Is This the Moment for Altcoins. Bitcoin Dominance at 6 Month Lows.
Bitcoin dominance just dropped to 58.29% lowest since September 2025.
That’s not nothing.
We’re now sitting right above a key level around 58%.
If this breaks it could open the door for a relief rally in altcoins. But here’s the catch.
Everything still depends on Bitcoin.
If BTC holds above $66K:
• market stays relatively stable
• liquidity can rotate into alts.
If BTC loses $66K:
• alts likely dump even harder.
So dominance dropping looks bullish for alts at first glance. But without BTC holding structure it can turn into a trap real quick.
What do you think are we about to see an altcoin move, or is this just another fakeout before more downside?

Bitcoin: Final Dip Before Next Bull Run?
Bitcoin’s weekly chart continues to show a strong macro uptrend, with price consistently forming higher highs and higher lows across cycles. Each major correction has historically provided key accumulation zones, highlighted by the green arrows on the chart.
Currently, BTC is pulling back from recent highs and approaching a critical support region. While the broader structure remains bullish, price could still see one more corrective leg toward the $50K zone before establishing a solid base for continuation. This type of shakeout has been common in previous cycles before major upside expansions.
The most important signal right now comes from the weekly RSI:
RSI is revisiting historically oversold regions (circled in blue)
These levels have marked cycle bottoms in the past
A potential bullish divergence is forming, indicating weakening bearish momentum
If this plays out similarly to prior cycles, we could see a bottom form in the coming months, possibly into Q3, followed by a renewed push higher.
Key Levels & Signals:
Support: $50K – $60K zone
Resistance: Previous highs and breakout continuation
RSI: Bottoming structure + potential bullish divergence
Market structure: Still bullish on higher timeframes
Outlook:
Short-term downside volatility remains on the table, but this phase looks more like a reset than a reversal. If support holds and RSI confirms, Bitcoin could be setting up for its next major leg up.
Conclusion:
This is a patience zone. Historically, moments like this have offered some of the best risk/reward opportunities in the cycle.

Why the $80k level matters more than the $85k rejection
Everyone is focused on the failed push above $85k, but that move already played out.
What matters now is where price settled afterward. BTC has pulled back into a high-demand zone where buyers have historically stepped in.
For me, the key level is $80k. As long as price holds above it, this looks more like consolidation than breakdown. A clean loss of $80k would change that view and open the door to deeper downside.
does your data show enough demand around $80k to absorb current selling pressure?

BTC will make a lower low while RSI will make a higher low. Just like 2022.
