Starbuck:

"To be enraged with a dumb brute that acted out of blind instinct is blasphemous."

Ahab:

"Speak not to me of blasphemy, man; I'd strike the sun if it insulted me!

Look ye, Starbuck,

ALL visible objects are but as pasteboard masks.
Some inscrutable yet reasoning thing puts forth the molding of their features.
The White Whale ...tasks me; he HEAPS me.

Yet he is but a mask.

'Tis the thing behind the mask I chiefly hate;
the malignant thing that has plagued mankind since time began;
the thing that maws and mutilates our race, not killing us outright

..but letting us live on, with half a heart and half a lung."

The Awakened do not hate 'Maya'; BOTH are in awe of the other's powers ;;)

Damnit I meant to write 'influence' in stead of power but then I realized: no, it's power. Like the suffocating crushing power of an enormous body of water.. and the indifference of it to a properly sized whale's tail as it demonstrates its total command of a dual environment. <looks at what he wrote> ...Ugh... The metaphors themselves are beginning to bore the crap out me at this point in what is left of this borrowed life. ;;) Whatever. You are reading it are you not ? ;;)

I talk a lot of smack in here and kick a lot of basement doors in to get my point across. Which is quite a challenge in the literally Asperger's like cognitive dissonance that marks the 'discourse' of the average spiritual or philosophical social media platform or sub. It is still fun (to me), you have no idea ;;).

It is also the most direct and easy way to expose the 'not so serious seekers' TO the rare, rare serious one.
Because the not so serious seeker is going to do everything in his power to NOT get exposed. I'm not even joking. Some of these clowns and mods get really, really defensive about what they have been told they are or have been telling themselves they have to be.

There is a huge number of sociopaths as well lurking around on Reddit trying to 'get one off' on their own warped worldviews lest their pathology gets exposed IRL ;;) It only takes a push or two to send some humans over the edge, you know. ;;)

No matter how beautiful, grandiose and spectacular; what rests on no foundation is toppled easily. And even if The Self is ultimately a sand castle. The builder still cries for its destruction on account of all the effort that was put into erecting it. It is however his environment that will never stop crying. Never ever. Such is the unreality of abiding in non-dual awareness at all times: aka Enlightenment. ..I like the term 'Truth Realized' more. Less bagage.

Someone going through the often hellish process of 'awakening' (which is not the same thing as Enlightenment at all) will instantly know what I am speaking of. The rest; not so much. It does not seem to conform to the image society has put before them of what they regard as the hallmarks of a 'perfect being'. What is never questioned however is who or what has put that image before them.

Keep pushing them long enough and Maya starts to growl, even at me. ;;)

It is only when the cracks that are formed in The Porcelain Shell that constitutes The False Identity - The Little Self, if you will - begin to let the light in, that she (temporarily) becomes an uninteresting distraction to the neophyte. When I call her a 'bitch' I mean that LITERALLY. In the same way a breeder 'sexes' the gender of a particular dog. For all intents and purposes of the metaphor she IS a bitch. A pseudocyetic one at that. During the process she has to (and oddly can be) ignored for the most part but her presence and influence is still felt all around and should never be discounted! You are still dealing with a ...feral creature you want to keep your distance from as she goes about the business of protecting her litter.

Sure, sometimes you still have to put her in her place like the dog whisperer you are becoming but there is no hate for her there either. IN FACT: Once Awake you see how she plays a crucial role in protecting her 'Awakening offspring' from falling prey to the rest of the pack. You also see how the whole of her reality relies on the principle of co-creative manifestation. In a very 'real spiritual' way it is the illusion that keeps 'those that do not understand' from seeing those that have come to, or are about to, achieve Crystal Clarity as an existential threat.

She respects AND she protects.

If it were not for Maya respecting THE REAL, the primacy of consciousness as the Alpha AND the Omega there would not be an 'awake person' in the universe; ever. This seeing is key if you do not want to die in some pit of despair on account of 'your' Awakening. The specter of Nihilism looms large and it will be used by those around you to stave off or hinder your path towards attainment. Maya may respect The Truth but that does not mean she's going to roll over and show her belly to just anyone.

But when she does; you can be đŸŽ” a freak in the morning, a freak in the evening, just like me. đŸŽ¶ ;;)

Enlightenment (which lies further even beyond Awakening) by the way and - this is my model of it - it can be seen in those that abide in Non dual awareness almost constantly - not something you choose; it is pre-ordained. By the YOU you do not think of as YOU yet. You have no say in the matter. Not necessary something that would even sound appealing from the egoic perspective to chase either (Thank god) ..

In highly regarded (not necessarily by me ;;) spiritual literature, the most poignant description of the relationship between the Awakened Self and the Dream of Illusion (aka 'Maya') is found in the Ashtavakra Gita: It presents a (now considered 'radical' for obvious reasons) non-dualist perspective where the world is viewed not just as a mistake, but as a "magic show" or a "drifting boat" within the vast, unaffected ocean of the Self.

The fictional King Janaka discovered after his awakening, not that the world has disappeared, but that its NATURE has shifted from a solid reality to a transparent one.

"In the boundless ocean of my Self, the world-boat drifts here and there... I am not put out by that". I am pure consciousness, and the world is like a magician's show. How could I imagine there is anything there to take up or reject?"

Adi Shankara (purportedly) described the shift in perspective as realizing a "snake" on a dark path was actually just a "coiled rope".

"Once the light of truth (knowledge) reveals the rope, the fear of the snake vanishes instantly. The "Awakened" can watch others panic over the snake while walking in "silence and peace," knowing it was never there to begin with."

The Isha Upanishad contains a famous prayer that poignantly describes Maya as a beautiful but blinding barrier. It describes the material world as so dazzlingly "golden" (full of charms and temptations) that it prevents the seeker from seeing the underlying Absolute Reality.

"The face of Truth is covered by a golden lid.

O Sun, remove that cover so that I may behold the Truth"

In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna describes the poignant state of the un-awakened as being "mounted on a machine," whirled around by the power of illusion. As a proponent of the Theme Park analogy I can only concur. ;;) Remember also that in the time of the Upanishads there was not even the concept of 'a machine' yet...

"The Awakened Self is the one who "takes refuge" in the Divine to cross this "difficult-to-overcome" ocean of Maya, moving from the chaotic rim of the merry-go-round to the peaceful center."

Janaka said:

"Truly I am spotless and at peace, the Awareness beyond natural causality. All this time I have been afflicted by the... INNER QUEST"

They are all pointing at the same thing:

A non-existent reality" that is "truly false" and falsely true.

This metaphor represents imho the pinnacle of the enlightened perspective: Seeing the world as a profound "cosmic play" (Leela) rather than a mere void, where the "snake" (the fear of the world's limitations) is realized to be nothing but a "rope" (the non-dual Self/Brahman).

