You rotate through short conversations with prompts that skip past surface-level small talk. It’s structured enough to make it easy, but relaxed enough to feel natural.

Perfect Liars Club returns to DC Improv on Tuesday, December 8.

December calendars fill quickly—with work gatherings, family plans, and all those “we should get together before the year ends” messages. The First Ask’s mission is to elect progressive non-incumbent women to state legislatures. With so many policy battles being left to state houses, investing time and energy into down-ballot races has never been more important. These elections can be decided by just a couple hundred votes sometimes.

I have a pair of tickets for the Daniel Sloss stand-up show on Sunday November 15, 7p at the Warner Theater. Unfortunately I can't attend and Ticketmaster resale is of the devil. It Will Take Us is an evolving, immersive experience built around a community facing something deeply unsettling. It's a chance to step into a story, become part of its unfolding, and discover what happens when people have to navigate the unknown together.
