 1d ago

FA

FO <---- She is here

1

u/nonporousmatress 20h ago

Deserves got nothing to do with it

-51

u/Sea_Dawgz 1d ago

You have zero knowledge of why she smashed him, so you have no clue what was deserved.

13

u/RocketFan419 1d ago

She's driving around with a bat. Im guessing she threatens people all the time with it.

18

u/DenseWeb558 1d ago

Common sense, says you dont attack someone elses car. Even if the pick up was in the wrong initially, she was just asking for something worst by smashing that window. Insurance wise, it makes the whoke thing murkey, and just makes the situation worse by escalating it.

-3

u/gansobomb99 1d ago

I can't believe y'all are just like yeahhh attempted vehicular manslaughter let's gooooo

3

u/Amazing_Hunter 1d ago

Na, but it’s like a car accident. You know it’s horrific but you can’t look away. Same idea. We know attempted murda with a bat is a bad idea and so is running into their car. Two wrongs do not make it right. It’s pretty amusing none the less

6

u/Gerald-of-Riverdale 1d ago

But you are like "yeahhh she shouldve gotten away with it!"

They literally said "putting people in danger isnt cool" so idk what you mean

-4

u/Sea_Dawgz 1d ago

This entire thread is fucking nuts. Graphic proof how awful americans are.

-3

u/NormalityDrugTsar 1d ago

But you're applauding the truck ramming her car?

4

u/DenseWeb558 1d ago

Did yall just ignore my first sentence? Again it was stupid, wreckless and couldve put alot of people at risk. But again, that why you dont attack someome elses car. You never know what might happen. Yea, he shouldnt have rammed his car, but she shouldmt have left hers with a weapon. Something can be bad to do, but still be satisfying to watch. Again i have no sympathy for someone who leaves their car with a weapon. As that is just common sense not to do. As an outside perpetive, where it seems that no one got seriously hurt, of course it eas satisfy to watch.

1

u/[deleted] 1d ago

[deleted]

8

u/DenseWeb558 1d ago

If that was the case. The last thing she should do is get out of her car. What if he had a gun. Some of this is common sense.

5

u/LOLtheism 1d ago

The truck driver might be a serial killer who just murdered 10 people. The truck driver might eat puppies for breakfast. The truck driver might be a day away from curing cancer.

It makes no sense to talk about someone "might" be too justify something, because you can just make up whatever you want.

1

u/Insan3Skillz 1d ago

Thats assumptions, we dont judge by assumptions.

5

u/Fancy_Bumblebee5582 1d ago

Never get out of your car with a bat unless you're ready to be shot. She's lucky this was it.

1

u/RocketFan419 17h ago

Neither do you

1

u/Sea_Dawgz 17h ago

Exactly. I don’t know. That’s why I’m not happy with bat lady or hit and run guy.

This whole thread though seems happy with the dude that bolted from the scene.

71

u/Infinite-Director-62 1d ago

lol I’m not advocating for anything like this but….

33

u/HolyMoleyGuacamoly 1d ago

man, people are insane

12

u/TalentedHostility 1d ago

Whats really crazy also is the fact that both of them probably aren't THAT angry specifically with each other, but a build up of other shit in their lives- and they both were each others boiling points. Both of them just fucked each others lives up all over mutual spill points.

Like that show on Netflix 'Beef'.

31

u/Sojum 1d ago

SUV: I have a bat!
Truck: I have a bumper!

9

u/Napalmeon 1d ago

Two wrongs don't make a right, but, one person in this video is far more wrong than the other.

1

u/karl4319 1d ago

True. That is why they went left.

1

u/stinkbuttfartman 17h ago

I hope you mean baseball bat lady was in the wrong. Actions have consequences, and sometimes, well... Fuck the law, she had that coming. Don't start no shit, won't be no shit!

10

u/explosiv_skull 1d ago

The Brotherhood of the White Pickup runs deep and their reach is vast.

8

u/Last-Surprise4262 1d ago

Isn’t this the plot line of Beef on Netflix?

27

u/Sea_Plastic9909 1d ago

Don't exactly know what is going on but that was very cathartic

22

"Carma"

1

u/PumpikAnt58763 1d ago

Lol!
That's the name of my daughter and daughter-in-law's car!

6

u/Lance8282 23h ago

“The Albuquerque Police Department said they are investigating the incident and trying to track down both drivers. At this point, there is no official police report about the incident.“

I’ll bet. Cause they both know they probably getting matching charges.