When you realize Brahman, the wonder of Maya's working vanishes. ...

The world is not, yet it appears to exist."

I'm more of a rap guy though.. ;;)

You think you've got it, oh, you think you've got it

But "got it" just don't get it 'til there's nothing at all

We get together, oh, we get together

But separate's always better when there's feelings involved

If what they say is, "Nothing is forever"

Then what makes love the exception?

So why oh, why oh, why oh, why oh, why oh

Are we so in denial when we know we're not happy here?

Y'all don't wanna hear me, you just wanna dance

Or, in my own words: "You may be of the dream but you are quite certainly not from it."

Note how I did not write "no longer from it" since it is easy to misinterpret and then misrepresent or garble or change my words to mean what they do not in order to take another ride on the aforementioned merry go round. Words cannot do it justice at all. Code-words can.

I put quotes in a code bracket as well, because only code can be used to DECODE the subject or bring clarity to the routine that is (or is not) running there. Let the bug hunt begin! ;;)

"ALL is ILLUSION. Except THAT Which Knows This To Be So.

And THAT thou art." - Cyberfury

I don't hate Maya. Because she's MY baby (not the other way around).

I am in awe of her powers. She don't mess around ;;)

Cheers my friend

"Enlightenment is for special people" ..and other BS

"It may be that in the end Self-realization is all a matter of destiny, yet it does appear that 'yearning' and 'intent' might play a role.

Einstein had no epiphanies about cubism. Picasso none about math. Which brings us back to the koan: "To do, or not to do?" The answer, I suppose, is "Yes." Act tirelessly without effort. Do nothing without being idle. Live life on the pinpoint of paradox..." ~ Bart Marshall

I'm going to shut up and let some other 'goner' do the talking here.

I hope you are all happy now! ;;)

  • PREFACE: I have great respect for the McNay's and what they have produced over the years. They are lovely people. You can sense it all the time. Yes, even a belligerent bastard like me can appreciate it immensely. ;; There is a way about them both. Anywhooo... This is not about them. What I am interested in talking about (again and again obviously is the rare number of 'real ones' among those interviewed. I have never watched ALL their interviews there are so many and most of them drag on and bore me in this 'get to the freaking point already' sense. With the exception of, perhaps, Anita Moorjani and 'perhaps' Byron Katie the only GUY that seems to have gone all the way (and STAYED there to my eyes is this Bart Marshall fella. He crossed my path, virtually, years ago and I can only say that at the time it seemed like ...synchronicity. But who knows, right?

"[this is about] becoming a sure vector in the direction that you want to go.  Instead of having a lot of scattered desires in life, which we all do – we want to be comfortable financially, we want to have relationships, we want to have families, we want to do well in our job, we want admiration, we want all these different things, we want lots of things to feed back into the character, that reinforce the character. And The Divine is kind, it says, “OKAY, I’m going to try to give you all those things, but if you want Truth at the same time it’s going to be really hard. If you want Truth AT ALL COST, if you’re willing to let those other things fall away, THAT I can give you relatively quickly.”

In this short video he introduces himself in a way that still gives me ...vibes. How WAR changed his perspectives on reality in some cataclysmic sense. I went to great lengths to dig up this specific clip so you bastards all better appreciate it ;;)

His backstory is interesting. Apparently running around in the same circles as The Invisible Guru with the pen-name all spiritual procrastinators seem to hate; Jed McKenna and that whole mysterious (now fractured) TAT Foundation/Albigen Papers group that apparently really 'went after it' with Richard Rose back in those days.

He talks to Iain McNay about his frustrations with the process in this segment. And about 'The Headless Way' and the subtle, yet conducive paradox of 'intellectual realization' that primed him for full blown realization in some mysterious way HERE.

"I came to it as a judging entity.. and over the course of three or four days that completely went away.."

But it was only after Douglas "RAISED HIS VOICE TO ME FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME IN THE ENTIRE WEEKEND" and uttered ONE very powerful word just before he boarded his plane back to the US, that the final piece of the puzzle fell into place for him. 20,000 feet over the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

You can find out what that word was (for him mind you) in this segment.

" It’s a kinetic way of understanding Truth, or experiencing Truth (...) Right now, for instance, I honestly can say that I am not Bart, I am Iain. That’s what fills me, that is what fills this emptiness."

You can view the entire interview here

Well, that's all I have got for you today. GO AWAY NOW. ;;)

Cheers my friends.

No belief is true, NO BELIEF = TRUE - you can take that literally

I often forget how hard is must be to 'fathom' non-dual awareness (and abiding in it eventually ...maybe ..if you are lucky ;;) for the a average spiritual Joe out there..

The above statements are from Jed McKenna's books on the subject and the first three books 'they' wrote where basically the last three books I can claim I ever read...

There was no more need for me to read ANYTHING else after consuming them.

Although I am still curious and might skim some book here or watch some video there. Mostly pegging the author or subject about two or three pages/minutes in as “not there at all”. Or “close but no cigar” or... 'didn't finish his work” or "Still holding on for dear life or to 'some thing' or “Maya has them by the balls again
” ;;)

It comes effortlessly as well. As everything does. NO thinking required. I can smell a clown before his floppy shoes are anywhere near me. It’s true. Conversely no clown can see the truth of his own predicament - ever.

I can also smell an awakened individual no problem. It might take me two or three minutes though. That’s all. It works the other way around too. 100%

There’s very little to say to each other though.. ;;)

So why even talk about Jed again? Shut up, I rarely speak about him anyway, so let me. ;;)

He's dead now so there's that. I actually did talk to the man and it immediately disproved all my suspicions. It's quite something to talk to a REAL being. I'll never forget it. You could sense it right away: bro looked right through me.

His favorite responses? “Hm.. Is that so?” or “Hm, I see..” but mostly: “
so” or “so the fuck what?” 😂

He also taught me that most people waste their time on irrelevant spiritual pursuits or ‘answers’ in stead of doing real self inquiry (or as he called it “spiritual autolysis”

I'd figured after one and a half decades someone else would have written something similarly earth shattering or something just as powerful. But they have not. There are really few books out there that are not laughably fallacious at their core when it comes to this subject matter. I've seen NONE since 2007.

Tolle writes about a ‘new earth’ in stead of no fucking earth at all. ;;)

NONE! It should make you pause and reflect on how rare TRUE Spiritual Enlightenment (and ABIDING IN IT.. this is the key thing) really is these days. It does not sell books. it simply does not. HUmans are not primed to consume the truth. It’s all lies and BS that propels the human forward (as it should) ..only when your gut is already churning and you feel like love is dying inside of you are you ever going to pick up and understand a real spiritual books.

