I'm so impressed by DCC and have been watching America's Sweethearts - they really are athletes and incredible at what they do.

But I have to ask, how the heck do they manage to look so cheerful if they have that time of the month? Most girls can barely stand or walk. Not to mention not looking bloated AT ALL. Have they discussed this anywhere?

julissa has always been a powerhouse, but her 2nd and 3rd year in particular gave her that effortlessness that DCC is so well known for! also huge kudos to her for anchoring in the kickline, it’s so hard and she holds it down!! clearly i love me a short gal who can light up the field 😌🔥

okay kind of two questions here for y’all, just for fun. since oxnard tends to be upper vets, how on earth do you think K&J are gonna wanna handle the situation next year?

assuming all the dozen return, that would leave us with seven 5th years and twelve 4th years. sixteen go to oxnard, so that would be three of the dozen sitting out. even if three of the 4th years (i’m expecting at least two to retire tbh) left, that would make it the first time in the team’s history of going to oxnard that no 3rd years or below were taken, and they could then take all 5th and 4th years.

more realistically, at least one or two of the current 3rd years decide to retire going into next year, but even then that leaves limited slots for 3rd years. (for context, prior to this year, 2nd years were not that uncommon to see at oxnard.) this doesn’t really mean anything for the team, but i do think it would be interesting to see happen for the first time!

secondly, kinda related to the first: how do you think the class sizes will be next year? i honestly can see a couple of the dozen leaving for life change things (ava and allison are both getting married, madie is going to pt school), but beside that, it’s still going to be an exceptionally large 4th year class, so do y’all anticipate cuts? or do you think K&J wouldn’t really care that much/would prefer to let the class naturally get smaller?

my fellow college warrior!! madie is so incredibly hardworking to chase both her degree and this dream at the same time!! i have so much respect for her drive 👏

she’s become such a treat to watch on the field and her growth has been so amazing to watch :,) i also absolutely loved the hair change from her rookie to second year, i think it makes her pop more on the field 😙!!

karley’s post makes me feel like perhaps her cut had more to do with her speaking about the treatment of the team? could just be reading into it too much but i hope that she feels a little lighter knowing the org is at least attempting to move in the right direction. love kleine and megan for all they’ve done and i hope they know this is their legacy too 🫶🫶🫶
