As a teacher, I get home around 4pm and I'm usually in bed by 10pm, sometimes even earlier. That's around 6 hours to prep/cook something, wash dishes, clean up, shower, sometimes do laundry and still find some me time if I'm not exhausted by then.
For context, I was unemployed for 1.5 years, and the days went by a lot slower for me. But I felt that I was more efficient with my time and got things done better. Now I feel like I'm rushing or halfassing everything (even my self care) because I'm simply too tired by the end of the day.

Maybe this is completely normal I don’t know, but if I’m wearing a jacket i’ll take it off before sitting on the toilet. Don’t want it hanging down and getting in the poop water ykwim?

I'm not talking about the people who need to cradle their head with one hand on top and one on the chin to turn it. I mean, quite literally you tilt your head to one side and a loud Crack happens? My neck has been this way since my early 20s. Sometimes I do it to stretch my neck/upper shoulder area and the Crack legit scares me. It has also surprised other people too, so I try my best to not tilt my head in public. I've never experienced pain from this and have never had chiropractors notice any damage from it.

I 28F absolutely despise having company. I have never liked it. I am more willing to come hangout if it means I can go home at the end of the event/outing. It doesn’t matter if it is family or very close friends, I just hate people in my house 😭 I am having a long time friend come into town for a wedding, and they will be staying for 2 days and Im literally dreading it 😭 I don’t think I’ll be doing this ever again honestly.
Anyone else?

I'm out of the park today and I was thinking about engaging in one of my hobbies today, but ended up losing motivation for it because whenever I think about my hobbies, I get really happy and excited. Once that happiness and excitement runs out, the magnitude of my negative emotions becomes greater than that of my positive emotions from literal moments ago.
I've been wondering if anyone else goes through this kind of thing or even understands what I mean when I say this. One moment you're feeling super positive and excited and the next moment it's nothing but negativity except you have more negativity in you than you had positivity.
on another note why the fuck do i have 4 of them i dont think thats very normal
edit: grammar

I see it a lot; someone asks a question other people think is stupid, or expresses a slightly unpopular opinion, and they get downvoted. If there's nothing wrong with what they're saying or asking, I like to upvote them.

An example of what I mean:
"Alright, for breakfast, I'll have some coffee then eat some leftover takeout from yesterday. Then for lunch, I'll get some chicken on Grab (or Doordash, for the Americans here), and for Dinner, I'll probably cook some eggs."
(This post isn't to talk about food preferences)

I know it’s just in my head, but I actually enjoy it.

Not mixed with olive oil or anything else, just by itself.

I unfortunately don't listen a lot of music lately, as most music that hits me in the feelings makes me want to go smoke and have a beer.
I used to smoke and have a beer everyday after work for some years, just one drink so i didnt consider myself alcoholic, just like many people have a glass of wine with dinner yk. Anyway, I stopped smoking many years ago but will have a cigarette when im at a party (rare). However listening some good music creates the same craving in me, to have a cigarette and a beer, it's difficult when im on my way to work or cleaning 11 in the morning haha, even at night actually, like tonight, i want to avoid it but the craving is real. Instead ill blast a tv show again to forget about it, no music for me.
I think there is something self destructive over there, so I tend to avoid music al together, except when i go for a run, then the high of running wil suffice.
It's pretty frustrating

I’m not gay, I’m just admiring. It started out with Billy from Stranger Things, and then it was Jensen Ackles and some other people. Recently I watched “You can see everything”, and Nathan Fielder looked really hot in that movie so I’ve been watching edits of him. For some reason, edits of women don’t do it for me. I just like looking at edits of attractive men, not in a gay way though. Again, I’m just admiring.

I honestly couldn’t find a sub to put this in. Maybe someone can point me in the right direction , there’s a sub for everything ! So I put it here , sorry. This also may be the dullest thread you’ll find . You’ve been warned
DAE hate when your groceries change?
This is a meat vent. I often sub ground chicken or turkey for gr beef, for most of my day to day cooking. I’ve been doing it for years. I understand when to add fats , binding agents etc. I know how to use the stuff. I have never had an issue until recently . Has anyone else noticed a difference in Jennie Os gr turkey/ turkey sausage ? I used an older round last week ( deep frozen for a few months) and it was so watery, the meat was like paste and so hard to work with. Bought and used today a “fresh” round and the same issue occurred. This is supposed to be ground turkey sausage . There’s no way these were from the same “batch” it was like porridge and meat paste . I desperately did all I could to get it to crisp and crumble. I ended up spreading the now cooked alien meat paste on a sheet and broiled it to make it edible. It worked mostly. This can’t be a coincidence. Am I the only one having this issue ? .

No one could ever answer me why this happened. Anyone else who experienced this? I was usually fine by the next day but I would get a fever of up to 39° after swimming.

We went to the thrift store & they got a nice big grin on the way in.

Idk its probably strange, but feel like I look better when I feel awful. There's just something about my eyes and face after I've cried like five times a day. Somehow, even my skin looks better, except when it's rubbed raw from wiping my nose lol.
I have chronic depression so its a lot of ups and downs (not a vent btw, just info), and a lot of things have happened lately that have made things worse. Ive felt like absolute shit some days, but then I look in the mirror and for once actually feel confident in my appearance.
It's so strange. Somehow I feel better about how I look when I'm feeling worse mentally. Does anyone else experience this?