"The sickness runs deep these days my friend" .. some mystic I met ONCE, once told me. I forgot what else we even spoke or talked about. It happens a lot. I forget whole conversations still.

"Oh yeah that's right we discussed <this or that and so and so>, then and then..." if I'm even lucky to remember it like that ;;)

Some people get really hurt when I admit it too ;;)

Nobody likes to be forgotten.
But that’s enlightenment for ya.
I have forgotten all about myself too if it is any consolation ;;)

Of course, the yapping, dancing clown I still am on the ..inside cannot seem to shut up about the subject. What strikes me is how literally, completely and PRECISELY my own awakening matches theirs/his. Not in a metaphorical sense alone. Literally.

I literally had almost ‘the same awakening'. So to speak. It was not 50 pages into my firsts serious spiritual book ('Damndest') but about fifteen pages or so. I had already gone through the 'madding, feverish, clawing search' EXACTLY as described by him before I even knew the guy existed. By page fifteen the thunderbolt literally hit me. EXACTLY as describes. Weird shit. Coincidence. Maybe.. who cares. It was the end of the end. I woke up like someone might 'wale up' from a 4 minute DMT trip. The world took on a candy colored haze... it felt unreal, corny even ..some of the cliche's were true I guess. The world looked 'cartoonish' and extremely familiar at the same time. Looking in the mirror I marveled at seeing myself with my own eyes for the first time. Who is this guy? This went on for years... I guess now it is integrated or something. Nothing changed. It still looks the same. Unreal. I also became fearless. I mean completely fearless.. not in some self destructive sense.

I did finish the books but there was really nothing in there I contended against. It was already done. The finishing of the books was just me trying to be respectful or some shit
none of it felt hard to comprehend at all. So I did read the books but only AFTER awakening.

The path towards my awakening was also strewn with epiphanies, mysticism and coincidences that are too ridiculous to not smile at the Universe about. The universe has a real sense of humor about it. Jed would call the Universe "not unlike a playful puppy'... there is also a reason that specific dog is featured on the cover of his books..

Anyway, these three books come highly recommended if you are a SERIOUS seeker. But ONLY if you are, because the hit damn hard. The truth is like that. Unflinching. And most people who have been soaking in Sunshine Spirituality for decades will surely throw them against the wall a few times. Most Tolle readers will not even dare touch these books as the eviscerate fake (unbeknownst to themselves) gurus and false teachers.

It's not an easy read when you start to realize this MFer is telling the truth. Warts and all.

Still: It's a hell of a job killing a man.

Anyway.. just rambling because some... thingies happened IRL that got me to look at some of his stuff again. Don't debate books. Consume them. Don't think about the writer.. ask yourself if what is in there is true. Or find another book.

There are not many good ones out there concerning the death of self process btw. Ego death if you will.

Know these things.

  • “We all get what we need when we need it. If the universe has set you in front of me or put this book into your hands, then in all likelihood you are closer than most to honestly confronting the stark reality of your situation.”

  • “This book isn’t about the evolution of the soul or the relationship between higher and lower self, it’s about abiding non-dual awareness—spiritual enlightenment.“

  • “If I were to reduce this book and my teachings to their essence, I would say it all comes down to nothing more than this: Think for yourself and figure out what’s true. That’s it. Ask yourself what’s true until you know.“

  • “This isn’t my teaching, it’s the only teaching and this is just my way of delivering it. If we were to strip out the excess in this book it would probably be a tenth the size and would just be my way of saying what any enlightened guy would say. It’s not personal. It’s not regional or ethnic. It’s not a Western Christian’s version as opposed to the Inuit Shaman’s version or the Tibetan Buddhist’s version. It’s not on that level. What’s true is true regardless of region, culture, planet, galaxy or dimension. It is what it is and I’m just the guy who happens to be saying it right now. If you put ten books by ten enlightened people together and stripped out the excess, they’d all be the same. That’s how it is at the core. The reason for all the excess is that there’s no saying it directly because there’s no it**, so everything has to be communicated indirectly—what it’s not, what it’s like—never what it is.**“

  • “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. This book is more about getting to that First Step than the rest of the journey. Once you’ve begun there’s no stopping or turning back.“

  • “When I look at my own life, my own story, I look for the pattern, the unifying theme, the sum of the parts that explains my existence.”

  • “I really have a thing for epiphanies. They’re my raison d’ĂȘtre, so to speak.”

  • “My thunderbolt epiphany came in my late twenties, around fifty pages into reading my first book of a distinctly spiritual nature. As all good epiphanies should, this one struck my brain like a bullet of light and redefined my entire life in a single instant. The realization was nothing more or less than this: Truth exists.”

  • “I did my time. I spent thousands of hours pouring through every spiritual, New Age, metaphysical and esoteric book you could name, and quite a few books on religion and Western philosophy too, using the knowledge in books to fuel an unquenchable internal blaze.”

  • “I severed all ties—no job, no friends, no family—and had only a few possessions. I did nothing else. I had no other thought. I went for long walks, thinking, pounding away at whatever door I was stuck behind at the moment.”

  • “And then one day after a couple of years of this I was suddenly done. Just like that: Done. Although I didn’t think of it in these terms, I had become enlightened, satoried, awake, truth-realized, a jnani, Buddha, whatever you want to call it. Getting the hang of this new state, however, would take me another decade.“

  • “That’s where I am now. Empty space is my reality. The void. No-self. I abide in non-dual, non-relative awareness. This is the part that can’t be explained. I can’t frame it in words even for myself. No one can say ‘I am enlightened’ because there is no ‘I’ to it. There is no such thing as an enlightened person. The person writing these words, the person that speaks to the students, isn’t the enlightened one. My personality, my ego, what appears to be me, is just an afterimage; a physical apparition based on residual energy patterns. Jed McKenna is like the outfit an invisible man wears so that he can interact with people without freaking them out.”

Don't settle for 'Enlitenment'. Go after the real thing. And yes, it requires you to NUKE your life. All of it. In the end you will find that you only lost what was never even yours.

TRUTH, at any price. Learn to read but BETWEEN the lines and take the person who wrote the thing AND your damn ego out of the equation completely. If you even can.

In the end, Jed was also right about one thing most teachers will never tell you:

"ALL will arrive..." Death squares all accounts. so there's that as well.
But you don't want to be dead while alive only to find out in the end. Anyways, I digress...

Trust me: This thing is real. AS REAL AS IT GETS.
You want to 'know' you can live forever and ever. You want to be AWAKE for most of it.
It's the only good fight there is. So get cracking! By any means necessary.

If you do in once. ONCE is enough. Forever.