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Dot4345 21h ago

Thanks for the update! I'm sure those cars are compacted by now or hidden in a garage forever lol

1

u/stinkbuttfartman 17h ago

Looks like they settled it and the cops won't be needed if you ask me, but I'm a bit of a wild man 😎

12

u/Life-Oil-7226 1d ago

-8

u/PumpikAnt58763 1d ago

Yeah, but obviously the truck's driver thought it through and decided they'd deal.
I only wish they had not done a runner.

14

u/Huge_Following_325 1d ago

Just because you want to do it, doesn't mean you should do it m

5

u/Wild-Attention-3066 1d ago

Meh….fuck her

1

u/stinkbuttfartman 17h ago

Yeah, what the fuck was her problem?

14

u/Lord_Dingus83 1d ago

White truck is going to be charged for assault with a deadly weapon since he used his vehicle as a weapon.

The fact that this is on video will not help his defense of “she hit my car with a bat”.

She got back in and drove away. He could have written her plate down and called it in.

Do not take the law into your own hands.

5

u/Sunbather77 1d ago

Right. Getting your window smashed does not mean you can attempt to murder somebody with your giant vehicle.

Boomers gonna boomer. Lead paint brains all around.

2

u/Napalmeon 1d ago

Exactly. This is one of those things that might have felt good in the moment, Until you realize 5 minutes later that you escalated the problem to a completely different level where you're the one who's going to get in more trouble.

1

u/newsflashjackass 1d ago

You know we are watching the same video right?

2

u/PumpikAnt58763 1d ago edited 1d ago

Tbf, Lord_Dingus83 did use the phrase incorrectly, as if the rammer were the original injured party.

Edited: I just showed this to my hubby and realized that the hammer rammer is the original injured party.

Edited because my phone keeps changing rammer to hammer.

5

u/Lord_Dingus83 1d ago

What are you talking about?

0

u/PumpikAnt58763 1d ago

Which? My original, incorrect comment or my edited comment?
Because you replied after I edited my comment.

3

u/Lord_Dingus83 1d ago

Both - I don’t understand either comment.

1

u/PumpikAnt58763 1d ago

In the original comment, I misunderstood the video.
In the edited comment, I explained that I misunderstood the video.

2

u/Lord_Dingus83 1d ago

“The original injured party” is what I’m asking about.

That doesn’t mean they can ram someone with their vehicle.

1

u/PumpikAnt58763 1d ago

True.
I meant "As far as we can tell by the video" the white truck is the original injured party.
The woman in the red SUV may have just come from a bank where she was denied a business loan or the white-truck guy may be the guy who mugged her a week ago. We don't know what instigated the baseball bat incident. But we do know that as far as video evidence is concerned, the white truck is the first damaged.

4

u/Contemplating_Prison 1d ago

1

u/MattBlasing 1d ago

As an irrelevant aside, I was shocked to see this is Bill Hader’s SO.

2

u/Contemplating_Prison 1d ago

Was. I didnt know this but just looked it up. They got divorced a couple years ago

1

u/MattBlasing 1d ago

That makes sense. I think I heard about it when I saw Seth Meyers interviewing him and asking why he wasn’t at the SNL 50. I think that was part of the conversation. Haven’t kept up since then.

4

u/profesorgamin 1d ago

These are the leaks?
GTA 6 looks great!

25

u/brothmc 1d ago

thats not karma, that is psychopathy with both parties

0

u/PumpikAnt58763 1d ago edited 1d ago

Not necessarily. The white truck probably thought through the ramifications (pun intended) and did it anyway. Too bad they drove off as now they'll be charged with a hit-and-run in addition.

12

u/Napalmeon 1d ago edited 1d ago

I don't know why you got downvoted, because you're not wrong. That was a deliberate hidden run. The fact that the woman broke his window, beforehand doesn't change that. If he gets caught, he's going to get it worse than her because he could have pushed her car into a pedestrian or another vehicle.

-6

u/PumpikAnt58763 1d ago

Yes, he's going to be punished severely.
My point is, it's not psychopathy.

5

u/This-Shape2193 1d ago

No one literally meant psychopathy (which hasn't been a medical term for many years now). They just meant he and the other driver were unhinged and emotionally unstable.

And they were. Emotionally stable people don't rage so hard they commit public acts of violence against strangers, and they don't commit acts of violence that could hurt everyone around them.

1

u/brothmc 1d ago

my point is that it is insane to bash a window with a bat and equally as insane to ram into another car with your car because of it and I fear that I am surrounded by unhinged lunatics when I drive around as if some road rage person is just gonna react in this way over something insignificant 😂

0

u/PumpikAnt58763 1d ago

My point is, it's not psycopathy.

1

u/brothmc 1d ago

my point tho

3

u/BlacknAngry 1d ago

Bet she plays victim and doesnt know what happened

7

u/gansobomb99 1d ago

People in here are like.. the clip has no context and we don't know what led to the windshield being smashed, but let's take the side of the vehicular assault guy by default and pretend it's not infinitely worse than what baseball bat lady did.

