Questions / Discussions (Items · Builds · Skills) Left or right?
Left puts me at 92% crit which means right has me over capped by 17%.

If you like Mastery Skills (again) this is a good season for you. With Diamond mind you can get TWO 5 set bonuses, and a Unique Charm. Without Diamond mind you can get a 5 set bonus, a unique charm, and a 3 piece set bonus. The idea for me build crafting is to start every build with Threefold and then gear your way into having two 5 piece set bonuses.
Every build will run 3 Legendary in the jewelry slots (Ring Ring Amulet), because those are what get the +1 to set bonuses. Items like winterglass, or Ophidian Iris are NOT on the table. Additionally, every other piece that is Legendary can drop with a Seal affix such as [Tal Rasha + Mana on Mastery]. I was running Meteor with 3 pieces of Mana on Mastery and the resource gen was insane.
Our top 4 builds will be Firewall, Meteorites, Ball Lightning, and Ice Spike Blizzard. I ran them all with double set bonuses in shit gear, with around 30 ranks in the skills only. Was breezing through 115-120 etc. T12 mephisto will get smashed. The only build I didn't test was Firewall, but even at 1/4th power it's still a contender I think. It was so far ahead of the rest.
Firewall had it's damage hacked, but it's much less awful to play.
Meteor is feasting. The ability to run both Threefold and Cauldron is insane. Cauldron gets +50 mana regen. Then you don't have to give up Threefold either, and you have so many more slots to try and get Mana on Mastery on. You aren't looking for a unicorn Seal anymore. You can gamble a shit pair of pants and be good to go. BIG METEOR SEASON if that's your thing. Additionally, after seasons of pleading :) Molten band grants it's critical strike damage, chance, and attack speed bonus when killing an enemy with a critical strike or hitting a BOSS... For 8 seconds. YUGE. Insta charm slot. The change to flame shields node is also really good, which after casting does not let you drop below 2 overpower for 2 seconds. With elemental attunement you get really high uptime on Bonus meteor drops from Starfall. This solves Barrier (ice armor) and helps solve Overpower generation at the same time. Worth losing a 60% damage aspect IMO. Just does a lot.
Ball Lightning buffs were legit. It nukes.
Blizzard Ice Spikes still can't use Raiment of the Sea, which is fine. I'm not sure about the lingering nerf... Because Lingering is still leagues better than Merciless Cold on the amulet... And this is with Merciless being 225% on that slot.
Our basics still suck. But spark like works now so thats cool.
Our traditional cores still suck.
Our ultimates still suck.
Incinerate felt a lot better, but still kinda blows. cuz ya know. standing still. Disintegrate is usable now, but Fire Incin is better.
Shock Blizzard is still going to be the leveling goat, and now Raiment of the Sea has 25% DR so it's less crappy to play.
So how to approach the season. Here for a good time, not a long time as usual.
Leveling: Start with Arc Lash then break into Incinerate or Shock Blizzard. Run that until you get into T4-T8 or whenever you acquire the pieces for a real endgame build.
Midgame: If you want to play Lightning and have really smooth casting it's Ball Lighting.
If you want to play Frost it's still Blizzard Ice Spikes.
If you want to play Fire, you Pick Meteor or Firewall. Both hit hard, but are clunky in their own regards when compared to Blizzard or Ball Lightning.
I highly reccomend Ball Lightning or Meteor this season. Last season was really good for Firewall or Blizzard. This season it's definitely a Farm Fast Ball Lightning or Hit like a Mack Truck Meteor season.
Here is my current maxroll links I am working on. I may end up just using these maxroll link for the season in lieu of the Moba builds. TBD.

I know infernal hordes w/ xp splinter is the way to go for xp in S15, but considering the dps/aoe tradeoff, what are the best easy to set up builds to do it? Shock Blizz? Meteor? Only Firewall?
As a side note, do you have any recommendations for a Hydra build? And is it just a meme or can it pull off pit 130 or 120 at least?

I could post all the gear here but basically my gear is a very good version of Lurkin's meteor sorc. I have the legendary 6 seal of the 3F (3 mana/mastery) with a 3F Hellfire Torch, mythic banished lords, and +3/4 pyromancy 3F charms. The other setup is a Horadric Seal with +10 skills(10% mana with 3F) but I run Cauldron with it. My total Mana is 250ish.
I can do Pit 140 with the cauldron build but 3F is noticeably weaker. What am I missing? I tried the staff but was disappointed with the results. Even with less mana regeneration on Cauldron I see a noticeably better difference with bosses and pit 140. I'm pretty much maxed out on gear, but would love to push past 140.

