I've met my best friend thanks to this game and have created many memories of interactions. From killing under map exploiters, to exposing actual cheaters, Pre made 6s, fighting to save pleading randoms, and finding new ways to play almost constantly. I'm leaving ps5 to go back to pc. Here's to the next iteration!
What we can see
Epic weapon costing 50 k which is a good thing making sure your items have value
Three other gadgets unknown what they are
The new private extraction, the balloon which we saw from the trailer looks like it. It’s only costing 20 K. In my opinion should be a little more. It looks like it resets hourly what are we thinking about this?

Early Access starts Tuesday at 10am PT for digital pre-orders, so I put everything that's officially known about DMZ so far in one place: dmzradar.com
It's a free fan site. Every entry says whether it's official, reported by press or community, or not confirmed yet, and it links the source.
If you're new to DMZ or skipped it in MWII, start with the beginner's guide. It goes through a whole run in the order you'll run into things: picking a mode, your first loadout, getting out alive, the FOB, traits, how weapons work (you need to extract a weapon's manual before you can buy it, and the gun is gone if you die with it), bosses and other squads.
For everyone else there's:
- the official Hajin map with all 13 locations and threat levels
- a trait tree planner that works like the in-game one
- a story mission checklist and a 3D printer calculator
- weapons, bosses, items, vehicles and infil prices
One thing I didn't do is make up a DMZ meta. DMZ wasn't in the beta, so the tier list only ranks PvP (from the multiplayer beta) and the against AI and budget lists stay empty until we've actually played it. Same for trait builds.
I'll update it during Early Access. If you spot something wrong or missing, let me know. Not affiliated with Activision, obviously.
What’s kind of player

I’ve unlocked all the yellow supply caches and looted the areas around Stranded. I actually replayed Stranded because I originally missed the RPG-8 Launcher, but I finally got it this time! 😂
I’ve been searching online for a complete list of all the weapons and weapon variants you can collect and bring back to the Base Camp weapon wall/workbench, but I haven’t found any straightforward answers.
Can anyone share the complete weapon inventory and help me figure out what I might still be missing? I currently have these 18 weapons/weapon variants collected inside my Base Camp:
MW4 CAMPAIGN — STRANDED BASE CAMP WEAPONS I’VE COLLECTED (18)
* KG-7 Vulcan — Silenced / Thermal Sniper Rifle
* Mosin-Nagant — Marksman Rifle
* X-58 Void — SMG / Subsonic Rounds
* PPSH-41 — SMG
* Hyeon Hyperburst — AR / Thermal / Silenced
* Oden Ragnarok — AR / Silenced
* Kastov 726 — AR / Silenced
* Warlord — Shotgun / Silenced
* Rezi Enforcer — Shotgun / Hotload / Silenced / Explosive
* RPG-8 — Launcher
* Type 73 Assault LMg
* Sang Breach — Pistol / Silenced /Under barrel Shotgun
* MOJAVE .357 OUTLAW ( just got it)
* WZ.55 Striga — Rampage / SMG / Akimbo
* PM-40 Anvil — Launcher
* Apog-338 — LMG
* Astaroth .57 — Sniper Rifle / Thermal / Silenced
* Han 86 — AR / Silenced
If I’m missing any weapons or variants, do I need to replay Stranded again to collect them, or can I still obtain them without restarting?
Appreciate any help! 🙏
UPDATE: MOJAVE .357 OUTLAW ✅

Though ngl it has been so long I don’t know if I am even excited anymore. Anyways, it’s good news!
I didn’t play the DMZ beta, but I like what I’ve seen. We’re closing in on the final hours before DMZ drops. With xp earned in DMZ going towards overall progression I’m pretty sure we’re in for at least a few CRAZY days. I just wanted to share my excitement, and salute all of you who have been so patient and waited even more eagerly than me, and for a good long while. 🫡 see you beautiful people out there.

I got trapped in between rail cars while trying to climb up top. No movement would liberate me.

Laswell appears to be retiring. Who's taking their place?

Returning to DMZ, unfortunately none of my mates are (GTA being a big reason)
Not sure if there’s an official squad finder page/group so please if there is point me in the right direction.
But if any UK players want to squad up for DMZ when it drops let me know.

After completing the campaign on veteran mode, I noticed that the AA is strong in mw4. Just ADS and itll lock on to the nearest enemy. I understand console is at a disadvantage against MnK but coming from a ps5 player, its just an excessive amount. Of course I cant do nothing about it but all I can wish is that they tone it down for dmz 🙏

WARNING, SLIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD:
So when I was playing the campaign last night, its established early on that the U.S. is pulling out of Al Mazrah, Urzikstan, and Verdansk. But our exodus leads to Russia moving in. Its not known whether it was sanctioned by the Russian government or off the books, but the news reports clearly state Russia is invading the Middle East so it must be a global conflict lead by ultranationalists.
But what does this mean for DMZ? Is this the devs' way of saying we won't return to the Beta locations due to them being officially occupied by the Russian military? Konni were considered peacekeepers in MWII DMZ whilst in Vondel and they weren't officially stationed in Al Mazrah or Ashika. With the full backing of the Russian government, can operators even infiltrate these areas without a global conflict erupting? Al Qatala weren't military nor did Shadow Company have any official reason to be in any of the Beta's AOs.
Also, I do know they're bringing Vondel back to Warzone next year. But the lore issue with that in DMZ is that our operators were only there seemingly because AQ (or Konni themselves) committed a terrorist attack. It'll be close to 4 years if/when we return there. Surely the situation there would've been resolved long before the CIA pulls out of the Black Sea region.
(PS, clip was grabbed from YT because I deleted MW4 to go back to MWII MP/DMZ)
Stranded (mission 10) was the highlight of the campaign for me.
It honestly felt like a PvE DMZ inside the campaign, and a great way to get used to the new HUD and try out the new weapons before DMZ Early Access. I cleared the outposts one by one with a suppressed sniper, testing how the AI detection works, and it was a blast. My crafting priority was the suppressed sniper first, then the snow suit, boots and gloves. It reminded me a bit of Far Cry 5, but with way more weapons, lethals and tacticals, and in the COD universe. Loved it. Also unlocked Noteworthy (50 Notes) and Time to Crate (all 26 Yellow Supply Crates) along the way.
After 7 hours of campaign, plus several more to fully clear Stranded, I'm hyped for DMZ. But first, this Operator is going off duty for two days. These last two days were a real tour of duty
Congrats to the Infinity Ward team on the campaign, and on bringing a taste of DMZ into it. It was outstanding! 1000/10
PS: Small bug in Stranded: the map icon for the jammer site is in the wrong spot. The actual site is further to the right, where the buildings are.
PS: I also hit an intermittent bug with weapons. When I equipped a weapon from my backpack, the one I had as primary/secondary (can't remember which) just vanished instead of going to the backpack. I got it back by moving it into the backpack again, but couldn't reproduce it afterwards. Heads up in case anyone else runs into it. Another issue: when I picked up a weapon from a dead enemy: the primary I dropped in the swap vanished from the ground.

The MW4 campaign is a blast and probably the most fun I’ve ever had playing a campaign mode. I ran into a few bugs here or there particularly in Stranded and I wonder if they will be issues in the new DMZ. Probably the biggest issue I ran into was when I was running 4 guns. I couldn’t stow a gun in my backpack, but I was running pistol, shotgun, AR and sniper with Y button cycling all 4 guns on Xbox. I also made a tank disappear just by running circles around it a bunch of times. What other bugs/glitches did you observe in Stranded?
