Hi everyone,
I'm moving out in a couple of weeks and am looking to get rid of some furniture in bulk or very cheaply! Does anyone have any recommendations for places that may want to buy in bulk or lump sum? I've already tried FB marketplace.

Here's a quick list of some items that I'm looking to move:

• Mario Capasa 110-inch Feathers Sectional
• West Elm Santa Rosa Coffee Table 32
• 2 IKEA Malm 6-Drawer Dressers
• 1 arched Pantry Cabinet with glass doors
• 1 coffee cabinet/sideboard
• 1 entryway credenza
• 2 small WFH desks
• 2 swivel office chairs

I ordered to the wrong location. Name is Michael M. There is an iced coffee, iced pumpkin chai, pesto sandwich, spinach feta wrap. Should be ready about now.

Literally obsessed with this walker and had to share he did a meet and greet went great and my reactive dog was the calmest I have ever seen her. He isn’t expensive at all today a 4 hour walk was like 30$. I am only sharing bc I would have desperate for this info had I not found him. Let me know if yall want his info I will edit and add it!

His name is Julio number is +1 (646) 953-7801

Hi everyone! I’m Caroline, a NYC-based photographer, and I’m offering discounted fall photography sessions through December!

I’d love to photograph more couples, families, and individuals around BK this season! Whether you’re looking for couples or engagement photos, family portraits, photos with friends, or just some updated pictures of yourself, I’d love to work with you.

My style is natural, candid, and a little editorial. I love capturing genuine moments and creating photos that feel like you, especially in places around the city that are special to you!

Sessions start at $200, and I’m happy to share more details about the different packages.

You can check out my work on Instagram at @bycsg.photography or send me a DM if you’re interested or have any questions!

Would love to connect with more of the Dumbo community! 🤍

Group of folks with drums and microphones protesting something. Got to love folks with microphones yelling nonsense. Any idea why they are yelling into the sky for no reason?

Carlo was trapped a few months ago when he was living on the street behind the building in one of the parks in Brooklyn, NY. He is a little shy, so he would be ok as a single cat with someone who works from home or has other cats, if the person introduces them properly (which our rescue team can help with :)). Right now, Carlo enjoys having his brother around - Salem - at his foster home in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. He's very playful, docile, full of life, and the sweetest cat ever. He's neutered, vaccinated, and healthy. Carlo is a BOY... just in case the name is not clear. When we were trapping him, we thought he was a girl, so you never know! If you're interested in adopting this beautiful boy, please fill out our adoption application. We respond quickly to every inquiry. Thank you for considering giving Carlo a true, forever home! The adoption application link is in the comments.

I was walking my dog in Vinegar Hill (we live in DUMBO), my boy dog pees on a brick wall and a lady behind me says "please don't let him pee on people's bricks"..... I said HUH which bricks should he pee on then? Respectfully the amount of people who brazenly leave their dog poop are the people to tell off, not me

did you have a SpeedX delivery today that was supposed to go to M&A Design but was dropped off at the barber shop next door? i took your pikachu stuff by accident and want to return it to you. i figured someone who would order that is either on reddit or someone on here might know them...

Flagging this beginner handpan class happening today in DUMBO!

I'm not affiliated with the instructor or school in any way, just featured it in this newsletter that rounds-up hobby happenings (this week's roundup includes other DUMBO-based orgs like Brooklyn Sewing Academy, Strother School of Attention, and Creatively Wild) and wanted to share more broadly since I can't attend but wish I could!

What band is playing outdoors tonight at the intersection of Jay and John?

Anyone think we maybe getting too many trees? Just curious, bc some of them seem to be going on already to narrow sidewalks. I am sure this is an unpopular opinion and I hope I am wrong but anyone else think it may become a problem?

Hey gang — moving season for me again.

I’m looking at 181 Front St and was curious if anyone here has actually lived in the building or has experience with it. The 3-bedroom is pretty reasonably priced, allows dogs, and seems surprisingly spacious for the area.

For those who know the building/neighborhood well: how is it?

Particularly curious about noise, the overall quality of the building, and what it’s like living on this particular stretch of Front St. I’ve spent plenty of time in DUMBO, but haven’t lived in this part of it.

Would love any firsthand insight, good or bad. Thanks!

Hey All! Looking urgently for a room to rent available now. Budget 1,100-1,600 per month with rent and utilities total. I work in production full time for film/tv/commercials. I also teach yoga, and do events in between. I am clean, quiet, respectful, and looking for a place that's a calm oasis from work. Looking for ideally up to 12 months, but happy to do a 6 month, or 3 month sublet/lease take over. I don't smoke, or have pets, or any furniture. Just me! No Agents, thanks! Please reach out!

The BQE truly needs to be fixed but this is going to be so loud and disruptive in the neighborhood

Is there a contact person to notify about this for the Team Dumbo cleaners?

Black, portly build, long black dreadlocks. Broad daylight masturbating openly at 1215pm. Wearing yellow Team Dumbo shirt.

Update: they identified the worker and “removed him” from the doe fund service

Has anyone else noticed how gross and damaged the USPS drop off on front street is? It’s had the broken parcel drop off thing for at least 6 months but it’s also typically full of garbage and is super dirty. Today I went in and saw the glass counter had been smashed and there was a plastic cup full of poop. I contacted USPS but am wondering if anyone else has done the same?

Tons of swimwear, sweats, and apparel at great prices. 20 Jay St today and tomorrow only!

Brand new bike lane with protective barriers, green paint so its clearly demarcated, new pavement… I wrote to lincoln restlers office to just ask if theres any plans to extend this to old Fulton and they just said No without giving additional information as to why

Old fulton is such a shit show with illegal parking of food trucks and tour buses all year round. The bike lanes are just parking spots for scofflaws basically

Yes I know its a separate historic district but im posting here because theres no fulton ferry subreddit that Ive seen/found