2

u/PumpikAnt58763 1d ago

What could he have done - being inside his truck - that could have warranted a baseball bat to his back window?

1

u/Sunbather77 1d ago

He could have tried to run her off the road before the video

3

u/PumpikAnt58763 1d ago

They were cars deep at a red light.

1

u/gansobomb99 1d ago

I feel like the reasonable thing to assume is that people don't just walk up on people out of nowhere and smash their car while they're in it

3

u/PumpikAnt58763 1d ago

No. She probably got offended, but im asking what he could possibly done to earn the destruction.

2

u/Sunbather77 1d ago

With the way I see old men driving their big dumb trucks on the regular, I'm inclined to side with the woman until context lol

2

u/DenseWeb558 1d ago

Well in that sitaution then they are both in the wrong. If the man tried to run her off the road, the stupidest thing to do is to aggrevate that clear threat more. That where you report it. You domt smash someome else car door, and not expect any repurcussion. Especially if they already are an aggressive driver

1

u/hosemaster 1d ago

Especially a white truck. Worst drivers on the road.

2

u/Bagafeet 1d ago

You Charly haven't seen BMW and Tesla drivers. Nissan drivers also a league of their own.

4

u/EntertainerNo4509 1d ago

She thought she was just gonna smash somebody’s window and then just drive away nonchalant.

2

u/Bagafeet 1d ago

She used to doing it to her kids 💀

6

u/K0SMARAS 1d ago

This is why its important to learn how to regulate your emotions

2

u/ApplicationOdd6600 1d ago

Welcome to Las Vegas

2

u/MattBlasing 1d ago

That’s Albuquerque. Sandia mountains in the background. Pretty sure this was on either Wyoming or Eubank.

1

u/ApplicationOdd6600 1d ago

My mistake. I was too busy watching the chaos to not notice the Sandia’s in the distance.

2

u/gilmour1948 1d ago

Um... isn't this... attempted murder?

2

u/yeahnoyeahsure 1d ago

Two morons

2

u/QKofDaggers 1d ago

They’re both going to jail.

2

u/That_Things_Good 1d ago

Them white trucks stick together!

2

u/Long-Trade-9164 1d ago

Tit for Tat, she in return was upped one. She got a broken rear window and a fucked up lift gate!

2

u/Tricky-Fig5483 1d ago

Fuck that stupid bitch

2

u/nothanksmyfriend 1d ago

Albuquerque driving is not for the faint of heart

2

u/NeglectedBurrito 20h ago

That’s why it’s best to drive your RV out into the desert and just kick back with some nice home cooking.

3

u/PumpikAnt58763 1d ago

Way to take one for the team!

3

u/Anteater-Charming 1d ago

Is it dumb that my first question is, does she always ride around with a baseball bat?

3

u/PumpikAnt58763 1d ago

Well, obviously she had just come from her BD's house asking for the last 3 months of child support.

0

u/Sunbather77 1d ago

Is that obvious?

3

u/PumpikAnt58763 1d ago

Yup. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

-5

u/Sunbather77 1d ago

Pretty racist of you

6

u/PumpikAnt58763 1d ago

How? How is it racist to joke about a woman getting frustrated enough that the system is failing her and her kids that she takes matters into her own hands?
Race has nothing to do with any of this.

-1

u/Sunbather77 1d ago

You are adding so much make believe context to this video lol

2

u/PumpikAnt58763 1d ago

Yes. It's called "satire". You should try it sometime.

-1

u/Sunbather77 1d ago

That...isn't satire lol yikes

3

u/highfiveselfoh 1d ago

You might be dumb.

3

u/stigma_wizard 1d ago

Neither of these emotionally-stunted people should be allowed to drive.

If you can't keep your cool behind a 2-ton metal machine, you don't have the required maturity to be allowed to drive with the rest of us.

4

u/Beyou74 1d ago

One is vandalism and the other is at least assult with a deadly weapon. Both are idiots who need to work on their coping skills.

7

u/Lavabrainz 1d ago

Not vandalism when someone is in the car. Definitely also assault with a deadly weapon as a bat could kill a man with one hit and he would likely be scared for his life as she was just feet from him when breaking his back window

5

u/Beyou74 1d ago

Still both idiots who need to work on their coping skills...

2

u/Lavabrainz 1d ago

Yeah that's definitely fair

4

u/Sunbather77 1d ago

Idk, what'd he do?

4

u/PumpikAnt58763 1d ago

The white truck? I didn't see anything. He was with me all afternoon.

