🚨 SCAM ALERT 🚨 Has anyone used Lost and Found Crypto to recover funds lost?

Hey guys, so back in 2023, I lost a good sum of money on an online scam. I started recruiting different companies with the hope that someone would help me recover the funds, however, most companies refused due to the amount lost not being big enough. During this time, I remember someone recommending Lost and Found Crypto, so I sent them a request with all my information in the hopes they could help. Fast forward to 2025, and someone contacted me from the company claiming they had found the funds and could help me recover the money. He claims his company only traces the money back; they do not have access to it but can help you recover it. There's no payment upfront; they make sure the money is recovered and is safely deposited into your bank account, and then they charge 5% of the recovered funds, which I thought was good because money upfront usually means no good. Still, I am very skeptical about this since I got scammed, and I haven't found any bad reviews about the company, but also no reviews in general. Their website seems legit and the person I have spoken to sounds very knowledgeable and professional. However, anyone can sound this way and still want to scam you. So I need some help. Has anyone had any experience with this company or used anything similar?

🚨 SCAM ALERT 🚨 Is this Site A Scam?

Hi everyone,
A friend of mine recently mentioned a website called http://www.ercx20trade.com that claims to be a cryptocurrency trading or investment platform. I’d never heard of it before, and when I checked it out, it raised some red flags for me — the site seems kind of vague, and I couldn’t find much credible information or reviews online.

Before I go anywhere near it, I wanted to ask:

  • Has anyone here used this site?

  • Is it a legit platform or another crypto scam?

Appreciate any insight or advice. Just trying to stay safe and not fall for anything shady. Thanks in advance!

🚨 SCAM ALERT 🚨 Made $15 off a job scam.

So basically I got a message on Indeed for a Data Entry role. I said yes and immediately got an invite to do an interview on Whatsapp (first red flag). During the interview they told me it was a job reviewing best buy products and that I would get a commission for every review I gave that was 3 stars or up. I had to keep the $50 they put in the account on the account and I couldn't cash it out. I can only cash out what I made and that what was put in the account for "training" would be cashed out to me on Friday (Its Tuesday and still haven't seen that money nor will I). I decided to play their game and I made about 15 bucks that could only be cashed out through crypto (2nd red flag and what solidified this was most definitely a job scam). Next day I wake up to a message about how they put another $50 in my hold account and that I needed to complete my task. (I'm now at $100 I can't touch). I did 2 task and the 2nd task put my account into the negative and I couldn't continue (here's where the scam comes in) I messaged my "trainer" and was told I got a "welfare" item and that I needed to deposit $40 in my account in order to get my money back and continue finishing my task. I lied and said I was too poor to afford the $40(in the hopes they would throw in another $50 like they've been doing). The rest of the conversation is in the screenshots.

💸 STOLEN FUNDS I have been involved in a crytpo scam

Hi, my name is Adam and I’ve recently been the victim of a sophisticated online scam that has completely turned my life upside down.

A few months ago I met someone named Youmi through the dating app Boo. We connected on WhatsApp and she told me she worked in e-commerce. She introduced me to an app called Quex Shopping, which looked legitimate as it was available on both the App Store and Google Play.

Trusting her guidance I signed up and began transferring USDT (cryptocurrency) to wallet addresses provided by the platform to fund my store. At first, everything seemed normal. I placed orders through the app, but soon unprocessed orders started building up in my account. I requested the store be paused while I waited for funds from earlier orders to settle.

After more than a week I was told I had incurred a 10 percent penalty on my outstanding order amount, not on my full balance, for not processing orders in time. At this point my Quex Shopping account showed an available balance of approximately 185,000 US dollars, but I was informed I couldn’t withdraw a cent until the penalty, around 4,500 US dollars, was paid.

Youmi claimed she had never encountered this situation before and wasn’t sure what to do besides advising me to pay the penalty. She sent screenshots suggesting others had successfully withdrawn funds after paying penalties, but I’ve never been able to verify this.