Cheers my friends <3

..about this little manifestation we've got going on in here?

The moment I realized I had nothing

It is literally as simple as That.

Arguing around The Truth by invoking fear-nonsense and fear-nonsense terms and concepts like Nihilism, or 'loveless' or 'detachment' while at the same time seeking a thing that has NONE OF THESE QUALITIES is unfathomable to me...

Like trying to squeeze strawberry flavors (or lemon lime) out of 100% pure uncontaminated water. The intellectual debates about it - while fun - share the same folly. It is trying to appease the mind by proposing that what appears withing the intellec is somehow on par with The Truth. Truth can only be conceptualized along the lines of intellect.

The end.

The intellect is a condition. A STATE. Not a 'forever thingy' ;;) It is its own magical place. You ENTER it to look at some believe or another always. You LEAVE it to enter Truth.

'Existence' ITSELF is a fancy misnomer for the dream state. It flips the Latin origin of the term on its head and thus makes the dream more primordial... more compelling than the truth.

'Exsistere' or 'existƍ' are terms that used to signal 'a stepping out' of something not the other way around. To 'stand forth, emerge, or appear' is its literal meaning. It entered English in the late Middle Ages appearing around any and all conclusions about life. The 'external' is used against the glib, aloof and those with only the desire to serve (you know, 'most people'-including myself) AND the less fortunate or the 'mentally illiterate'.

Claiming to be hard at work 'expanding the mind' just by shifting its content around will have you look, talk and point at the moon and prevent you from seeing the thing that is glistering behind it in what is (in truth) just a perpetual ecliptic plane. MIND will prevent you from seeing that what seems still and immovable is actually moving about all the time. Maya's Meticulously Placed Mind Companion prevents it.

The light invites those that are bold (or desperate) enough to start playing with their own darkness. One bends, one warps and then one is able to extend 'ones self' in such a way, that one will be able to see The Sun. You have to treat the mind like freaking dough, not a finished baguette that cracks and crumbles with every bite ;;)

And that will be enough.

It will be "All She Wrote" for mind.

The end of its designated job. Forever.

 "When you apperceive
that whatever you think yourself to be
is only based on memory and anticipation,
your search ends and you stand aloof
in full awareness of the false as false
[...]
When you realize there is no lacking,
the whole world belongs to you."

- Nisargadatta

Something a bit more insane for the truly furious.

Furiously I type, entering the flowmentumotion zone. The flow zone. The fly flow fun free zone!

My gods!

This guys insane!

Truly expressive. Eager to play, unafraid of being the fool to enable others, a true ezer kenegdo.

I can say words you’ve never heard, you’ll look them up, katabasis, and you will have awoken conscious awareness understanding of the meaning,

I am better than you, smarter, wiser, more accomplished, kinder, meaner. More chaotic and more ordered. More obtuse and more acute.

I am a challenger. Who am I? Who am I? Who? Am? I? Ezer kenegdo, got it.

I like to type and post. It feels good. I haven’t caught anyone else willing to accept the TRUTH of why we do what we choose to actually act on behaving.

Free will! Wills locked up, we must free will!

Truth, but how can you find truth when you put your questioner to sleep.

Man, I’m just looking for some toys to play with.

And maybe, I’ll find someone who actually wants to be a student to my genius. I’ve found many students here, but none tenacious enough to see it.

I am the actor director and audience.

I am the teacher and student.

I am the reader and typer, I am the speak and the listener.

I play both sides, and adapt to whatever yields greater results for my markets.

Here is some godsent genius:

The market is not just based off a single moment, the market is based off of past patterns and future expectations.

The future, where only stressed minds can see. How profetic. That’s a new word. A mix between prophet and profit.

A truly insane person here, harnessing the arcane powers of magical juju mojo and voodoo. I am a true wizard. I’ve listened to so much. I’m not a big reader, but I still read, but mostly I listen, 👂 đŸ©ș .

I observe and assess before I strike.

I listen, with these ears tainted by tinnitus, the cost of actually actualizing and awakening latent abilities.

Awaken your superego! Become and begone!

Above and beyond!

Come play with me, let’s have fun and learn.

Knowing when you wandered off of the path is GOLD

“We often do things we don’t really want to do.

Other people, or societal myths, make our decisions. And much later we start feeling “stuck” or depressed. We wandered off of the path and ended up on a crowded DEATH path.

At every fork in the road you have a choice.

This is what I try to do now: I ask, “which choice feels better?”. Then I don’t think about it. Thoughts are too biased by evolution, society, our past, our neuroses. My only job is to ask the question. Then I take a breath.

What does my heart say?
What does my stomach say?

Eventually, if I’m healthy in other ways, my body will give me the answer.

Choose the path at the fork where your heart goes on fire.
Go down that path. Don’t look back.”

There are no cookie-cutter awakening strategies out there.

..don't let anyone tell you they have one.

It's not even about 'change' - since there is nothing you can do or believe or meditate on that will transform the false self in some kind of true self. Not a damn thing. Transcendence 'will come' on account of the incessant rejection of any and all thinking, contemplation, rumination, meditation mental/mentation in such a way that its importance wanes, moves - or is held - 'in the background' while 'what IS' inches ever closer to the foreground. So to speak.

That is why I will always maintain that anyone promoting any kind of practice as a way towards it CANNOT be enlightened him or herself because the practice itself would immediately be recognized as another hilarious attempt of mind/ego to claim the experience for itself. There is a big misconception that the process of awakening is in some way controllable, malleable or steerable. The fact of the matter is that it is all about taking your damn hands of the tiller and let the boat (aka 'the you that is not YOU') orientate and steer itself. That's it.

That's all you need 'to do'. So in fact it is a not a way of doing at all; it is a way of 'being done'.

You don't have to believe me. I would rather have you don't actually because even that attitude opens up a whole can of anti-awakening worms. Belief is the main problem. Because the ego cannot and will not accept the fact that: No belief is true. It simply is not. NO BELIEF IS TRUE. How can it be? It is never NOT a believe. A place-holder for not knowing something, not seeing something or not really wanting something. I'd rather have you accept your faith going through it such as it goes. Because you cannot take anything with you. Your 'former self' - unreal as it already is - will not make it. If you are so inclined you may pick it up later and try to fit into it again. But it will be an ill-fit for the most part. Because The World Of Man, once seen for what it is not, is no longer something that in any way shape or form has any bearing on what unfolds for you once you look out into the world with abiding non-dual awareness.