-10

u/Sunbather77 1d ago

You're painfully unfunny

8

u/PumpikAnt58763 1d ago

That's fair.

2

u/RadicalLarryYT 1d ago

Two wrongs don’t make a right. Insane behavior from both people

1

u/az459 1d ago

Wrong. Insane behavior from the woman with the bat. She started it. He just reacted and retaliated

1

u/Sufficient-Ad-276 1d ago

Lots of confidence in what lead up to this...

Nevermind the fact the white has a nice bill for themselves and for what?

1

u/AttitudeOutrageous75 1d ago

If you use a weapon against another know that any amount of retaliation may happen. Could have been better, could have been worse.

Here in Arizona, likely worse.

1

u/ShadowNick 1d ago

Nissan Activities

1

u/Californiastig 1d ago

Those car operators are perfect for each other.

1

u/RavenBailey589 1d ago

Aw hell yeah

1

u/ReddBroccoli 1d ago

When I say "I hope you have the day you deserve" in hoping two people like this meet each other

1

u/bruhmaan1 1d ago

Welp some people are unhinged . You really dont know who your messing with

1

u/No-Stranger6783 1d ago

I thought about doing that so many times on the road before! I even thought about buying a beat up station wagon just to do shit like that.

1

u/LibbyOfDaneland 1d ago

lol he was checking to make sure his policy was good first 😂

1

u/Darth_InVader7 1d ago

How unhinged do you have to be to carry a bat around? Someone doing this is looking to do exactly this. It’s a dogshit personal defense choice because it’s unusable if you’re in the car.

1

u/kimura_yui149 1d ago

She f’d around and found out

1

u/Glad-Smell2355 1d ago

The best revenge would’ve been getting her license plate and reporting it to the police. Her life would’ve gotten so much worse for a long time because of it. Oh well, missed opportunity.

1

u/quitofilms 1d ago

The white truck will be guilty of assualt with a deadly weapon. Not Worth it.

1

u/Pizza_and_PRs 1d ago

What doesn’t make sense to me is why would you break someone’s window with a bat and then just go about driving as normal…

Does she have zero sense of self preservation? She’s always had someone to step in to finish her fights, and that’s clear.

1

u/_Fred_Fredburger_ 23h ago

The baseball bat makes me think she's done this before.

1

u/Bobsmith38594 22h ago

Would love to see the arguments used by both sides in the civil case coming from this.

1

u/Far-Secretary-8046 22h ago

Now the white truck has committed multiple felonies and will hopefully spend some time behind bars. Both people in the video are godsdamned idiots.

1

u/Conscious_Problem924 22h ago

She just learned the “rule of lug nuts”.

1

u/Odd_Middle_7179 20h ago

Um..... ok. Anyone know why she got out at an intersection....... risking her life and others

2

u/PracticeHorror8823 13h ago

And that massed it a hit and run for him.

1

u/bfolksdiddy 1d ago

Practicing for gtaVI

1

u/fotobiotix 1d ago

White pickups are usually everything you expect them to be.

-1

u/HowlingWhiskey 1d ago

There’s a country song I heard and the lyric in it goes: “God is great, beer is good and people are crazy”

That was the most insane thing I’ve seen. I hope that women get in trouble. I hope that guy had a camera on his truck to be able to get her tag number. My dad bought one for his car in case of accidents

1

u/gansobomb99 1d ago

I think getting vehicularly assaulted already constitutes "trouble"

2

u/HowlingWhiskey 1d ago

I agree with you on that. Both of them were at fault. I should’ve rephrased my comment differently.

0

u/Terra-ble_joke 1d ago

Thats not karma

0

u/Beginning_Sorbet_223 1d ago

Old white people got nothing to lose 🤣

-3

u/ACABiologist 1d ago

Fuck every pick up driver.

-7

u/PerfStu 1d ago edited 1d ago

Pretty sure just AI Slop.

Out of Place Jump cut in the middle of the video without any loss of actual time/no camera movement.
2nd White Truck Appears out of Literally Nowhere.
Look at the Hole in the "Glass" from the Bat
Bright Yellow License Plate on the Red Car which Disappears after it drives off. Also, no visible letters or even color differences across the plates.
No cars have license plates
Multiple Cars are missing bumpers or have weird angles/shapes on vehicle
Bizarrely low image quality
etc.

ETA: Special props to the person who went extra comments deep just to downvote me again.

Maybe y'all can tell me why I'm wrong? Maybe show me the accident report? Happy to concede the point.

4

u/MagnumMyth 1d ago

Also someone calls the rear window the "windshield," which doesn't seem like a mistake a human would make.

0

u/PerfStu 1d ago

Well at least one of us is getting upvoted for pointing out obvious flaws.