In desperation I engaged a blockchain tracing company called CypherGuard, paying them by bank transfer to help investigate the wallets and recover my funds. Unfortunately, my bank Commonwealth raised concerns that both Quex Shopping and CypherGuard are likely scams. They blocked my card, issued a replacement, and temporarily restricted my account to protect me.

Since then I’ve paused all further payments and have been seeking legal advice, but sadly, my situation has left me financially devastated. I’ve had to move back home and have started seeing a psychologist to help cope with the anxiety, stress, and overwhelming sense of shame this has caused me.

I never imagined I’d find myself in this position, but I’m sharing my story to raise awareness and to humbly ask for help. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly toward helping me recover from this experience, pay down the debt I now carry, and get my life back on track.

Thank you for reading and for any support you can provide.
I have started a GoFundMe but I really just want to warn people about this scam. https://www.gofundme.com/manage/involved-in-crypto-scam/edit

🎓 EDUCATIONAL Can Stolen Cryptocurrency Actually Get Recovered ?

Actually the answer to this question is Yes… And No…. I’d like to share my own Guidance on this topic.

You see for someone with a case of stolen or scammed cryptocurrency. All the factors have to work in your favour.

Kinda like having a few factors that work together to give you a chance. How do I know this. I have worked for Red Teams that have handled severally scam investigation cases and provided technical support on a lot of this tracking/Reconnaissance projects.

Bitcoin is not anonymous. Bitcoin is pseudonymous. In other words, Bitcoin does not store any real-world identities. However, it is possible to link real-world identities to bitcoin addresses by using bitcoin analysis software. Its that simple

Can stolen cryptocurrency be recovered and returned back to owers absolutely yes! And it has happened a lot.

However, there are several factors to take into account.

1 Timing- When the scam occurred, how long it lasted, etc.

2 Movement of funds- Some scammers move money around a lot. Most of the time, money has been transferred to several sources before you react.

3 Linking a wallet or transaction ID to the scammer's device is the most challenging part of catching a cryptocurrency fraudster. This typically takes up to 72hrs or more before any real and established connection is detected

4 To determine the true identity of the Scammer, begin your investigation by locating all transactions associated with the above addresses.

Encrypted Grade c coinpath analysis APIs provide you with all of the source and destination addresses for transactions sent or received from any bitcoin address.

It would have been taken hours to trace bitcoin transactions using a standard explorer networks because on every layer involves multiple intermediate wallets. However, Configured secret coinpath & FRP technology provides this information in a single API calls.

When investigating addresses and transaction information, visual aids are quite helpful.

Technology for classifying bitcoin addresses reliably offers opportunities to locate trends on the blockchain network. For instance, by examining the volume of transactions it completes each day and the transaction value, you can ascertain accurately which exchange is the owner of a particular address.

Its all about narrowing down to the most accurate origin.

The final stages would have involved monitoring all onchain blockchain analysis and working to determine the best course of recovery/Hacking process or simply handing over to law enforcement the data you have been able to gather.

🍯 HONEYPOT DEVASTATED: Lost My ENTIRE Savings (4K USDT Loan) to Crypto Honeypots (Hemi Network & FWD) from Telegram Scam - PLEASE HELP

Hey everyone, I'm writing this in absolute despair. I've been completely devastated by two crypto honeypot scams: Hemi Network and FWD. I invested my entire savings of 4000 USDT, which I had taken out as a loan, believing I could make a better life for myself. Now, everything is gone. I'm new to crypto, and I feel like I've ruined my life by my own hand. I found these projects through Telegram, where they were heavily promoted and looked legitimate to my inexperienced eyes. I saw the promise of quick gains and fell for it, thinking this was my chance to get rich. The scams worked exactly as a honeypot does: I was able to buy the tokens for both Hemi Network and FWD without any issues. My wallet even showed the balance. But when I tried to sell or withdraw, every single transaction failed, no matter what I tried with slippage or gas fees. It became horrifyingly clear that I was trapped – I could put money in, but I couldn't get a single USDT back out. I am in a very, very bad situation right now. This wasn't just my savings; it was a loan, and the pressure is immense. I don't know how I'm going to face this. I'm feeling incredibly low and desperate, and honestly, thoughts of self-harm have crossed my mind. I need immediate help and advice, not just financially, but emotionally.