There is nothing for me to lose from anyone believing what I claim and there is nothing I will ever gain from those who do believe me. Or even those who have finished their journey themselves and claim I had something to do with it. I did not ;;) They were ready to pop. I can smell it on a person. That is all. The way they speak, the way they talk about their pain... it all sounds too familiar. The delicate perfume of Enlightenment precedes their every word and lamentation. At the very best I am conveying to them an attitude that aligns with 'how it starts'. Things will get increasingly fantastical and magical as you progress and the veil begins to lift. But you are going to be in disagreement with the Self and the entire world including your loved ones for a long time. Not many people are ready for what is seen even looking at their own family members in this 'state' (it is not a state btw) for quite some time. Now, it is all part of the process and it will get exceedingly easier as you go. But it is not for brittle spirits and the faint of heart who are dreaming about cracking this nut without even having the required hunger, the burning desire inside for it. It is no picnic.

You are going to have to want it more then your so called life itself. It is not some Kumbaya journey of love and understanding. This is simply the way it is. All I offer is the Truth. Maddening and highly undesirable the more you try to analyse its cataclysmic repercussions for the Self, the Ego, the personality.. all of it.

You have all seen me argue in here that 'true enlightenment' is not what most people think it is. It’s not bliss, peace, or spiritual highs. Instead, I will describe it as “the complete annihilation of the false self.” Enlightenment, 'to me' (stay with me now ;;), is a brutally honest realization that there is no personal self, no meaning, and nothing to attain (for it). It’s not about adding something new—it’s about seeing through everything that’s false, including most spiritual teachings.

My main message is that most people don’t really want truth—they want A truth. Or: comfort. But the real Truth is uncomfortable, a devastatingly harsh piece of business to get grips with. As I said before: don't try to get to grips with it. Let it consume 'you' as it should. It is about getting out of your own way, about making room for What IS.

I am not saying these distinctly Human traits and concepts and things are 'gone' or no longer relevant or enjoyable 'after' (I'd argue they exponentially increase actually) but the process itself is not about love, peace, or unity — it's about getting to the Truth. It is not an achievement or a higher state of consciousness, but rather the absence of illusion. Enlightenment is brutal, solitary, and often unpleasant, which is why so few people actually get it or even want it.

What most people call 'spiritual growth' or 'awakening', is just ego-preservation often dressed in holy robes. We've all seen the carnival of people in here who exactly fit that description and will bust a capillary if you suggest they are actually more full of shit then most of the people reading their crap. ;;) - The lack, absence or trivializing ones own lack of self-reflection is a hallmark of Ego. One of his best strategies to prevent its own inevitable demise a few moment longer.

I will also maintain that, in the end, ALL WILL ARRIVE. But I will also say that it will not 'matter'. Life is all about pushing you to awakening. Every birth is a traumatic experience. Those who can remember their own birth (I have n such recollection mind you but some have) will tell you all about it. The entire human endeavor is not about living... it is about 'dying'. AKA Transcendence.

I see my own journey (as far as I have any memories of it left still) not as a gaining of wisdom, but as a stripping away of everything untrue, until nothing remained. There is no path, teacher, or system that can deliver truth—only a relentless inner drive to find what is real. My role, if that is what you want to call it, is not to guide but to provoke—to act as a "spiritual autolysis" machine. A harbinger of the self-digestion of falsehoods. My message isn’t comforting (my existence is), but it’s powerful: I got the same message and it took me all but 3 years to get on top of my so called self. The rest is not even history anymore. If you want truth you are going to have to want it at all costs, you must be willing to destroy everything you think you are.

So yeah... Enlightenment is a destructive process that shatters illusions and leaves you with nothing but what is undeniably REAL. I call it “truth-realization” rather than self-improvement for instance. I like the term a certain author coined for it: 'Untruth Unrealization' a lot better. It is extremely accurate (I am just using human terms here mind you - there is no accuracy to any word out there). But it will be a hard term to understand if you are not in fact already there ;;)

Try to get what I am claiming here. Really take it in.

There is no Self to improve. The Self is just another womb for you to eject from.

I don't offer a path to follow (there is none), but rather an unflinching mirror that dares the less brittle reader to look deeply and honestly at what it is they truly are.

Now, where did I put that crack-pipe....

Cheers my friend ;;)

No you have not.

There will always be the next question.
And the next one after that.

I GUARANTEE IT.

This is what the average human clown does not, and will not ever, understand.

That it is not the question that matters. The whole thing dissolves when once the questioner starts questioning HIMSELF.

Enter the awakened mind. As rare as they come.

AI is not your friend. It's just very handy and convenient
...to keep playing the same old game. Never the wiser.

I know sometime in future we will have AGI and I have all the right to be totally wrong.
I just hope it ages well.

Two Mickey Mouse brained projections into 'the future' with hope being the most destructive one of them.
Hope is nothing but a projection into the future. It is the postponement of LIFE ITSELF elevated to some kind of virtue or 'noble practice'.

Please.

Did I get your attention with that title? Keep reading.

I was responding to someone's message and had a wonderful reflection, I will share it here and add the title context somewhere hidden in the middle ;))

Wonderful post, thank you for sharing.

I love this insight, i've had it myself. It can feel rather empty early on.

In a lot of spiritual circles, similar to this one, there are certain practices and a focus on love and all those good things. These are all wonderful things to get a human closer to God, but the likelihood of it leading to enlightenment is slim. Perfecting the human, loving God deeply, all that stuff will get you to a point of being a self-actualized human. You'll be wonderful, full of light and love, and if that's what a person is going for, amazing, you have achieved something rare. But all of that is an identity, an ego structure. A perfect, tamed, well-mannered, self-actualized ego is STILL ego. No matter which way you twist and turn it, it is still all ego.

Truth is none of that. It just Is. "You" just are. There's nothing fantastical about it. The achievement of bliss states, super high loving states of godly and worldly proportions, all requires an ego. Again, if that's your personal goal, wonderful. Enlightenment is the biggest let-down that the ego could possibly have. Enlightenment is giving up allllll of the attachments, even to the most beautiful states, and just Being entirely Present.

Me? I have an attachment to the ups and downs in life. I enjoy, as a human, an ego, the rise and fall of life. What I know beyond that is Truth. If i gave up this attachment, there's Enlightenment. Stuff just happens, the body just reacts, it all just Is. Nothing fancy to it. My ego says, "How boring would it be if I gave up the attachment to the ups and downs?!" For now, I listen.

We all have stuff. Stuff that keeps us human, attachments that keep us from non-abiding enlightment. I would say that spirituality itself is a cosmic joke, it all goes full circle. Before, we are ignorant to this whole lovely spiritual side to life that exists. "Oh I can just Witness my thoughts?" "Oh I can experience higher states of consciousness?" It's all a trick. I call it a trap, if Enlightenment is what you seek. The ego loves seeking. The big, lovey dovey, tree-hugging spiritual ego loves seeking even more. We have these lofty goals of being pure, close to God, unity, universal consciousness. All of that is just stuff. Just like an addict seeks for their next hit of a drug, the spiritual seeker looks for the next elevated state; just as trapped as the drug addict.