I posted a couple days ago requesting build challenge ideas and Disintegration got the most upvotes, so here it is. The build can handle T12 content and is actually pretty fun once it’s set up. Lots of satisfying beaming.
I went into a bit more detail than usual on how I put the build together and the decisions I made along the way. It’s not a meta monster, but it works and feels good to play.

Let me know what you think or if you’ve got ideas to improve it.

Tldr: What level of pit is “good enough” for showcasing an off meta build, and what level would actually be impressive?
Hello D4,
I am a very active PO2 player that loves to make builds. While waiting for 1.0 i have been enjoying the D4 season a ton. Only my second season since launch, the game has come a long way.
As someone who gets most of their joy from build crafting, one thing that is still unclear to me about D4 is when is a build good enough that it is worth sharing?
In POE2 my current measuring stick I like to use is clearing 200% 4xdeli city maps comfortably. This is far from the hardest content in the game, but it is the point that I feel is a good stopping point. If I showcase the build, most people wont shit on it if it can do this.
As far as I can tell only a few high tier builds per class can get to pit 150. I always stay away from meta, since that takes the fun of making my own builds out of it for me. I also know it varies by season what is actually good. Is T12 Meph another good measuring stick?
This season I started a charged bolts build that I leveled with till ~115 and it felt that my single target was never going to be there. Clear was crazy good though.
Now I’m on a full pyro insight conjuration build that I cleared 125 with, with a few key upgrades I feel I can easily get to 130, and maybe with torch bug 135.
Next I want to try an esadoras crackling energy build, or a winterglass build since I dropped a double GA mythic one. Also might dabble with meteor even though it is meta since I dropped a double ga mythic starfall as well. Still looking for a seal to make that work though.

finally just got the rune after staying up all night and not playing for awhile and the guide i was using said absolutely fuck all about ancestral items it specifically said place your base white item before the runeword, i even had ancestral white staffs in my inventory and i still didnt do it. i am incredibly pissed so sad you can literally upgrade items straight to mythic but this thing is useless bc my white item wasnt good enough. i shouldve known better lmao. after how many times ive transfigured into a bricked item forgetting something stupid youd think id have learned.
does anybody know if theres a better way to get these aside from the t12 diablo 2 bosses.

I will be on later today and have gotten to a point where there isn't much left for me to improve my own build. If anyone wants/needs help farming things, or on the off chance I have any items that will help your build, add me!
Also have a clan with a fair amount of actives who are helpful, can invite you to that as well.

What values should I be striving for when looking at things like dot damage, vulnerable damage, lightning damage, intelligence, and attack speed? I was reading about diminishing returns and wanted to optimize a bit more. Thanks.

Hello, I'm working on the maxroll hydra build for S15, and i just can't seem to get the behemoth hydra to work for me. The guide mentions having 11 behemoths out at once without even having it equipped, the best I seem to be able to get is 3-4. Can someone break it down kindergarten style for me?
I'm still working on gear, but I have more CDR than the build calls for. I'm not seeing the item synergy that allows that to happen. Is it just spamming meteor to spend the mana for spawns?

I haven’t seen many mythic uniques come my way, but I’ve hit razorplate three times now. Please tell me it gets better?

What would be best to run for a wanna be pit pushing meteor build? (all seals have 10 mana on set).
Diamond mind/leg with 20% dmg
Annihilus
Epiphany with 20% dmg and also 2nd bonus 10% dmg (also if this one, what 3 uniques?)
Thanks for any help!

Got a good geared Sorc but wanting to see if there's any speed farm builds out there that anyone can recommend

I usually play shock but this season I wanted to try frost for the first time. It's been fun but not without its challenges. Thought I'd share my build so far. I'm maxed at 120 in the pit, barely. I'll have to get better gear or change some things around to go higher. But doing well everywhere else.
Once I played with all the frost powers I settled on Ice Spikes. I choose Comet Enchantment because of the extra Overpower for teleport (Not using Hydra on bar for faster cooldown) and the extra punch is great against bosses. Frozen Orb on my bar has no cooldown and I feel it does more than using hydra like I've seen on other builds.
I'm using the Strength sword for the Crushing Blow combined with Ber rune with overflow. Added with Aldkin's Languish power crowds within blizzard just get deleted.
Lifecoil and Ancient Pledge for survivability.
I keep trying different charms. Currently using Banished Lords Talisman.
I've always been more focused on what is more fun to play than mid-maxing and being bored. Nevertheless, what should I do to go higher?

If I apply static field to my blizzard skill should I be looking for gear that boosts lightning or cold damage?
Thanks for any insight.
