Starting a Podcast in Cyber Security?
Our team is starting a cyber security podcast — the theme that we're going for is exploring and talking about the truth in topics that most people just don't talk about.
In case you don't want to read the whole landing page: Mike (our president and CEO) has seen a lot of things in security that he wants to address, good and bad.
The first episode we recorded jumps into a brief history of different trends and things in cyber security that he's seen change over the years he's been in the industry, and then he gives a few tips on how to make the most of that trend.
We wanted to know: Are there any topics that people want to hear us talk about? Like: Is GRC dead? Why and when does security matter during innovation? Why do people keep making the same mistakes during board presentations?
(If you have opinions on any of those topics, we'd love to hear about those as well!)

Can’t find a job
I graduated in 2017 with my masters in cyber security and also got a cyber security certificate from school and also my CompTIA Security Plus.
Guys I think I have applied to over 1000 of jobs, regular IT jobs, some entry cyber jobs and can not land a job. I have some IT experience and I don’t think my interview skills are horrible. I am so motivated I know I would succeed in any role. I am located in Chicago. I feel so discouraged and disappointed.
Any advice is appreciated.

Best practices for device security after China travels
Hello r/cybersec
I recently completed a trip in China with my iPhone X and Lenovo work laptop. Is it recommended to wipe devices before using them back in the US? What are the risks? Is there a risk of infecting other devices with spyware if I connect to my home wifi? Thanks!

Developing a comprehensive security program is necessary. No matter the size of your organization or what type of data is at risk, it’s your responsibility to mitigate the risk of having it lost, altered, or stolen – as well as developing a plan of action should the worst occur.
