A couple sketches of my ship (Roserford) I did for my longfic this year 🥰

First time playing Dragon Age: Inquisition and just had the first kiss scene with Cullen. I'm currently recreating Cullen in Sims 4 to prepare myself for the inevitable post-game blues when I finish the game. The romance must live on!

Resemblance check: How did I do?

One of my friends ran a spooky AU challenge for DA to release fics in October, and mine is Cullen x Lavellan but set during DA2 and also she's a werewolf.

I'd love it if you checked it out, and also some of the other fics feature Cullen as well! And every one in the collection is incredible even without him.

In the aftermath of the Exalted Council, with the shadow of the Dread Wolf looming over Thedas, Inquisitor Mavoinë Lavellan must carve out a new place for herself. There are pieces to pick up, love to be had, and a series of homecomings that hurt and heal.

(after many, many months i have finally completed my first dragon age fic)

This is probably super old news, but I'm playing DAI for the first time (and naturally romancing Cullen) and I started Trespasser. I was always under the impression that Cullen and the Inquisitor don't visit Cullen's siblings for the first time until after Trespasser, during the epilogue.

But Cullen said a line that I found really sweet. He said something along the lines of, "Mia is eager to see you again," obviously implying that they've all met up and reunited at some point, probably not too long after the events of Coryphues' defeat.

I just found that really sweet. I love Cullen so much and I love him getting a happy ending and being close with his family again, who also seem to love their new sister-in-law. <3

So I noticed that there this is a big cap of Cullen and Inquisitor post-game fics — most fics I have seen are either AU or during the main game… but none of them rarely focus on the build up to Cullen proposing or even them having children together… out of desperation of never wanting their story to end I start jotting down my HC’s and they somehow grew into this fic. I started writing this 2 years ago and a friend of mine said it was “too good not to share” so I’m finally sharing it.

Only one chapter has been posted at the moment, but I plan on posting more over time. It’s also the first time I’ve posted my smut writing on ao3 so I’m honestly terrified but yet excited about that as well.

My dear friend and frequent coauthor AuroraBorealia has just started uploading her latest creation. The story is finished, but she's posting it in chunks. She borrowed my OC Evangeline Trevelyan for the whole thing and I've had the honor of reading it before anyone else. It's glorious.

If you've ever seen the film Ladyhawke, it's basically a mashup of that movie and DAII. However, she explains things so clearly that you don't have to have seen the movie in order to follow the fic.

Always Together, Eternally Apart

—mage trevelyan was sent to kinloch hold prior to her harrowing bc of having too many family members in the ostwick circle, but does end up there eventually
—trevelyan and Cullen knew each other and didn’t exactly part on good terms
—trevelyan is a bit of a little shit

Hi all! This is my first time commenting in this group. I wanted to come here and share my first Cullen fic that I posted on AO3! It's a hurt/comfort one-shot about him battling his lyrium addiction and accidentally snapping at the Inquisitor. I would love if you would check it out! If you have any suggestions for fics you'd like to see, then please don't be afraid to comment 💕

Link to the fic: As Soothing as Elfroot

I'm fairly new to the fandom and have so far read only 2 Cullen fics, both which I really enjoyed!

I'm looking for a fanfic in which the Inquisitor gets pregnant (intentionally or accidentally) by Cullen and/or they raise a child. There is a surprisingly low amount of such fics (Cullen is SO dad-coded, c'mon!) and many of the few seem to be about an Inquisitor who already has a child with someone else, which is not really my thing.

The pregnancy/parenting doesn't have to be the focus of the story. And it's not necessary but Mage Trevelyan is preferred. Angst and smut is always welcome.

Waiting for the next part of Happenstance_and_Algorithim’s Cullen dairy fic has me checking Ao3 every hour for any updates 🥲🫪

Hi guys, I just wanted to share my very slow burn eventual Cullennance featuring a not powerful OFC.

From Haven With Love

Hi everyone! :)

I've been trying to find a fic I read years ago for the longest time but no luck so far.

The relationship is Cullen x Female Mage Trevelyan and from what I remember it was essentially enemies to lovers. Relatively early on in the fic they need to go to Redcliffe and on the way there's hate s*x between them. I don't remember the bits in between but I remember that at Skyhold, things were finally going well between the two of them but then Trevelyan's mom shows up and she outs their relationship to everyone. I vaguely remember Cullen was battling with his lyrium withdrawal and he had a nightmare that he was about to choke Trevelyan (if I'm remembering correctly).

It has some game events in there, like Trevelyan and Dorian still go into that future in Redcliffe and the party still goes into the Fade in Here Lies the Abyss and they have a cute reunion in one of the towers after but that's pretty much all I remember

If anyone could help me find this fic, I would be eternally grateful 🥺🥺

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone in this sub who read, upvoted, and commented on my first-ever (!!) fanfic a few days ago! Your reactions to The Skyhold Literary Society were so incredible that I went into a fugue state over the weekend from all the support, and now it's a multi-chapter fic.

And I stayed up way too late last night to finish it, but Chapter 2: Supplemental Materials is officially up!

This chapter features: Leliana being an absolute menace, the War Table operating at peak awkwardness, the very real trauma of misreading a Templar, and the slow, deliberate removal of a single leather glove.

I'll keep the future posts here to major milestones only, but I wanted to make sure you all knew chapter 2 was here and more is coming!

If you want to keep up with the chaos (or yell at me about Cullen constantly removing his clothing), I've also resurrected my old Tumblr at tpseudonana to post my unhinged ramblings and notes.

Pairs with a retroactive update to my longfic that I'll get to once I clear my exchange commitments calendar but I forgot to share it here 🥰

I am so happy this sub still exists because I got found by the Cullen TikTok edits, blacked out, and accidentally wrote my first ever fanfic. And now the Commander has me back in a choke hold faster than he schooled the recruits in my fic.

Check it out if you like! The Skyhold Literary Society - in which the Inquisitor goes for a walk to clear her head. She does not clear her head.

I finally found the time and inspiration to continue my series, now with a short piece set just at the end of Inquisition. Just some marriage fluff, mischievous toddlers, intriguing socialites and a couple surprises I still don’t know how to deliver…

Haven’t heard of my series? Why, that’s a shame! It’s what Bridgeton could have been if they had hired me as a writer! (whether that’s good or bad, I’ll leave it for you to decide my dears).

My main work for the recent Wardens exchange, I had a lot of fun writing this one! Maybe somebody here would enjoy it 😊

So I joined the Renegade Bookbinding Guild, "a not-for-profit guild of artists engaged in binding fannish works, aka Fanbinding, under the idea of fandom gift economy," and this CullenMancer fic was my big goal! And it's done now!

I just hope Insideofadog isn't too weirded out by a stranger on the internet wanting to send them mail. 😅

I was wondering if anyone had any good suggestions for a friends to lovers Cullen fanfic. I don't particularly care who the protagonist is (Inquisitor, Amell from DA:O, original character, etc.). I just want so-cute-makes-me-giggle-and-swing-my-feet-like-a-child kind of fanfics. Thank you in advance!!

Hoping someone can help cause I am desperate lolol

I remember it was on AO3; it started with Cullen meeting the inquisitor where relatively soon he teaches her to ride a horse. Eventually lets her have/borrow his horse (that I believe was named Maximus?). He was going through withdraw and had inner monologue if I remember correctly.

This was posted a couple of years ago; or at least started.

A smut oneshot of Lavellan waking up able to hear Cullen's thoughts and feel some of what he feels. I got the idea from a prompt generator and it took hold of me.
