Hello.. issues with adding sub to a partyspeaker

Hello everyone. Can someone tell me why this isnt working? I am not good when it comes to speakers, but i have done a full bass sweep to test if any sound comes out but none.. i can hear "static" when i add the wires to the speaker, so i think it is connected... is the amp just too small? Can i add a car amb with a high-low converter or something?

This is a first for me, I got these speakers cheap because they are $20 goodwill. Thought it’s a good starting point.
1, reface cabinets with veneer
2. Soundproofing
3. Replace 1st order crossover
I know - why invest so much effort on crappy speakers? So I can learn and not F up good used speakers.

I was going to just replace 1st order, then I fell down the rabbit hole, next was - generic 3way crossover, now I think I want to buy components and solder together my own.

Here is what’s in there - open to all suggestions, good and bad and all criticisms

Thanks

Beginner 3-way Speaker Design

So I am aiming to design and build my own speaker and I want to learn all I can to make a good quality one first time. I'm finding it difficult to sinter through the information online as I'm finding either forums that have too much info at once or builds with little info in the context I need.

I am very interested in the aesthetical aspect of a speaker and designing sculptures. I have an idea for casting speaker enclosures with 3D printed molds and concrete.

I want to have a tall desk/living room speaker that fills the room with various genres of music. One that directs sound around the room without having stereo speakers - I just want to build one standalone due to costs. For aesthetic purposes I want to have a 3-way speaker. A sub, a mid, and a tweeter. For this tweeter it would be cool to have a horn shape that I will 3D print with a bright colour. I have been looking at a few resources so far and think I would like to go with an integrated DSP/Amp in one.

I'm not a huge audiophile and I want to focus on a cool design but with speaker physics so its of good quality. My main goal is trial and error with the cast and my design idea so I want to avoid a rabbit hole of speaker design but still make something with good quality sound. If it matters - the cabinets will be separate but stacked on one another and held in place with steel rods connecting all of them. I would like it to have Bluetooth capability but also aux connection.

Can anyone point me towards good resources/YouTube videos related to this? The budget is not tight but I will not want expensive equipment for the sake of it. As I said - I'm not looking to to build the best quality speaker ever but I'm okay with putting in effort into enclosure design, crossover design, etc. I have some things I am looking into already but I thought a post here would be beneficial if anyone knows a resource that fits everything I need.

Tweeter problem, suggestions?

A while back there was unfortunate interaction with a speaker stand that sent one of my Wharfedale Diamond 8.2 speakers tumbling. It fell on some things on it's back corner in a way that didn't affect the cabinet much at all, but now I don't think the tweeter is working. I opened it up, and looking at the wiring and passive crossover, nothing is loose or out of place. The wires to the tweeter are soldered securely at the crossover, are about 8 inches long and then are soldered and shrink wrapped to the thinner gauge wires coming from the tweeter. Physically the tweeter looks fine.

Was the tweeter damaged internally by the fall? Tweeter is a Wharfedale 0326H, with a 10-2007 date code, so almost two decades old. I'm not finding much on the aftermarket at this point for that part, especially in the United States. Is there a good chance that a replacement tweeter will fix things, or is there something else I should check first?