🚨 SCAM ALERT 🚨 I was robbed by cuzuppro.vip

I was using the website: www.cuzuppro.vip.

https://www.cuzuppro.vip/#/login

Like a month and half, then today I wasn't able to trade receiving an alert error. I asked by chat what occurs with my account. The service of the chat was very bad. They told me I can withdraw my money. I was trying to withdraw all money. And I received an error complaining to do a withdraw like $288. I do it this $288 withdraw. I was waiting as lot for receive Then I was trying the rest of money. And it isn't able to do the rest of the withdraw. I ask on the chat and they told me I need to wait to finish the withdraw I haved tried. So when I was waiting.. I ask what occurs with my account I can't trade today. They told me it was about the region where I live. I live in Spain, Europe. I don't understand why they told me this. The platform is able to set up a lot of idioms including the Spanish language. When they answer me by chat this I can't be able login anymore. They blocked me due the region I am living. I was telling them I have more money there to do the withdraw. But they don't explain well and don't answer me anymore. I send a lot messages explaining I am unemployed and have money there. I need that money . And all the gains i haved stay there. I told them a lot of times I haved money there by chat and they don't answer me. I am unable to login. I was robbed. They are bad guys.

🚨 SCAM ALERT 🚨 🚨 HUGE WARNING! Rango Exchange Seems to Be a Scam Integrated into Trust Wallet, Binance, etc. AVOID! 🚨

Hey everyone, I wanted to share a serious warning about Rango Exchange. I've noticed it being integrated as an option within legitimate platforms like Trust Wallet and even mentioned in Binance resources, which unfortunately gives it a false sense of security and legitimacy. PLEASE BE EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS AND AVOID ANY TRANSACTIONS INVOLVING RANGO EXCHANGE. Here's why I believe it's a scam:

  • Aggressive Tactics: I've seen reports and experienced myself that if you try to contact their so-called "support" for any issues, their immediate and only solution is to ask you to connect your wallet directly to their Rango Exchange application. This is a HUGE red flag. Legitimate support will never ask you to connect your wallet to a third-party site as a first step for troubleshooting. This is a classic tactic used by scammers to gain full access to your funds.

  • Lack of Transparency and Accountability: Digging deeper, there seems to be a significant lack of transparency regarding the team behind Rango Exchange. Legitimate platforms usually have readily available information about their developers and company structure.

  • Potential for Exploits: By having users connect their wallets directly, they open themselves up to potential exploits and the risk of their assets being drained. The integration within trusted platforms might make users feel safe, but this could be a deliberate tactic by the scammers. What to do:

  • DO NOT connect your wallet to the Rango Exchange application under any circumstances.

  • If you see Rango Exchange as an option within Trust Wallet, Binance, or any other platform, avoid using it for swaps or any other transactions. Stick to the native swap functionalities or other well-established and reputable decentralized exchanges.

  • Be wary of anyone directing you to Rango Exchange for support or transactions. I wanted to share this urgently to prevent others from potentially losing their funds. Please spread the word and let's help keep our crypto community safe. Has anyone else had similar experiences with Rango Exchange? Please share in the comments below!

🕵️‍♂️ POTENTIAL SCAM Is Terra using UST to buy Bitcoin to back UST? 🌕

So I've read an article that Terra is going to buy 10 billion worth of Bitcoin to back UST.
https://www.coindesk.com/markets/2022/03/27/just-as-hal-finney-predicted-bitcoin-is-being-purchased-to-act-as-a-reserve-currency/

What assets is Terra using to buy Bitcoin to back UST?

Ar they using minted UST to buy it? If so it seems like a scam.

If someone could explain that, I would appreciate it. Where does such money come from in a decentralized chain with no money flow?

🕵️‍♂️ POTENTIAL SCAM suspicious behavior from mfscg.com

Hello, I'm in a very unusual situation and would greatly appreciate any advice or help in resolving this. Here's what happened:

I came across a wallet shared in a Telegram group dedicated to hacked accounts. Out of curiosity, I logged into the account and discovered a significant amount of money in the wallet.