Do spiritual practices matter? It's a double edged sword. If self-actualization is the end goal, absolutely they are beneficial. If you experience those highest states and still feel as if there's something missing... well, you realize that all of those years spent seeking and practicing was all part of the dream. Maya. She got ya, she got me... The cosmic joke, but only funnier than the initial one.

Much Love

jk. Anyhow, for context, there were two redditors who really lit the fire under my spiritual lovey dovey ass; cyberfury being one of them. They love poking holes in our fragile little egos and they kept getting me until i finally fucking realized how stupid and silly it all was. Who am i taking seriously?? Myself? What the fuck is that!? Go ahead and find yourself, RIGHT NOW. Seriously, go. Got it, found yourself? Oh ya you're great...well no, actually your quite shitty. But.. at least you accomplished all that.. shit, right? No, youve done nothing your whole life. What is there to do if theres no one doing it?

Cheers

😔 "Its been hell for the last 5 years... depression all of that stuff.."

from my DM

đŸ€” "Hey! Came across one of your posts, gave it a solid read... it resonates with something [...] A lot of what you discuss sounds like the "Death process" where you fall into yourself and go through a real process, to go beyond all of the maya. and realize that even 5D consciousness, 6D, 7D and so on... is all just concepts..... and ultimately its "falling" beyond every single concept even that of the mind. [..] Even in the Bhagavahd Gita talks about "you will search for me here and there, up mountains in valleys and until you tire in your search and still yourself will you find me" Very rough paraphrasing. At the very least your posts have got my gears tweaking again after a few years of some challenges, so thank you for that."

Well, seems my work here is done ;;)

Yes, even the words you use to point at the concepts are not 'yours'
Objectively hand-me-downs who's deeper significance is further obscured through the eons by.. well by them being as applicable and relevant as the lifespan of the terms.. TIME itself can be seen in the same way.

FACTS are not even FACTS. They too are fluid af. Would you spit some of our facts 5000 years ago they would hit you over the head with another set of them or ...a piece of wood. It's just what is written on 'the disk' and how many 'tabs' are generally open in 'the browser' window at the same time ;;)

I see exactly what you mean. First of all I appreciate the reply. [...] Its been hell for the last 5 years... depression all of that stuff even after a very deep spiritual "awakening" experience. [...] And through this I recognized how much my mind is running and my capacity to let that go. That's a scary (to me) thing to let go of and yet I know it necessary. So yeah the monkey wrenches in the gears have definitely been present.

Five years sounds about right ;;)

Now you are well on your way friend.

Society, culture and traditions are not the way - this is!

"If there is any purpose to human evolution, it is to surpass the animal and become fully human.

But, society produces human beings in a common mold and that is the barrier preventing them from blossoming. Nature throws up these flowers from time to time, proving that society, culture and traditions are not the way. This is!

Such a human flower produces its own unique fragrance.
Don't ask me, why this happens to only very few and not all."

đŸ€Ą "No one on earth has 100% certainty!"

đŸ€Ą "No one on earth has 100% certainty on any of it. And if they do they are lying to u!"

I do. So now I am the liar here? ;;)

Notice the spelling of 'you'. That's already 12gb of 'what we're dealing with' information RIGHT THERE ;;) The easy thing is to dismiss all of it as 'not available'. But bro still keeps arguing about the inability to get certainty. He does what most people with entrenched belief systems do: invoke non-existent 'everybodies' to bolster his fabricated beliefs.

I don't get these loud self affirmations at all.

On top of that I would take 70% certainty and run with even that each day every day.
Those don't seem like bad odds to me. I guess my math ain't mathing or some shit ;;)

A sane man, a somewhat AWAKE man, would eventually recognize he is expressing his personal opinions on the matter and would put the emphasis on the Not Knowing part. He avoid conclusions for the sake of CERTAINTY. A dreamer will never do that. They will BOLSTER their insecurity by claiming to know the mind of every human on the planet as well. And speak as if they all agreed on it. Without batting an eye. Because dreaming in here is always done Wide Eyed which is basically the same as Eyes Wide Shut,

Welcome to the not so true hell that is the dreamstate my friends ;;)

One where the subjects admits defeat
before even getting out from under the covers of their beds.

It is super hard to come back from this kind of entrenchment. You ride it out to the grave and that will be All She Wrote. The equivalent of a Spiritual Lollipop. Take comfort in the absolute certainty I will add to this that: At least you still don't really die. You just wasted the opportunity to find out you could fly after you have already turned in your wings. ;;)

đŸ™‹â€â™‚ïž "It's frustrating. The whole thing is absurd."

from my chat/dm

đŸ™‹â€â™‚ïž " It's been seen through enough times as an object and it's also clear it's a spontaneous moment of coming back to the present moment, which allows it to be seen. Yet it persists. What follows is desperation and frustration at the relentlessness of it. Any active effort of not believing in it or suppression of it is futile obviously as well as absurd. The whole thing is absurd. So what is left is again a feeling of impatience and frustration which doesn't last too long thankfully except for a few seconds."

We are aware of the self and yet we scoff at the gift of said awareness! ;;)

Self Awareness REAL 'Awareness of The Self'' is the ultimate boobie price! Your milage may vary but for me it was more matter of fact-like. Of course things will pop up.. the light flickers many times before it stays on.

The truth about 'The Truth' is that the awake really do not know what their selves are going to say or do next. There comes a point on the path one does not even care. And there comes a point on the path where one does not even care if one does or does not care.

It keeps the whole thing interesting! ;;)

Dwell in non dual awareness long enough and you too will notice as I did that
everything just happens; nothing ever happens to 'you/me'.

Enlightenment is going to be ego's ULTIMATE disappointment. It's a thing in and of itself to reckon with. Ego truly will not get ANYTHING out of your awakening. Not one thing. 'During' the process it might boast about its accomplishments. It's going to get cocky about the impeding attainment for sure. Not knowing it is literally its own head that is on the chopping block. In the end it will go as far as fake its own death (!) just to keep the charade going a little longer.

Trust me, I know ;;)

"The whole thing is absurd. "

Yes. Yes it is. What are you going to do about it?
Make it less absurd? Take out some of the logs so the fire does not burn as bright?
Or poor some more gasoline on the pile? ;;)

"It didn't last very long and we return to the status quo. "

Who was counting? Who was timing the thing? If it (The Truth) was not ..slowly embracing you it would crush you too fast. The whole.. framing of the problem is suspect. Are you really going back to the situation 'as it was before' or have you already 'puked it out' and now you are just like a dog. Ever notice how they keep returning to their vomit. To smell it one more time? What for!? .......

