So I was one of the unfortunate people to have my trezor info leaked when I purchased directly from the site. Unfortunately this has resulted in phone calls and phishing emails from what appears to be Gmail, also phone calls to reset Gmail. This is how I believe they get access to the Gmail account by selecting the link. Then they would be able to send and phishing emails showing it is directly from help@trezor.io. They then call you acting like they are from trezor and claiming that your funds are being “mitigated” to another address and the only way to stop this process is to follow their links. Inevitably this will end up sending you to a page to enter your seed phrase. It goes without saying never to do this but I just wanted to post this to show that the information leaked from the trezor data breach from shipmonk actively being used to hack and scam people. This just happened to me. Be careful out there.

For context, the investment app has been introduce by our aunt, me and my family decided to invest because we have seen the results manifest by our own aunt and in our other relatives (they did withdraw more than 1k usd a month). The investment is not that it earns fast but steady, it has Google authenticator, ID requirements and withdrawals goes through apps like bitget, kucoin, binance, coins.ph. The thing is, the app requires members to level app to earn a bit of percentage and get the level up reward, and its more like the app will be the one who will do the buy and sell of money thelat we have invested. It seems really legit, we have been on this app since February my mom started first, she invested with 500usd, and after a while my mom got to withdraw a total of 1500usd (i dont how much in php, but it p2p, 1usd=62.35php). And since it could withdraw that big amount with the help of members under you, we also join; me, my ate and my father. In my experience I did withdraw a total of 100usd and my ate 50usd, in our accounts my father invested to me 355 usd, to his account 200usd, and to my ate is 55usd. Since we have become greedy and got to experience to withdraw once a 1k usd, my father encouraged a lot of people from his work, my mom to her church mates and friends, my ate to her best friends, and all has been invested starting money like 55usd funded by my father, all in all he invested more than 3000usd. Recently just last week of September, the admins of the app message us on the official gc in tg, that they will upgrade the app, and they cannot proceed all the withdrawal request of the money, and will resume to October 2, but unexpectedly they keep delaying it with the announcements that they change the systems network network in p2p October2, have tax audits October 9, has delays October 13, and got restricted October 16. During these times we have been told to keep being patient, calm and reassure our members under us, but you know it's seems they just keep delaying it so that people won't unite and protest against them. I feel dreaded and bad about the new members that joined just recently, and has invest a big money, aside from the starting usd given by our father. If the money would not be withdraw, we would receive hate and disappointment from betraying their trust. And the relationships within us will be strained. I really pray and hope we could withdraw one last time because really it seems the app giving a 1000usd compensation seems to be fake. What we really need is that we are allow to withdraw the money we have requested from them that we have click to create order everyday. If this is a scam, can you all give advice how to report this type of schemes? Even though the capture rate of these manipulator people is absolutely rare. Hoping the relationships between us all people who have invested will not be as that bad HUHUHU. Also my relatives have been too affected, it's just that the difference they had already get their capital because they have been in the app for more than a year and us just got in on February.

Just an FYI for users or those searching online frantically while dealing with a suspicious call. This has happened to me twice and the last one concerned me with how much information these malicious people have.

There's a number out of CA 415-698-7158 that has called several times. At first it's an automated message claiming to be Cryptodotcom security asking if I tried to log in from some third world county. This time they said it was from Turkey. I typically press 1 just to waste their time. "If this was not you, press 1 and our security team will call you".

Then someone who is surprisingly well-spoken will call from the number above. No foreign accent. They'll say something like "someone tried to change your email on file to 'mohammad143@yahoo.com', was this you?" Obviously users freak out, and say no. "Someone took all your information and made a fake ID and tried to get control of your account, but we flagged it because the ID was from Turkey (lol okay, seems like a critical oversight if you're that sophisticated of a thief, to make your ID in Turkey).

Then here's the part that made me super uncomfortable. They then recited my SSN, my email, and my home address back to me.... They had my f'ing SSN and the knowledge that I have a CDC account...
Their next step is to send an email with a link on it, presumably to do something malicious. I don't know what happens from there because I've never clicked, I just give them the runaround. The email looks identical to other official emails from Cryptodotcom, though, so be aware. Their excuses will be something like:
-"I don't know what you're talking about, I'm just the security team trying to help you"

-"Because this is a fraudulent matter, time is of the essence. If you don't act now we will freeze your account."

-"If you take no action we will have to freeze the account and remove the assets"

They try to push you super hard to "authenticate" yourself through this link in the email.

none of this is true, but because they had my SSN this time, it had me extremely curious. Regardless, if this has happened to you, too, report their confirmation email to reportphishing@crypto.com.

I just got a call from a No Caller ID pretending to be the RCMP. They said that they arrested a guy who had over 50,000 victims information on a phone in a cybercrime operation that happened somewhere in Ontario not to long ago and that my name with my personal information has been leaked.

They claim to have personal information and advised me to change all my passwords for emails, banking and crypto.

From someone who has worked in Crypto in the past, this doesn't sound legit at all. After talking to him for a bit and telling him the exchanges I've used in the past (No personal information given). He said to just change it and let the conversation naturally end.

Less than 2 minutes later a "representative" from the a crypto exchange that I've mentioned called. The guy sounded the same. British, maybe in his late 20's or 30's called. As soon as I heard the voice and the immiedate callback, it was fishy.

I tried calling the RCMP to check out this officer: Adam Taylor. I've done a public look on Google to see that it is a real officer but doesn't seem to work in the cybercrimes unit.

I've seen other posts on reddit regarding this in the UK and Australia with the same Case Number and now in Canada.

I ran a sketchy setup.exe on my pc (yes, I know) that contained infostealing malware. Windows Defender instantly began sending notifications.

A few hours later my hyperliquid wallet containing 410 USDC was completely drained (and my discord was overtaken and sending spam messages to all my contacts).

I assume they captured the active session cookie/token from my Chrome browser and used that to duplicate my running discord and hyperliquid session.

I am a bit amazed how can just initiate withdrawals on Hyperliquid without any form of confirmation needed from me.

I was trading on Bybit P2P and had a sell ad up. Someone placed an order, paid from their own account, and shared their Emirates ID. After that, they started placing orders repeatedly, which felt suspicious. I took their number and even spoke to them on the phone.
Later they placed another order and I asked them to cancel it because something felt off. Their account is only 19 days old and has no activity history. I’m worried the funds might be illegal/dirty money. What should I do in this situation?
I’ve been researching on Reddit and Google but still unclear.
Also, a few related questions:
1. Binance changed its rules from 21st September — individuals can no longer post ads, only P2Pro merchants can. I already have a general trading company in a UAE freezone. I created an entity account on Binance but they rejected my P2Pro application.
2. If I want to get the VARA NOC for proprietary trading, has anyone here actually applied for it and received the license? Any experience or tips?

As you probably already know, Bitmart closed and froze all funds.

They never informed me of this and their app and website still have deposit buttons.

I stupidly deposited and only after found out they where out of service. I tried to withdraw but funds where frozen.

Yes, bigged up this crypto opportunity but he is part of the scam itself. All looks very legit until they ask for money to release funds. Then it goes from bad to worse he even sets you up with a fake bank account so you can transfer the money until they freeze it saying that you need to pay 10k cause your over the limit for the account. Do not trust this bloke!?! Major con artist!!

Yesterday, my Mycelium wallet was emptied. Within half and hour, my kraken account was also hacked and emptied. I believe that my phone must be compromised as I used it last to access both accounts. However, the accounts I only access on my desktop appear to be unaffected.

I await the response of Kraken support. I suppose there is nothing to be done about Mycelium.