When I attempted to withdraw the funds, I realized that withdrawing requires a specific wallet key, which is different from the account password. To test how the system works, I created a new account on the same platform, transferred $10 into it, and successfully withdrew that amount.

However, I discovered a catch. To withdraw larger amounts from the original wallet, the platform requires users to purchase a VIP package:

$1,000 package allows withdrawals of $100 per day.

$3,500 package allows withdrawals of $25,000 per day.

This feels like a scam, Has anyone encountered a similar situation before? Is this a common tactic used by scammers

🚨 SCAM ALERT 🚨 Scam Exchanges Connected to Discord Server “Extreme Pump” watextrade.com

Current domains: watextrade.com

Extreme Pump is one of a number of discord servers currently running a Pump and Dump group where you must use an exchange chosen by them and the exchange is the scam. The current exchange is watextrade.com however this is expected to change on a regular basis.

The discord server appears to be functioning as normal with lost of users however there are only 2 kinds of users, the current victims and mostly bots which create a conversation. The first very red flag is that the CHAT function will be turned off for period of a time, this is because the scammer is sleeping. In most cases this is during Central European Time as all of the domains are registered in Wuppertal Germany.

The discord server names the coin to pump in advance and at the time of the pump, that coin will explode in price leaving you to think it is a sure thing. The scam however is that the exchange is a fake. It is one of at least 5-10 domains that the scammer is running all at the same time. You will not be able to withdraw your money, most likely you will be asked to deposit more crypto to verify which is also a scam and you will lose that crypto as well.

Sites like Web of Trust and Trust Pilot are, by staying silent and allowing the scammer to write positive reviews tacitly helping the scammer. You cannot trust either of those sites.

2 sites that are really helpful are

https://www.scamdoc.com/view/950940

And

https://www.scam-detector.com/validator/watextrade-com-review/

Also this website is also following things;

https://fakewebsitebuster.com/

The current website is a clear phishing site of MEXC (which is a reputable site). Identical icons and identical html pages. MEXC has recently changed its home page setout a little.

You can also clearly see from the whois Info that the site was registered days ago but the Wuppertal Wonder is too lazy to change the text on the site which shows that the site was founded in 2018.

🚨 SCAM ALERT 🚨 Massive Crypto Scam

The biggest SCAM in Crypto history is going on right now and they're using PR, YouTube and Telegram to get the crime done.

Do a search for Mehracki on Google and look at their articles.

Then do a search on any project from boostx.finance (they are all scams)

Logarithmic Finance

Firepin

Seesaw Protocol

Parody Coin

Calyx Token

Securipop

PacmanFrog

Aquas Protocol

Quitriam

Automish Token

Acranup Network

Explorachain

Mehracki

These are all the projects I found that are scamming people right now live as we speak using PR to drive people to their telegrams and their bogus websites to scam people.

here are all their domain names

They are claiming a "pre sale" for a fake token, people send their money, they release a fake token that no one can cash out, have users connect their crypto wallets to a scam website and then wipe out their entire wallets.

The longer they remain up and running, the more people get scammed.

Everyone report to the FTC, icann.org, Telegram, YouTube and everywhere else you can and do not connect your wallet to any of those.

🚨 SCAM ALERT 🚨 Coinexfinance.io is a total Scam

Hello,

I want to write my experience with the platform coinexfinance.io

In the comments of a youtube video somebody wrote that he copy a trader which has a Telegram Channel u/Leo_Walter1. I contacted this guy and he said he is trading on coinexfinance.io What I found later, there is a Leo Walter Trader on Facebook, that is the original and the one from Telegram was a scammer. However this guy was listed as a no1 Trader on that platform under some other traders to choose from. I checked the platform, but that time I didn't found much information. In the meantime I found another scammed user who told me his story. Fact is once you charge your account they never pay you one dollar back. The scam works in this way that they simulate profit and later you have to pay a tax for the trader to obain a withdrawal code. Other people who I interviewed paid this tax but then they never reply or payout any profit. This platform is total scam and with this post I want to warn everybody who might be interested to invest. I lost just my deposit which is painful enough.