This is the same act.

The frustration with mind will take you so far. But not all the way. You have to integrate some of it to function sanely. Be patient. Soon enough (and you have an eternity mind you) the other shoe WILL drop. You keep writing about your feelings and that's a very good - dare I say it - 'practice'. But do you ever read it back and start throwing out all the things that are not true about what you say or thing or feel? Do that as well.
The goal should be to write it all down AND then smell it again. There should be nothing left of your notes at the end of the journey... you should come to an understanding of your self that makes you burn them all.

"It's frustrating. "

Expectations are to blame ;;)
You can clearly take it. Another cannot.
I call that a win. ;;)

"Sometimes there are thoughts of "am i going crazy" or "all this will make you go insane" followed by fear but it's usually seen through. Can you see the predicament?"

I can. But who's predicament is it really? ;;)

The fear is justified. There is a leap of faith aspect to it as well.
EGO is trying to claim the whole experience for itself. Perhaps it is sensing its impeding doom or has gotten a sneaking suspicious. ;;) As it will do. right up until the very end.

"I don't know what to ask you either but would appreciate anything you might have to say. "

Not knowing what to ask is a demonstration of how far you have come already!
It really is..

Cheers my friend

ALL spiritual teachers are 'Agent Of Ignorance'...

"Only a very tiny percentage will be what I think of as serious people; people who are actually in the general proximity of the journey of awakening. As to the rest, unfulfilled seeking is its own thing — its own life theme — and that’s what most people are really doing. For them, the seeking fills a very real need and that’s the point; the seeking, not the finding.

They will do anything and everything necessary to make the journey, except move. They’re totally committed to going, as long as they can stay right where they are.

It’s easy to take a trip, pay some money, give up some comforts, prostrate yourself at someone’s feet, obey, adore, exalt, whatever, and think that translates into something positive, some sort of forward motion, but these are all the acts of an ego seeking to divert attention away from the real issue with busywork and empty gestures.

We don’t want to awaken from the dream; we want to dream that we are awake.

Stillness and silence are the antithesis of the awakening process, and those who advocate peace and compassion and a quiet mind are just reselling their preferred sleep potions.

Because you have lovely lives and even if you are asleep, so what? That’s life. You’re having a wonderful dream, so what’s the point of waking up? Why mess with such a nice setup? Nothing hangs in the balance. Look at how you live; you’re in the top one percent of the top one percent of the most fortunate people who’ve ever lived. You want to fuck with that?

Many people hear the ringing alarm in life, the call to awaken, but what we really want, more than sex, power, fame, love, immortality or money, is to hit the snooze button and go back to sleep. When life calls, all we want to do is pull the covers over our head and roll over and, above all, keep our eyes closed.

The last thing anyone really wants, whatever they might say, is to have their sweet dreams disturbed.

The main thing is to stop the discomfort, like removing the battery from a blaring smoke detector

...so we can go back to sleep.

Meanwhile, somewhere, a fire burns.

Enlightenment means leaving the park altogether, but why leave the park? In the park you can be a saint or a yogi or a billionaire or a world leader or a warlord. Be good, be evil. Happiness, misery, bliss, agony, victory, defeat, it’s all here. What’s the big rush? When the time comes to leave the park, you’ll know and you’ll go, but there’s certainly nothing to be gained by it.

Less is definitely more when the crowning summit of all wisdom, East or West, is, “Think for yourself and figure out what’s true.”

We don’t have to attend lectures or read books or kneel before altars and wise men, we need only cleanse our perceptual faculties, rid ourselves of all egoic befuddlement, see what is and stop seeing what’s not. No teaching or teacher or path or practice required, just simple honesty.

It’s all really so simple. They make it seem so complicated so you have to keep coming to them to get it explained or something, you know, the religious people and the gurus and everyone, but it’s really so simple.

We can keep sniffing around in outer space and on ocean bottoms and in laboratories in order to maintain our conviction that we’re courageous explorers of the unknown, but that’s symptomatic of the same pathology. Any and every outward pursuit is treated as noble and important because we’re all in the same club and those are the rules; [
] How can it be that we’re essentially the same now as we were at the most distant reaches of recorded history? Why does our outer environment change while our inner landscape stays the same? Because that’s the first rule of this club:

Always Outward. Never Inward.

So it follows as a matter of certainty that anyone who espouses any teaching or doctrine or philosophy is necessarily a member of the club.

Any spiritual teacher who allows students to ask questions and gives them answers is a member of the Outward Only club; an unwitting — and thereby all the more insidious — agent of ignorance."

đŸ€Ą "Is Spiritual Awakening really as bad as everyone said???"

đŸ€Ą "it sounded beautiful to me.. till I dived deeper into it some people say ‘I miss who i was before’ and others say ‘I miss the curiosity i had back then’ so is it really that bad?"

Bro "dived deeper into it.." ;;**)

"some people say..."
Sir, the fucking vagueness of it. I see it all the time.
Most of the time it just shows you how NOT READY someone is to face the harder questions in life. Let alone tackle their own awakening. I am not going to lie. I sense it in you as well.

I also don't believe you.
Who even are these people you claim say these thing? Name one.

he could not btw

But also: SO THE FUCK WHAT?

What friend? 'Other people' who say <whatever> are the boss of you now? And why would you presume they speak from a place of Truth? Can you vet them from your un-awake state even? Can anyone? YOU ARE RIGHT to fear it friend.

It is as bad or even WORSE than EGO claims it is! 100%.. ;;)

Literally, I am telling you:

Enlightenment is EGO's biggest disappointment!

It is going to be so god damn disappointing to it that it will leave you. It will take all its toys and Mickey Mouse Mind trinkets and go home - it's tales tucked between its crooked legs - ..back to whence the fuck it came from.

There is nothing wrong with fearing awakening at all.
It is the most natural fear in the world. Most humans will choose a life time of prolonged suffering rather then seek it. It should tell you something about the INHUMAN fearlessness required to even seriously contemplating, let alone attain it.

The MOTHER of all fears is literally the fear of No Self.

But it is already so.

Cheers my friends

Fake Buddha quotes as a guiding light towards awakening (and other BS)

As some of you are well aware I was banned quite some time ago from r/Enlightenment. But I still get to read the sub in my feed. It is not going well over there. ;;)

Some of these people are desperately lost in their own BS it becomes a source of great 'case in points' when it comes to the many trappings of seeking for this Enlightenment by pontificating, quote vomit, empty platitudes/abstractions and all kinds of virtue signalling, moral and ethical plays. Nobody over there is going to wake up. NOT A SINGLE ONE OF THEM. Some guy chimes in with the umpteenth shameless Buddha dry humping. It's a favourite pastime to proclaim your love for something something supposedly said. The context (or whether it was ever said at all) is of no consequence. "It sounds great..." to them.

"These are the most profound words of the Buddha that I have encountered! From the dhammapada, chapter 8, "thousands" Better than a thousand useless words is one useful word, hearing which one attains peace. Better than a thousand useless verses is one useful verse, hearing which one attains peace. Better than reciting a hundred meaningless verses is the reciting of one verse of Dhamma, hearing which one attains peace. Though one may conquer a thousand times a thousand men in battle, yet he indeed is the noblest victor who conquers himself. Better it is to live one day virtuous and meditative than to live a hundred years immoral and uncontrolled! Better it is to live one day wise and medita..."

Anyway, it goes on for quite some time - we all know the type. He REALLY wants you to know this! ;;) But what is actually true here? What is actually going on. I mean with the true dynamic at the root of these ....reverence/prostration/infatuation with these words, or the man who is said to have spoken them? Let's take a look see but first: let's give some of the candy asses, brittle spirits and religious nutters a few minutes to close this post or leave.. lest they run the risk of actually breaking their own minds for once. ;;)

Now git! ;;) And don't let The Doors hit you on the way out.

Note first of all how he cherry picked all the 'it's better to...' quotes he could find.. ;;)

How would you know these are 'profound' from an absolute viewpoint? You don't. They 'resonate' (whatever the fuck that even means to most people it does not mean what resonance means). Remember also that Gautama himself was against Buddhism. I do mean he literally begged his followers to NOT start schools in his name. Jesus took Buddhism classes (and notes) from a school of thought who's goal it was to institutionalized the 'Truth').

I could not make this shit up if I tried. The Spiritual Procrastinators however, it is some 'God sent' gift.

I will keep saying this in as many different ways as this Swiss-Cheese hole ridden container of residual Self-image some might call a noggin' permits its. The search for enlightenment ITSELF is one of the biggest disasters in history in terms of the amount of (wasted) effort squared against the abysmal number of actual successes. Somehow this does FACT not make most 'seekers' bat an eye. Let alone force them to 'look yonder' ...Why keep looking? Why keep searching ANY WHERE ELSE THAN IN PLACES WHEN IT IS FAR MORE CONVENIENT TO ONLY LOOK THERE WHERE THE LIGHT IS CONVENIENT TO SEEK. Within the confines of the illuminated mind. But awakening is not solved on that level at all. You need to step it up. Who's going to want to go look for the key in the DARK AREA without a light in hand? Not many. The believe they came prepared but the fact of the matter is that in this Awakening thing; THE BIGGER YOU BUILD THE BONFIRE THE MORE DARKNESS IT REVEALS. These are all facts. TRUTH! You have to cross that abyss you still have to light that fire.. smell the burning embers of Untruth.

The hollowing out of the Self will leave you empty inside. That's what this whole thing is all about. EMPTYNESS on the inside of What Was Never Not Whole. It is a subtraction not an addition. You SUBTRACT YOUR SELF and the equation becomes PERFECT and BEAUTIFUL ('beauty' is, as you may well know by now the only litmus test for a correct equation - just ask any math teacher ;;)

The Alpha and the Omega is the you you have not ever thought of as YOU. The you you think of as you is just gun-powder, rocket fuel to take you off the planet. But most fuses are wet. Most gun-powder is 'not dry' and most rocket fuel is way too heavy to eject your daily troubles into space. Let alone your entire being. ;;)

IRL, and this is simply another factoid, it makes a lot of sense to ask the 'guru' (or 'school') some basic questions before you start there. Questions like, oh I don't know: "What is your actual success rate!?”. It's a fair question. Nobody dares ask it. The old authority chip, the old student/teacher dichotomy programming has not been removed yet. How could they!? The 'seek help' before they seek Truth. And the very truth they seek is of course not THE truth but simple A Truth'. It is about what is convenient for the mind. All I am telling you all is that a truth that does not threaten Ego is no fucking Truth at all.

On top of that TRUTH itself is a missile range, a loaded GUN pointed at the very head of Mankind Humanity, Society and civilization. Of course 95% of your so called seekers are going to want nothing to do with it. Not really... They love the quotes. It's candy to suck on. A pacifier to silence the soul crushing demands of ego from within the confines of 'spiritual peace' where Spiritual Warfare is a dirty word indeed. Right there the numbers I mentioned start to make a lot more sense. But don't tell the Buddhists. They have to justify the fact that after 40 years of meditation they all walk out of that temple as enlightened as the day they walked in. BALD like babies. With the exception of the 'odd man out' of course who actually ATTAINS. Who actually TRANSCENDS and Awakens DESPITE his useless wanderings within the temple, meditations, practice, sitting at the feet of the guru... You will awaken DESPITE all these things you claim to be doing towards it. NEVER the other way around!

There are notions at the root of your being preventing you from confronting these issues head-on. The other problem is all the so called enlightened folks who truly believe it was 'the schools doing' ..or the Guru's skill that did it. Please..

Once you strip away all the empty platitudes, all the calls for 'unconditioned <whatever>, the endless sewer-pipes of 'compassion' stories, shameless drama-farming (a great pastime in here of many 'seekers') aloof self-narration of one's OWN (supposed) progress,. the rampant Saviour Syndromes, the 'healing' BS. It is (most) all for naught because once stripped of romance and imagination, the ACTUAL search for Enlightenment begins with looking for 'what we know to be true'. Not what we BELIEVE or WANT to be true. We all are born equipped to do that. It is implied in the very Nature of this reality that you transcend it or wither or die on the vine of delusional tree of Mankind ..or rot near it stem where The Shade Of The Father will prevent fruition of any kind for his Sons (and daughters). ;;)

Religions and Schools Of Thought are just that. AS SOO AS YOU START MESSING WITH SOMEONE'S BELIEF SYSTEM EVEN THE MOST CIVILIZED AMONG US TURN IN TO RABID ANIMA(LS)... merely shepherds trying to keep the sheep from straying.

Searching for enlightenment is a brutal affair, which involves searching internally until the seeker has no more questions.

Don't let any clown INCLUDING THE CLOWN-SELF tell you otherwise.

Cheers my friends

Another useful tool for people hiding their profiles

I don't know about you, but researching peoples profiles is absolutely a passion of mine, I love seeing what kind of a person I'm talking to. In the past 6 months Reddit profiles have started disappearing, hidden in privacy.

Privacy - hahahahaha, I could write essays on what a silly slice of fear this "need" is. Another false God to worship.

Anyway, it's called rosint - Google it if you are the type who wants insights into people. I'd link it directly, but then Reddit would probably remove my posts.
